We ate here today and I highly recommend it. The owner's service was exceptional, always attentive. They have many gluten-free options on the menu (pizzas, burgers, mixed dishes, etc.), and they even make gluten-free batter. They also have gluten-free desserts. If we return to the area, we'll definitely know where to eat. Everything is delicious and very good value.
Super cute little cafe with incredibly warm service! Above all, there were also delicious gluten-free options, there was even wonderful gluten-free bread. The tostadas were lovingly decorated with fresh thyme leaves or pomegranate seeds and were even extra delicious.
And wonderfully chocolaty gluten-free ‘doughnut’, but more of a small cake.
And don't forget the highlight: the orange cappuccino, which is made with fresh orange peel. A poem that tasted almost like orange chocolate.
Today we went for breakfast, looking for gluten-free options, and the experience couldn't have been better. The gluten-free breakfast was magnificent: a classic toast, but they'll swap the bread for a spinach waffle, adapting any toast for this option. Of course, the gluten-free breakfast is spectacular. The coffee they toast themselves is also delicious. A super cozy place, impeccable service from the staff, extremely attentive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
From its terrace next to the Estany des Peix, every visit is like a hug from the sea: a family-friendly atmosphere, serene views, and the aromas of freshly made pasta. The staff treats you like a visiting relative: friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The menu, without gimmicks, ranges from golden pizzas to seductive pastas to gluten-free options for everyone.
The prices are fair (something rare in Formentera), so repeat visits become a habit. And yes, their reputation precedes them… so it's best to book before you arrive.
There's just one "small" drawback…
THEY ARE CLOSED ON TUESDAYS! 😅
So if you're planning your breakfast by the lake, but your calendar says Tuesday… prepare to gaze at the water with a raised eyebrow and a treacherous stomach. But hey: after Monday, there are only six great opportunities to return!
Can you guess which day we went?
Espai Food Lovers is not just a café, it is a gastronomic haven in Alcúdia. I love this place, it is my go-to place for breakfast all week long! 🌟 It combines delicious, home-made cuisine with excellent service and a unique atmosphere. The coffee is delicious (note: I am a Portuguese coffee lover). Highly recommended for those who value flavours, convenience and a delicious touch. 🍰
⭐ Strong Points
Incredible variety: options for everyone (vegan, gluten-free, traditional).
Artisanal quality: everything is made locally, with care and refined flavour.
Cosy atmosphere: the ideal space to relax, chat and enjoy at your leisure.
Excellent service: human warmth and genuine friendliness.
Although something is somewhat expensive, it is very worth it. Everything is gluten free and the quality is great. The coffee is very delicious, the bread, the sweets and the service perfect. Of course, it fills up quickly at brunch time, so you have to get there early.
We travelled from Sa Coma on the bus to visit this place as we'd heard great things. The coffee was great, they spoke English and offered us English language menus, all the food is vegan and home made and most things can be made gluten free. We had chocolate pancakes and tomato tostada. It was delicious. We took away some cakes and coffee and they were amazing too. Highlight of our holiday to Mallorca. Thanks so much.
This was such a great find! We pretty randomly came here to eat and wish we would’ve found it sooner. Delicious food. Great vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.
Strategic place, both for drinking and eating
I am a celiac person and for me it has been a discovery to find this place in Formentera, it is not easy to find places like this.
Thank you
Susi & Gonzslo
We will return....
Such nice, friendly people. Great food. Gluten free and vegetarian available. We came for coffee one morning and Asian tapas. Would definitely recommend. Lovely atmosphere with strung fairy lights and quietly buzzing.
Wonderful place for both the food and the service. The gazpacho is homemade!!! (and like my mother's, who is from Seville). I'm also a celiac and apart from the beer (which is already a miracle) they have many gluten-free dishes!! And best of all, we arrived quite late, peninsular time, and we were able to eat!!! Something unusual in Mallorca!!! I love you girls

Oat pancakes were nice and my husband enjoyed the poached egg with hollandaise sauce. Gluten free bread was available. It would be nice to have more choices of pancakes and e.g. soya yogurt or dark chocolate sauce. Great service and very helpful staff.
Laid back restaurant, excellent healthy food with fresh ingredients. This is the fourth time here, and everytime has been excellent. Serves vegan, gluten free and Also chicken / duck. Recommended.
Excellent experience, one of staff members is coeliac and fully accommodating, homemade gluten free bread is the best I’ve ever eaten (it didn’t even fall apart!) also iced coffee to die for best place for breakfast/brunch
The best coffee on the island (Berliners feedback). Not forgetting to mentiok the great variety of smoothies, bowls , breakfast, gluten free and began options. Top place 👍

More than a brunch, it's an experience. Without a doubt, one of the best places on the island to take a little time for yourself and enjoy delicious food. The staff is fantastic and tries to make your time there unique. Thanks to Pedro, for always making me the best Cold Brew I've ever had and caring about his customers, and to Marta, who always served me with such kindness and happiness. I'm celiac, and they have many gluten-free options that are delicious. I'll never tire of returning.
