Really delicious food, nice atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff. As a coeliac and vegetarian it’s great to eat somewhere that can adapt anything on the menu (except the pancakes) to be gluten free, and reassuring that staff really understood my allergy (a few staff members are coeliac). Really recommend the avocado smash!
Foodilic offer nutritious meals and nearly always have gluten free options. Reasonably priced and they use separate utensils to limit cross contamination. Great for a quick meal when on the move!
Really nice spot - great coffee and hot chocolate and great lunch menu too. They have several vegan and gluten free options also. Staff are super friendly and helpful :)
Wow I just love this place so much! The food is absolutely amazing, some of the best brunch in Brighton & Hove. And the best service. Such a warm family run business. I felt very well taken care of. And such a relaxed peaceful atmosphere. A little gem of a place. Definitely a new favourite. I’ll be coming back regularly.
Ps I’m gluten free and the chef made me amazing gf french toast!
A lovely venue. A really nice large mug of coffee and very lucky to get the tastiest gluten-free cake I’ve had in a long time staff very helpful. Also, Very reasonable
Really yummy and affordable tasting menu - especially impressed they could do a vegetarian coeliac version and the pasta was really good quality for gluten free. Also nice local wine, and all the staff were super friendly!
When you're here, you'll experience the Brighton flair. Great service, especially considerate if you have allergies like gluten or lactose intolerance! The gluten-free bread is truly delicious :)
A definite recommendation for brunch at The Lanes

Absolutely wonderful, my mother and I visited during our short holiday in Brighton. We took full advantage of the 2 for 1 deal on cocktails here and enjoyed mojitos and long Island iced teas. While we had hoped to have our lunch here, we were quickly informed that there was risk of contamination in the kitchen and so, due to my coeliac disease, we chose not to risk it. Still, we adored the drinks and the atmosphere more than made up for the food. The cats are friendly and sweet, especially the Turkish Angora, Eros! Highly recommend a visit, book a reservation if you can!
I came here for my birthday, lovely service and great with allergies. I am coeliac and there were many options available including delicious pancakes! The food was delicious and we were able to take home any leftovers. Would absolutely recommend!
This is a lovely locally owned cafe near the centre of Brighton that offers a delicious array of freshly made cakes and pastries. Every time I have visited the service has been impeccable and superbly friendly. The prices are beyond fair for the quality of food and drink you receive and I cannot recommend this establishment enough. There is also a wide variety of vegan and gluten free options as well!
Amazing Brighton food spot! Hidden gem! The best sweet & savoury crepes I’ve ever had outside of France. Made traditionally with so much choice of fillings. The coffee is excellent as well. Great choice for vegan, gluten free, dairy free, egg free, vegetarian. Couldn’t recommend enough! Arnold and the team are lovely!
Delicious, healthy food. Very helpful staff; I didn’t really know what I was ordering but they were very considerate so don’t be put off!
Veggie / gluten free options - mine was lovely! Get down get down get down
Last time me and the Mrs visited Brighton, this was the highlight of our trip as it was the first time she had been able to eat a pasty in over 10 years of being gluten-free.
Unfortunately since the gluten-free pastys are no longer fresh and prepackaged it's just not the same anymore.
What a great find! Really delicious food and lots of gluten free options. I had the home made hash browns with beans which was the perfect brunch I was looking for. Enjoyed every mouthful. Really reasonable prices. Will certainly be back
T@ The Dials is a quirky vegan and vegetarian café and coffee shop. It has lots of gluten-free options on their menu. They are coeliac friendly, preparing food in a separate area with separate equipment.
Really tasty food and really friendly staff! As a coeliac and vegetarian it’s great to have multiple options to choose from on a menu. We ate here for lunch on Saturday and came back to grab food to go before leaving Brighton on Sunday. I would recommend the falafel salad and the bolognaise (which my non vegetarian non gluten free boyfriend loved!)
The lady that runs this place is lovely and makes the best bread pudding. Is a cosy spot where one can unwind with a lovely cuppa and give a scratch to one's sugar cravings with a lot of local and homemade options. Nice to see some gluten free cakes. Will definitely recommend it. Coffe is also a good strength with a pleasant roast. Will certainly come back. Make sure you get there before noon to catch the breakfast menu.
Cosy place with lovely staff. The gluten-free toastie tasted incredible, definitely will come back! Also ordered matcha latte, which was nice + good range of alternative milks

Fantastic food, excellent service, great gluten free bagel as well. Ideal, can heartily recommend.
Is this the meanest establishment in Britain? They mixed up the order, but I cooperatively said I'd keep it if they could replace the roll with a gluten free one. The manager walked off with the wheat roll ( which I'd paid for) remarking that gluten free was extra. And did nothing. When I asked another member of staff, he told her to charge me £1.50 for upgrading a roll. Hospitality eh?
Popped in here for a quick breakfast as I was in a hurry. The server was really helpful and confirmed they could serve me quickly and also that they had gluten free bread. I ordered the mushrooms on toast which came with shavings of parmesan and micro coriander. It was possibly the best mushrooms on toast I've ever eaten. Beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and very, very tasty.
Will be back to try some more of their menu. Worth a visit and dog friendly.
13 of us booked Village after a couple of us ran the Marathon.
The restaurant was very busy but we were allocated a really nice spot at the end of the restaurant where we could all be together.
Even though the place was packed due to the Marathon, the service was excellent.
When the food arrived we could not have been happier - the roasts were DELICIOUS!
We had a gluten free vegan with us and they could not have been more accommodating. The nut roast was equally as good as the lamb / beef - superb!
We had a great meal and a top notch experience at Village.
Food was good. Had a gluten free cake and soya hot chocolate. Orange and cinnamon polenta cake was so tasty. Would recommend it.
Didn't find many food places that did soya milk in this location.
Service was a bit slow but apart from that all good. Would dine here again.
Found this quintessential Italian restaurant in George street whilst looking for a non chain coffee break. We received a warm greeting and chose a table outside for our coffee.
We saw that they catered for gluten free dietary requirements and asked to see the menu. The server introduced himself as Giuseppe( I’m assuming the owner) and was only too happy to discuss the menu and how it is produced. This made our decision to return later for lunch, reserving a table.
The food, atmosphere and staff are superb, friendly and good knowledge of the menu including the GF options. Another welcoming ‘must eat at ‘ venue if you have a GF diet or fancy authentic Italian cuisine with excellent quality food and reasonably priced. Will certainly visit again😎
