I cannot praise the Kraken enough. Last Saturday we brought a group of 23 girls and 4 adults to the Kraken. I had previously liaised with Becky who allowed us to pre-order. On the day Becky and her staff were amazing. The food arrived promptly and everything was delicious. Really great value too. One of our group is coeliac and her needs were catered for without any fuss. The pods were warm and cosy. Nothing was too much bother for Becky and her staff. Thoroughly recommend a visit : )
Right next door to the Ulister Hall, this chic and hip cafe is eye-catching and attention getting right from the outside glass windows to all the art walls. The service was great. The staff was friendly and the gluten-free scone, which we couldn't find anywhere else in all of Ireland, was delicious. It's baked fresh daily on-site and comes with jam and clotted cream.
I never normally leave a review for anywhere but I am obsessed with this place đ!For so many reasons, I am coeliac and have dined breakfast lunch brunch and dinner and the options are amazing and delicious. The staff are superb so so kind so knowledgeable and lovely girl even reassured me that they use separate everything to make my meal and hoped I wouldnât be worried ! I have been coeliac for 10 and a half years and never have I had so much reassurance from somewhere which is amazing as I feel so normal and relaxed which is rare when going out to eat with an allergy .The food is lovely so much choice which again is rare ! And itâs cheap what more could you want . This location is my favourite in Belfast as I have been to another one but the staff werenât the same couldnât recommend more â€ïž
This is my all time favorite for gluten free breakfast in Belfast. Their vegan gluten free fry is delicious and super filling. I have gluten and dairy allergies and this place caters for both, 10/10.
i said i was gluten intolerant from the moment i walked in, when i ordered my food and asked if the soup was gluten free it seemed majorly out of the servers way to do that for me, she said sheâd ask. She never came back, ordered the soup and fries i asked for, not letting me know if they were gluten free or not. had to ask a different server to go and check twice about the fries and soup, after they had arrived. I wasnât given the soup options it was chosen for me, again not knowing at this point if it was gluten free. I didnât feel that welcome by who was serving me and iâm pretty sure i was over charged. Everyone else lovely and lovely cafe but i didnât enjoy my time there.
Lovely breakfast, we were not rushed! We were sitting and chatting long enough to allow us cake and coffee to follow. Gluten Free option very impressive .
I used to love this place but now it's off my favourites in Lisburn. They offer gluten free bread but fillings are very limited. They charge you extra for additional fillings even when you have to swap because it's not gluten free. They used to have many gluten and dairy free options not any more. Everyone loves to accommodate vegans but not people with actual dietary problems.
If youâre in Belfast, you must stop by the Great Northern Mall and pop in to this absolute gem of a place. We were already excited to hear Nica Nica did gluten free cannolis and croissants. Even so, the food absolutely blew us away. I had a caramel hazelnut croissant with a pistachio coffee and it was incredible. A really welcoming atmosphere, and if you love food, you will find yourself in good company.
My favourite cafe in Lisburn by far! So much choice on the menu. Everything is made fresh and so many healthy and gluten free options which is a bonus! Coffee is the best ive had in Lisburn too. The staff are all so lovely and helpful. A hidden gem.
This was such a great find in this beautiful Irish town. I am Celiac and had no trouble eating here. They were aware of the necessary precautions and even used separate gloves and stations. I had the bacon, goat cheese toastie with the jalapeño chutney and their house-made slaw. I ate every bite because it was so delicious. I also go the gf chocolate caramel bar and a vanilla matcha latte.
Shared a meal with my daughter who is gluten and dairy intolerant. Staff very helpful and well prepped with a separate menu created by the chef who himself is gluten intolerant. I had the penne pasta chilli chicken which was beautiful and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her gluten free burger and chips. Now at the top of our list to visit when we meet up.
I absolutely love Time Coffee House. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is so warm and relaxed.
And the food... OH MY LIFE!!
They have an amazing gluten free menu with plenty of options (which is difficult to find!!)
10/10 all round. đ
Amazing! Gorgeous country house, white. Beautiful food, big helpings, staff friendly. I got a rose latte! Tasted like a bed of roses. Great gluten free options, I got halloumi stack with lots of halloumi. Delightful place
The most delightful cafe with some outdoor seating in shade. Lovely coffee and the moat delicious banana bread ever. And it's gluten free ! Fast service.
Gluten Free Fish & Chips 12/10
Thank you SO much! Itâs incredibly difficult to find a chip shop that will cater for coeliac, Jimmyâs had so many options this evening
Great selection of delicious, gluten free goodies. I'm not following a gluten free diet but still really enjoyed the buns however they were slightly dry and crumbly compared to my favorite regularly baked goodies. Great, friendly and helpful service from the server. Mainly a take out however there are a couple of tables.
It's highly recommended if you're traveling, as the kitchen is open almost all day. It has a considerable amount of vegetarian and gluten-free food, which is appreciated.
Lovely quaint place away from the madding crowd. Very pretty and relaxing inside and food good. Please consider more vegetarian and gluten free options to choose and written on the menu.:)
Warm and friendly atmosphere with excellent and caring service. We had the gluten free fish and chips along with the gluten free sticky toffee pudding! It was absolutely delicious! Thank you for your attentiveness, hospitality and outstanding food!
Excellent place with great atmosphere, service and food. They were very welcoming to me and my dog. Good gluten free options on menu and they even have a doggy menu!
Darling spot. Was so happy to find out that there were loads of gluten free options as the lady that runs the place has coeliac. They werenât labeled but staff were very clued in and there were great protocols for separate utensils, gf only on top shelf of the display case, etc. Really enjoyed my hot cocoa and apple crumble and would come again! Thank you!
Just had a lunch with friends for my husbandâs birthday. The service was good and good choice on the menu, including gluten free for me. Highly recommend.
The Cheeky cherub is safe enough for you to go there alone and the staff is nice and kind and the panini and toastie and salads and scones and sandwiches and bagel and apple pie and soft drinks are good and yummy and gluten free and the cheeky cherub Got a platter of sandwiches today 10 out of 10 for their value and 10 out of 10 for the amount of choice of fillings and 10 out of 10 for their freshness and 10 out of 10 for their service and We will definitely get them again and the Cheeky cherub is very very very beautiful
If you're in belfast you have to go to maggie mays for lunch, they have 3 locations with the nicest staff and best food. A wide variety of vegetarian, vegan and also gluten free food is provided. Definitely one of Belfast's most iconic cafes. They provide a range of food so there will definitely be something for everyone!
Really enjoy eating at Bob and Berts.
I'm gluten free and always get food to suit my needs.
Also good to meet up and spend some time with friends in a very nice carefree atmosphere.
Wow, what a hidden gem. When i pulled into a leisure center, I almost drove off! Had a great gluten-free fry. With great care given. Wonderful view. Professional friendly staff. I would highly recommend it.

Was treated to a lovely birthday lunch here by my daughter. They were able to make my sandwich with gluten free bread. It was delicious. Would recommend a visit.
