Extremely good vegan and gluten free desserts. The Samoa oatbar is a 10/10 and if it ever disappears I'll likely not survive without it. Its so good, some weeks I get it multiples times! Very friendly customer service too.
So good! American vegan food blows my mind. I loved the macaroni salad, crispy tofu roll, gluten free cake cup and am excited to try the brownie tomorrow.
I absolutely love this place. I’m gluten free and they always have GF choices. They have the best zappoles and cream puffs. Really everything is fantastic. Owners and help great people. They are an asset to our town. Thank you Beach Rose Cafe.
I love this place…. they were one of the first restaurants to get on-board with having gluten-free options several years ago. Prices are a little high, but all prices are a little high. I love all the artwork they have displayed everywhere. I definitely recommend this place. ❤️
Everything was good except for the grilled octopus which I sent back because you couldn't even chew it. Second time was better but still just ok. But the standout here was the gluten-free lamb poutine, everyone loved that!
I ordered gluten free cupcakes online and when I went to pick them up The waitress wants To ask me if I can order the cupcakes from wildflower next time because they get them from there and they don’t have a lot in stock (keep that to yourself that’s not my business or problem). I find that to be rude extremely unprofessional don’t put them on the website for to go orders if that’s not the case it was a little bit embarrassing. Why would she even say that to me? I was expecting just to pick up my to go order and thank you. Have a nice day.
I’m not even from Rhode Island. I’m a uber driver and I drove someone from Boston to Pawtucket and googled where to get vegan food. The greeting I received It was inappropriate, however, their food and their atmosphere is absolutely delicious.
This is a favourite of mine for after kayaking. I avoid gluten and dairy, so I am quiet pleased with the selection of gluten-free vegan muffins. Great coffee too!
I’ve probably been here about 5 times so far, where I’ve had food twice, and came for the bar once.
This is a vegan place, and is a must to visit for people with allergies/intolerances with a wide menu of gluten free items. I came with a person with gluten intolerance and I’m lactose intolerance and it was nice to not have to choose items super carefully.
It’s very refreshing to have a place in the neighborhood that’s got a wonderful cafe vibe and transforms into a bar at night. They have wonderful speciality cafe drinks as well as alcoholic drinks at night.
As a bonus, they support local artists in the area. They have a little section of the store with greenery items and one with candles, earrings, and other misc goods from artists.
Incredibly nice people and such a great gluten free menu! I got the Ultimate Grinder and their gluten free clam chowder. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten. They even had gluten free cookies available but opted for the bowl of chowder instead. We also order the regular Ultimate Grinder which also looked incredible
I don't often write reviews but this cafe is fantastic. Such an aesthetic and gorgeous place, the food is EXCELLENT and so happy they had gluten-free breads/wraps. They made sure our orders were perfect and I would like to go back there every day!
My partner who has celiac disease once spoke with the owner and either their partner or a family member also has celiacs. According to my partner the ham and Asiago scone is amazing, as are the muffins and Portuguese rolls for breakfast sandwiches are chefs kiss. We have also ordered gluten free cakes from them for holidays and people who don’t eat GF said they were amazing and they couldn’t tell they were GF.
Great gluten free options. (May I suggest the "plain jane" on gf bagel... Sausage, egg and cheese) However, there's nothing plain about it... hot, fresh, made to order and flavorful. They also have Sprinkle gf cookies, and more. Grabbed an everyrjing bagel with salmon and lox to go too for a family member... they loved it!!!Menu is extensive. Large variety of flavored-in-the-bean coffees, both hot and iced..... flavor shots add ins. And much more. Parking is easy but fills up fast, especially on a weekend!! Staff is friendly. Sign up for their rewards to earn points!! Spacious inside with plenty of seating.
These jerks charge 12$ extra now for the raspberry sauce for the gluten free chocolate cake. That sauce used to come WITH the cake. They also used to include whipped cream but not anymore! This business is SO GREEDY I cannot believe it. Awful I’m never coming back. I begged the worker to give me a tiny bit of the sauce and she caved fortunately, but that’s so bad of them to not include everything anymore.
Service was fine, not bad. We were probably both a little sleepy. I hadn’t had any coffee yet. Atmosphere was cute. I love that they had matcha and gluten free options for my daughter, who wasn’t with me but I’m always looking for yummy places to bring her.
The EMT is just that, loaded with cream cheese, bacon, and tomato. Exactly that and that’s ok. It’s got a ton of great reviews but in my opinion it could use less cream cheese and add an egg. I don’t give negative reviews because I don’t like the way something tastes since everyone has their own opinions on that.
However, when I received the Loaded Avocado Toast which description includes and an egg and I just got a few egg crumbles that’s just not right. The name and description suggest there will be at least a full egg. It was loaded with chunks of onion. That’s about it. There was more onion than egg. The avocado spread was a sliver of on each side. I should have taken a picture but I was hungry, so I came home, took off the onions, added some hot sauce.
I will give it another try. Obviously I ordered the wrong things for my taste-buds. I will build my sandwich next time. I wish they had sugar in the raw as a sweetener. I will bring my to review the gluten free bread and matcha. The sweets looked good, but I was just trying to get my protein in and that didn’t happen.
Great place for breakfast and lunch! I love that they offer gluten free bread and wraps as well as some premade gluten free snacks. My favorite part is being to get a breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread! It makes my whole day. Staff is very patient when asking about ingredients in their sandwiches. I don't drink coffee, so I can't review that part.

Alma’s delivers on taste and satiation every time! Each item on their menu is specially curated with unique flavors, and their retail section contains gourmet pantry items, great for yourself or a gift! Many of their offerings are gluten free and they have several vegan options which keep me coming back! Their Sprout and Tofu Bhan Mi are personal favorites, along with the Carmelita for dessert 🤤
Employees are always super friendly and kind. Ice cream is the best on the island in my opinion. Food is amazing. Always has a lot of gluten free options even in baked goods! 10/10 would recommend.
Stopped here late on a Saturday afternoon and there was still a very good selection of desserts. I got the blueberry lemon bomb, blackberry and champagne gluten free cupcakes. The blueberry bomb was incredible and worth the high price of $10. I was less impressed with the blackberry cupcake as it was a little dry and the frosting not very sweet. The champagne cupcake was a pleasant surprise as some of the GF stuff I’ve got in the past (other bakeries) just weren’t good. This cupcake was super moist and flavorful. Will definitely be returning here for more delectable goodies!
I tried the gluten-free sweet potato tofu scramble wrap. It was okay. The tofu was seasoned, which is good, but the flavors in the wrap were conflicting. I think they could go all in on the seasoning and turn it into a delicious Indian or Thai style curry wrap. Otherwise, they could substitute tofu with Just Egg and make an American breakfast wrap. In its current state, the wrap is in flavor purgatory!
The blood orange hibiscus tea was fine. I would steep it a little longer but that's a personal preference.
So glad I checked this place out! New to area and will definitely be back in for another delicious latte and the food was so fresh and reasonably priced. If they get a gluten free bread option (I don't think I saw one but not sure) I will definitely be trying the whole menu. Love a good local business ran by nice people.
Amazing gem hidden in Coventry! I've been here 3 times. One time before I transitioned to a gf vegan and the food flights were phenomenal we loved the guacamole and margaritas flight. The following 2 times I dined as a gf vegan and the options they have are amazing. I had the vegan flight with waffle fries, taco, and burger (all gf) with a cinna-coco maple glaze iced espresso with oat milk 🥹🥴🤤. Third time I came back for the Cinna-coco 😍 and figured I'd try gf vegan breakfast. Ordered the vegan gf sausage egg and chez. Fahhh nommm . Com . Thank you all for always knocking it out of the park 💙 Clearly highly recommend & highlight this is a great place for friends and families looking for a restaurant catering to meat lovers, vegan and gluten free.
Best coffee in the East Bay, vegan and gluten free options.

I have only ever had take-out procured by someone else so I can't speak to the atmosphere. What I can tell you is that the food is PHENOMENAL. The french fries are so crispy and delicious and the portion is HUGE. I'm a fry fiend and one order can be shared amongst at least 3 people. The BLTA is delicious -- bacon is crunchy, veggies are fresh, and the guac has a little spicy kick. I love that I can get a yummy gluten free sandwich which is somewhat of a novelty. Highly recommend!
Iced mocha latte will knock your socks off! Oh, and... they often have yummy gluten free pastries or donuts.
This was a fun place to go with friends. They had some gluten free options, which was nice. I didn't see a lot of GF on the menu, but I could have missed something. Great coffee shop!
This place is a hidden gem! It’s spotless and has a cool, modern vibe. Our family had an amazing time. The servers were super friendly and greeted us right away with a smile. The menu was huge, like a fresh take on breakfast! I was surprised to see how many unique, specially made menu options they had (including gluten free options) that I haven’t seen anywhere else in town. (It took me a while to decide!) The portions were huge, and the smoothie and coffee selection was incredible! The waitress was attentive and kept our coffees fresh. At the end of our meal, the manager came over to chat with us about our experience. We’ll definitely be back to Rachel’s Cafe this summer because it’s a great place to fill our belly’s directly on the way to our favorite beach!
I’ve been a member of the wine club for almost a year. Great monthly wine choices, great atmosphere! When I have been there for lunch, great gluten-free (I’m non-celiac) options!
So it pains me to leave this review because my first experience with this restaurant was such a great experience and the waitress was great, but be that as it may this last experience was with my family and the waitress we had was terrible and brought the general manager in to the issue. The first time i was given the option for gluten free fries I am not deeply affected by gluten but have a slight intolerance she was very attentive and made sure my first experience there was a very good one. This last time the waitress was not very attentive and even had an attitude while taking my order as if she had better things to do than be there saying there are no gluten free options even to the point of telling me I don't know who told you that but we don't have gluten free fries here not once checking with the kitchen after some time she came to the table and asked if I was ordering anything the family asked for more water and she skipped over my glass filled everyone else's and walked away from my empty cup then refused to come back to our table to even bring us the check I have never experienced such behavior from a server and it actually saddens me because the food is actually pretty good one of the best I've been to in my area
Good coffee, food is not safe for those with celiacs. I got very sick here due to a lack of allergy training in the staff. The manager was lovely and refunded my card and handled it appropriately, but I wouldn’t risk it.
If you’re not someone with allergies, the food is very good and reasonably priced
My niece and I came to try the matcha latte and she got herself a chocolate croissant. I have a gluten allergy, so there weren't any options I felt comfortable eating. But I really appreciated that the barista cleaned all the equipment before making my latte. My niece really enjoyed her chocolate croissant, it looked magnificent. The vibes were also immaculate, it really felt like a European cafe. We'll be back!
I love this market! It has a gluten-free snack section and so many fresh and delicious choices. I picked up a RTG salad that was next level! It had burratta avocado, and I added chicken for more protein.very fresh ingredients hubby had a fabulous turkey sandwich with truffle potatoe chips
Located right across the street from the ferry dock, so many options from coffee, teas, lattes, bubble tea, gluten free pastries too! Did not have any of their breakfast & lunch sandwiches but they sound great.
