Always a lovely evening on the patio overlooking False Creek. The food and service is great and my partner who has celiac disease never has a reaction. Thanks to Danielle and team for a great meal!
Pricey, but worth every penny. Every dish my partner and I ordered was chef's kiss. One of us is celiac and the waiter was very friendly and accommodating about the choices available.
This is one of the best places to go for seafood in Vancouver and we will continue to visit on special occasions. Please don't change anything.
Had a lovely dinner for my friend’s birthday. Booking with OpenTable was easy and we chose the Granville Island location as parking is relatively easy, compared to Dntn.
The food and flavours were good and the service was wonderful. The hostess double checked our seating request and offered us an alternate seat upstairs, by a window - it was amazing to enjoy the sunshine during our meal.
Our Waiter was also friendly, and knowledgeable, with good recommendations. My friend is gluten-free and our Waiter made sure our orders were compliant… The food rolled out at a good pace and our Waiter checked in on us the perfect level. We were very happy with our Waiter.
We shared the Shrimp Cocktail, Scallops + Bacon and the Crème Brûlée. We both had the French Onion Ribeye from the Keg 50 menu. My side was the Iceberg Wedge with Blue Cheese dressing - it’s my favourite!!! We both enjoyed our meal and experience.
We’ll be back and highly recommend.
can cater for coeliac / celiacs! their soft shell tacos are gluten free. the person who served me was knowledgeable about cross contact risk - they can heat up the tortillas in the microwave to avoid the grill where gluten ingredients are used, and know to change their gloves. I had the chicken tacos which were really tasty
I always have a great time at Dockside. Our family of three had some items from the HH menu and a dine out set. We had the salmon main, which was intricately prepared and would have taken me over 3 hours to make myself. The salmon was moist inside and seared with a perfect crust that stayed crunchy even when slathered with a pesto sauce. It was accompanied by a thick wedge of butter braised cabbage, parsnip puree, parsnip chips, miso butter and an apple slaw. So many components and each one perfect! The gluten free mushroom ‘calamari’ came with a refreshing yogurt tzatziki with a delightful, fresh cucumber aroma. Every dish had something delightful about it! The pizzas had a chewy, crispy crust that tasted from scratch. They certainly don’t serve frozen pizzas at Dockside! The Caesar salad dressing also tasted from scratch and featured a piquant, raw garlic tang that I am craving to taste again. They have the most amazing salads! Even a basic salad features fresh ingredients, thoughtfully composed. The chocolate mousse dessert was so rich and creamy, I was deep in chocolate bliss. I feel like the chef was the A+ student at culinary school who always gave 150% 🤣. And if the food was not wonderful enough, the gorgeous Vancouver water view lifts my spirits no matter the weather, especially at dusk. The rare restaurant with both good food and great views! Reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
Came here yesterday for a meal. The oysters were great. Our entrees were just okay. I got the lobster roll and found it to be a bit dry. My mom got the chick pea hummus salad and didnt love it. The view was beautiful. Our service was just okay. Our server didnt go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with the gluten free options. We wouldnt come here again.

This was such a treat for our family! It was the first bakery where our daughter on a gluten free diet could choose anything in the case. There were so many fun flavors to choose from and we liked all we tried.

Great spot a little outside of the busy-ness but still central. Great midday sun from the patio to stop for a gluten free sandwich and Granville Island pint. Yes please.
