Purchased a carrot cake muffin. Hubby says it's delicious work lots of nuts. Cream cheese icing.
Purchased a rectangle piece of gluten-free pizza. About 6" by 5" for about $5. It was very delicious with a little bit of spiciness. The crust was made with rice flour, and was quite heavy with oil.
The staff was lovely, the space was cute, the food was DELICIOUS!
They have a number of different options for dietary restrictions, which is great. Vegan, dairy free, and gluten free.
They are NOT however wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair user on their own would struggle to get into the slightly uneven seating area and would have to have the staff come outside to take their money as the window is up on a small porch area. Or being there with an able bodied person allows them to pay, which works for my husband and I, thus no knock on the review.
Would definitely go again if in the area!
Staff are nice, they're petty quick and overall the food is fresh and good. Its a casual vibe, nothing fancy but reliably yummy and easy.
Also, it is very celiac friendly, almost every item and topping is gluten free only with a couple exceptions.
I was hesitant to believe that any place with 5.0 stars was legit — but they are.
It’s all takeout — it looks like they just borrow a kitchen from a local community center and you order online and pick up through a side door. Nothing fancy about this place.
But the owner who took my order was cheerful, enthusiastic and answered all questions and knew exactly what was gluten-free and what wasn’t.
We ordered a lamb shank, baba ganoush and falafel and everything was ready in ten minutes.
My husband “hates lamb,” so when I got it home and he dug in, said “this beef is excellent,” and asked what cut it was, he was pretty surprised to find out that he actually really likes lamb when it’s done right!
This place is new so eventually they’ll get a rating under 5 stars from somewhere, but for now, their record stands!
Hidden gem for gluten free people. Everything we tried was delicious: kebab lamb and falafel, Greek salad, hummus, lemon potatoes, rice 😋 Gluten free dishes are marked white in the photos below. Friendly service and not crowded space 💯
Had the Paisa King plate, and it was indeed kingly. The plantain arepa was also awesome, as was the coffee. Some real authentic business, 10/10, and the arepas are gluten-free.
Delicious breakfast food from a food truck permanently stationed in Cook Street Village in a space with other food trucks. We've had hash twice and it's AMAZING. I'd like to try the smoothie bowls. Good gluten free and vegetarian options. Staff are friendly and funny.
