If you have celiac disease I do not recommend you eat here.
To the owner, please review celiac and cross contamination with your staff and double check ingredients/labeling/storage/prep areas. My partner was glutened last night after the staff member assured him both the fish and chips and onion rings were gluten free and cooked in a dedicated fryer. He isn’t the only one that’s had an issue here either so something isn’t right. We know he takes a risk every time he eats out but please review your protocols.
We had heard such good reviews from other celiacs and sadly he was super sick because of it. Food was delicious but not safe!
First time dining at Rustica - awesome experience. Our party of 5 sat on their beautiful patio, decked out with plants and flowers. Our server Thomas was fantastic. Very knowledgeable with all our questions and made great recommendations. Everything was incredibly tasty, highly recommend the sweet chili nduja pizza and cacio e pepe! One celiac in the family loved the gluten free gnocchi, too. Will definitely return next time in Orillia. Thanks, Thomas!!
We happen to walk into Shine looking for something quick to eat for lunch !! What we did not expect was to have a truly delicious meal!! I have celiac disease and my partner walked in there to see what they had! this is a plant based restaurant and we didn’t know!! I had the Tuscan sandwich which from the first bite to the last was an explosion of flavour! My partner had what was called a dirty burger which he said was delicious!! We both had the potato wedges which were delicious!! Top off with a refreshing glass of lemonade! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is vegetarian vegan or has celiac or who is just gluten free you will not be disappointed!! We definitely will be back !!
I had a very positive experience at Mariposa, I have food allergies and so I ask questions, Kris the shop keeper who helped me was very helpful and kind. I was looking for gluten and dairy free butter tarts but they don't sell them, I did get a great loaf of bread and a dessert cake for my wife's birthday. Just an over all great experience. Thanks Kris, and Mariposa.
We went in looking for gluten free or friendly baked good but they only had one, which was mediocre in taste. We were able to buy pastries for our friends, which looked delicious.
Kids love it here! All you can eat salad and bread is always nice. Arman was an excellent server. He was attentive and friendly. There was a slight mix up and he was quick to fix it. Appreciated the gluten free options.

I was at state and main with my doughter and her baby was sever by Isaiah Who is a wonderful waiter always smiling he has served us before. I’ve always been pleased at this state in Maine because it’s clean it’s friendly and the food is delicious and I have gluten-free and they are accommodate me special. Thanks to Isaiah Mary.

First of all our waitress, Laurie, was so kind and lovely. She really made our visit so much more warm and enjoyable. I ordered the gluten free tropical chicken pizza, I’ve had it at other locations and found the chicken on this one to be a little greasier than others, but it was still excellent. By the end of the meal, we had them sing happy birthday and deliver a cake to our friend, and Laurie really made this feel special. She was so sweet and made the event feel more personal.
Otherwise, worth noting that we found the restaurant to have a very significant smell when walking in. It seemed like a chemical smell mixed with a dirty towel/carpet smell. Overall we were able to look past it and enjoy our time but it was certainly worth noting.
We went there on a road trip my husband is gluten and lactose intolerant. they were so helpful and carefull . The waitress/manager recommended the Burger and the gluten free bun was to die for... I am not gluten free but I also ate it to try ...everyone needs to get these buns!!!
Clean environment. Pre-ordered and ready. I had to wait for 7-8 minutes at cash. Unfortunately no acknowledgement I was there. 2 girls at front should greet when people come in. My husband's Pizza was loaded with toppings (Canadian). My Veg gluten free pizza was cooked well but really lacked on toppings. Peppers, tomatoes, olives and mushrooms. (maybe 1 piece of each on 6 slices) The onions were plentiful. Otherwise no issues and I do enjoy your gf crust better than anywhere else.
Knowledge about gluten free Wich is so appreciated, yummy classic breakfast!

Absolutely amazing cookies!!! And what a fabulous shop! Super friendly, helpful and the owners have created a fantastic atmosphere. They even have gluten friendly items - so great!

What a great experience! The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful when navigating allergies with the menu. We booked the private room for 16 of us for my Moms 70th surprise birthday brunch party. Everything was perfect! The rest of the family was settled before the birthday girl arrived. Vaughn greeted my parents, husband, brother, sister in law and I at the entry. He played a perfect role and said our table was booked in the next room. Door opens and Surprise! My Mom was thrilled. Ashley and Vaughn took great care of the entire group, the room, food including gluten free options, specialty coffees and brunch margaritas were fabulous. Thank you so much to Fare, Vaughn and Ashley !
Some food is labeled as Gluten free, but is not. They use a shared fryer. Just a heads-up for those with Celiac or other gluten-related health issues.
Also, it took 45 mins for chicken quesadillas for take out

As a gluten intolerant person I was very pleased with my first experience at Chick -fil-A . The team member Sydney was very helpful and very sweet. I greatly appreciate her help and knowledge on celiac/ gluten problems and hope get her again next time I go ! My grill chicken club on lettuce was tasteful and the sauce with it oh my !
I definitely recommend.
I ordered 3 pizzas, onion rings and sweet potato fries using their website for a pickup order. One of the pizzas was gluten free and the other was completely vegan so the custom order was complicated. They got everything perfect. The vegan pizza was wonderful. Their dairy-free cheese, beyond meat chorizo and plant based pepperoni toppings were delicious. I've visited pizza pizza in many different locations in Ontario and this spot is recommendable. 🍕👍
Wow! That was the fastest A&W service I have ever had. Incredible!!!! Staff were accommodating with gluten-free needs of a lettuce wrap. Delicious and VERY fast service. Hats off!
Gluten friendly and amazing staff. Always feel so comfortable and the food is amazing. Love travelling for work just because I can go to this restaurant and talk with the incredible staff. Try the grape and olive salad. It's so amazing.
Came to your buffet last night for the first time. I was amazed at all the food. Your Chef even took the time to show my wife all the gluten free items she could have. I tried your pasta station which was absolutely amazing and the lady doing the pasta was so delightful took the time to ask me how my day was and wished us luck if we were playing slots and to have fun above all . I will be back .
Mucho Burrito has been a lovely place to access gluten free options! The food is always fresh, and Nick has been accommodating and welcoming every visit. I highly recommend grabbing a quick and healthy meal here!
Had an amazing lunch a yummy Reuben on a pretzel bun and the Cajun chicken on a toasted gluten free bun. Service was excellent and food delicious. Highly recommend!!
Delicious breakfast and loved the gluten free potato cheese waffle which comes with the eggs and bacon. Fresh fruit on the side. Bacon that taste fresh. Eggs cooked well . So fresh in decor and menu. Busy and limited seating.

I’ve been here twice while visiting Orillia. I have some newly discovered dietary restrictions (gluten, dairy) so since then eating out has been a bit of a chore- especially since I’m still learning all of the sneaky things that contain gluten.
Both times I’ve been here I asked the staff for assistance and they have been super helpful in recommending dishes that meet my requirements, as well as offer substitute suggestions. The food tastes great and is faster than a lot of fast food places. I will be making a point of trying to stop in whenever I’m in town and need some lunch.
