Concept is nice but very poorly executed, no actual Hechsher only basic vegan/parve certificate. (Beware if you are shomer!) Dollar general ingredients and trader Joe's falafel quality. A bit overpriced and tastes nothing like israeli food. Nice place to chill tho . No gluten free pita!!!!

To preface, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease close to 20 years ago when I was 5 years old. I'm used to my options being limited or nonexistent when I go out to eat with friends, especially when it comes to Korean food. (Curse you soy sauce!!!) Also to preface, my friends and I were in town for the StrayKids concert yesterday. The entire day of the concert, all I'd had to eat was a packet of microwave 90 second rice, and a couple protein bars that I had packed ahead of time in my suitcase just in case. Needless to say, I was starving and in desperate need of some good food when we got going this morning. A search entry for "gf food near me" in Google maps popped up with a few options near the hotel we were staying at including SeoulSpice. When I saw it was Korean food I was expecting maybe a couple things that could be modified to make them somewhat safe. Boy was I wrong. πŸ˜† When I tell you I audibly gasped and startled my friends when I saw the words, "100% Gluten Free" on the website, I'm not lying. And the food? Did NOT disappoint. πŸ™Œ I got a little bit of basically everything in my bowl and Debbie piled it so high the lid barely fit on the take out container. And its not just the portion sizes about SeoulSpice that are incredibly large, their hearts are too. When I told Debbie how long I'd been gluten free, and that I was unaccustomed to having options out and about so was very overwhelmed, she walked me through every ingredient and option behind the counter and offered suggestions about some of her favorite combos, too. Also! Because we were the only ones there (we got there right when they opened) Debbie let me try each of the sauces so I could make a more informed decision for my bowl topping and pointed out when I was checking out that there were also Gluten-free cookies like chocolate chip and red velvet (which was so good by the way). The only thing I would say needs improvement is the door is incredibly heavy. 🀣 Careful not to throw your back out trying to get in the door to reach the food that tastes like the mana of the gods and kind, understanding faces like Debbie that reside within. The breakdown! The prices: 10/10 -Reasonable and affordable The food: 100/10 -Huge portions and Delicious! The people: 1000/10 -Incredibly kind and helpful Thank you, for the delicious food and for helping me feel accepted for who I was and what I live and struggle with everyday. Basically... Thank you for helping me feel normal, Debbie and the SeoulSpice crew. When I'm back in town this way be assured I will come back as frequently as I can during my stay . I hope y'all have a nice day! And I hope everyone who reads this gives them a try. They're worth it.😊

Absolutely recommend this place!! The cashier (Chris) was soo kind and helped me decide what to get. Got the grandezza and it was DELICIOUS!! They had TWO options for gluten free (bread & bagel) which is stellar. The staff were having a great time and catering to guests needs - which created such a fun atmosphere! Lots of laughter and smiles which we love to see. Will definitely be back to try more!!

The must visit bagel/coffee place in Georgetown! From Food, service, atmosphere, this place deserves 5 stars. They have many breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches even gluten free options. I tried the mountain view on a maple salt & pepper bagel it was delicious! The bagel was so chewy, eggs were fluffy and lakes were crispy and salty & sweet bagel just made your morning happy! (Original serve in plain bagel so ask for maple salt& pepper bagel) If you are chocolate lover, try the chocolate babka muffin. Freshly baked and it has layers unlike regular muffin with chocolate swirls. I also tried the signature maple french Toast latte and it is not too sweet and not too hot just perfect combination of coffee with touch of maple taste. you should definitely try! Special shout out to Michael who is the best!!! He was so kind, friendly and helpful. He definitely made my morning even brighter:) Such a cute pink house you can’t miss it!

Overall, it's okay. The premise is that you realize that this is a bar and not a pure restaurant. Evaluate the food with 4 stars based on bar standards and 3 stars with restaurant standards. Business was very good. There were still many empty seats when I took my seat at 16:55. By 6 o'clock, it was full and people started queuing up. The environment is very good, but there are two problems. First, the music is too loud, which somewhat affects the dining experience; second, there are a lot of fine dust floating in the air, which is very conspicuous in the sun. Taking advantage of happy hours, I ordered a dirty martini. Between vodka and gin, I chose the gin, which was average and not very tasty. Gambas al Ajillo garlic shrimp is not delicious, not very fresh, has a fishy smell of quick-frozen shrimp, is not processed very well, and is far inferior to Jaleo's garlic shrimp. Roasted pork belly is crispy and charred in the mouth and delicious, and the aroma of fat is fully brought out, but it feels too greasy as you eat it, and the layer of aji amarillo sauce underneath can't relieve the greasiness. Flank steak is also delicious, but sometimes the burnt parts are a bit bitter. Eggplant caponata is very cool and soothing, and goes well with greasy pork belly. Jamon Serrano ham is very delicious, delicious and refreshing. Bread is free and tastes average. It's okay to dip it in olive oil. The grilled octopus still tastes like Chinese gluten, which is not delicious. Finally, I want to complain about the price: tapas in Spain focus on cost-effectiveness and affordability, but in the United States, the price is several times higher. Paying a lot of money to eat a small dish, to some extent, loses the original fun of tapas. Japanese restaurants in the United States, especially izakayas, also have similar problems. All things considered, it's worth revisiting occasionally. 2023/9/15

My friends and I were pleasantly surprised by a number of things at this establishment. First, it should be noted we had a party of three with one vegetarian, a pescatarian, and a person with a gluten allergy. We were seated almost instantly despite it looking very busy, by the main manager no less, and immediately asked about allergies. The manager himself then marked a menu (they use paper menus) for every item that could be made on the Gluten Free Fire and or made with gluten free substitutions. That's right, this location has a SEPARATE grill/fire for gluten free items. They also have, as far as I am aware, the only non alcoholic wine flight in entire northeast DC area. And though they were sold out of the flight, we were able to order one of the non alcoholic wines for the table and it was quite delicious. All but one item was brought out quickly despite the crowd. All the food was perfection. They also gave us separate plates and cutlery for sharing to ensure the gluten free items stayed gluten free. However, just a heads up to those who have hearing difficulties, this space is very loud. And it's a low lighting environment, relying entirely on candles at the table, so if you have difficulty with low light, please make sure you have a flashlight on your phone. Also, the candles are real. Don't light yourself on fire.
