Great selection of gluten free treats. I was thrilled how much care the server took and my meal even had a little toothpick that said gluten free. So reassuring!
Having someone close to me have celiac makes finding food difficult at times, but we always can go to 110 because of how amazing they are with dietary caution. They will make any dish edible for any allergy. Fantastic service and delicious food. The interior and outdoor seating are both beautiful too.
The Mrs. is gluten free and the 110 Grill had the most extensive gluten free she's ever seen. She had the BBQ chicken flatbread, and I enjoyed the hot honey chicken sandwich with brussel sprouts. Everything was fantastic. IMHO it took a little too much time to get seated (there were plenty of open tables), but once seated the service was excellent. Would recommend.
I was part of a group of 14 yesterday who stopped here for lunch on the way home from Boston. I can't say enough good about out experience. Everyone was happy,as there were more than enough choices to satify everyone. The restaurant was very attentive to dietary needs. ie gluten free, allergies etc. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was very personable and prompt. We were pleasantly surprised as everything came out of the kitchen as ordered and all pretty much at the same time. The food was very good, as was the presentation. Our waitress kept our beverage glasses full. We are all planning out next visit, as this one was so good.
Dined with the family at 110 Grill in Fall River, MA yesterday. They take celiac gluten-free seriously and any dish can be made gluten-free. No gluten ever goes in their fryer. They're a chain all over MA and RI with some NY locations upstate.
We opted to dine indoors. Huge location with an open kitchen. Staff very friendly, attentive and keen to please especially with dietary restrictions.
Ordered burgers, firecracker shrimp, calamari, sweet potato fries, Brussels sprouts and some Oreo ice cream dessert.
Private free parking lot at the mall. Like nearly every restaurant in RI and MA, they've got a loyalty program. Scored a free huge dessert plus $10 off reward.
Loved the burger and fries. Sprouts were too salty. Everyone enjoyed their time here. No one rushed us out on a Saturday evening.
What a nightmare I experienced last Friday.
For a place that stands for allergy safety-they failed miserably.
I got a clam chowder, and the older gentlemen who I’m guessing was a manager served me crackers with my chowder with an allergy pick that what removed the gluten!! Unacceptable-we won’t be back. 110 you failed us.
I must say though our servers very sweet, accommodating, and it was not her fault.
110 do better, train better.
Amazing food especially if you have a gluten allergy. Isaiah was our server and he was so great. Attentive and friendly! Love our experience every time we come!
Excellent experience! Friendly and attentive service, fresh and delicious food, and many gluten free options (separate menu, including wonderful dessert, and dedicated GF frier), including kids friendly items.
I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at the 110 Grill, and the experience was fantastic. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially considering our group included three people with unique allergies. We really appreciated the extensive gluten-free menu, which is perfect for those who need gluten-free options but still want variety. My only suggestion would be to offer a dairy-free cheese alternative for guests who are both gluten and dairy-free, though I don’t hold this against them.
There was one mistake with a dish, but the kitchen quickly fixed it by remaking it.
I ordered the Ribeye, and while I expected a thicker cut, it was surprisingly thin. That was on me for not realizing it was only 14 oz, but I would love to see a thicker cut option available, even at a higher price point. Considering the Ribeye is just $2 more than the NY strip, I’d gladly pay an extra $10 for a more substantial cut.
TLDR; quiet neighborhood, nice views, outdoor seating, highly celiac friendly
This restaurant is ironically set back off of route 9 in a plaza that seems to be otherwise vacant. Fortunately, the vacancy means there’s quite a bit of vegetation overgrowth. The views from the patio here are surprisingly lush and because of the plaza vacancy it is fairly quiet.
My celiac friend had a wonderful time as their menu caters heavily to gluten-free options that are actually edible! We got a burger and fries accompanied by chicken tenders and fries. Both were delicious and her meal didn’t taste gluten free but based on her lack of illness afterwards, it was definitely gluten free. We’re very happy this place exists and highly recommend checking it out!
Also, Dave our waiter was awesome and helped us very quickly move indoors when it began to rain. We are very appreciative of Dave.
They immediately offered their Gluten-free menu when we walked it. Massive selection of Gluten-free items. My bacon cheeseburger on a GF bun and GF safe fries were exactly what I needed after a long day of hiking. Our server Meredith was a sweetheart and very cautious of my allergy.
Candlepin is $30/5 pers/hr
Pizza are $16-$26+tax, salad is the only other option but there is gluten free dough. They natural and organic ingredients and sodas.
Environment is modern and cute.
Parking is pretty bad. 2h free until 8pm, then unlimited. There's a gym in the same block and a fancy parking garage.
When we ordered we informed the waiter about our gluten allergy, he was very knowledgeable and the food came out incredibly fast and was absolutely delicious!
The Abbey is the perfect place to grab drinks with friends at midnight, enjoy a tomato bisque with parents at 5pm, and get married!!
lol yes I did get married here a month ago, and prior to that event, my partner and I have been proud patrons for the last 3.5 years. An excellent $12 cocktail menu, delicious cod and steak frites, and a warm, classy but casual atmosphere. Servers are consistently great. They also have an entirely separate gluten-free menu that my gluten-free friends are super happy with.
We also reserved their downstairs for our 30-person wedding! Dean, the manager, was super enjoyable to work with to plan the event, and Rachel and Matt were our bartenders and servers day-of and really made everything so easy. Thank you guys!
If you’re looking for a wedding space that’s inviting, classy, and casual, and you don’t mind getting married in front of an exit sign (we did not mind lol), I strongly recommend. We genuinely feel that the evening was pretty perfect, and our friends are still raving about the tomato bisque and grilled cheese. I could also imagine their downstairs being a great space for any relatively intimate event you’d like to host!
If you’re not planning to get married soon, I’d still suggest stopping by for an enjoyable meal and cleverly named cocktail. We will be soon.
A dedicated gluten free fryer, gluten free beer, this place is amazing! Theres tons of seating and the service was good, I’d go back for the gf fried chicken sandwich.
We celebrated my best friends birthday last night and burtons was very accommodating! It is her favorite place especially because of her gluten allergy and they always are on point with making their dishes safe for her to eat. Thank you burtons for allowing us to stay past your closing time. We’ll be back.
Two guys working on Sunday afternoon. We walked in to a few folks at the bar and an empty set of tables. Didn’t look promising. We were pleasantly surprised from start to finish.
The after show rush filled up the place in 20 minutes and the place got busy! The guys were humping, but did a great job taking care of everyone we saw in the place, despite looking short handed.
Food was all good, solid pub fare. North shore roast beef took me back to Ipswich. The number of gluten free options was awesome to see.

This was my first time here. I chose the restaurant based on the proximity to the hotel I was staying and a quick review of the menu. It had many gluten free items, like 90% of the menu could accommodate a gf option.
I was not disappointed! The crispy chicken tenders were very good. Crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside.
The staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to visit again
Awesome gluten-free selection, they have a separate GF menu! Service was a little slow but overall good experience. I got the GF chicken piccata and it was a little too lemon-y but can’t complain for GF pasta!
Just moved to Athol, will probably be lifers here because the wife and I love it! Could not believe they have a separate menu just for gluten intolerant people. It’s a HUGE menu! Nice to see a restaurant care for the health of their customers!
Really cool place, easy to do a takeout order. Lots of parking around. I had the Gluten free fish and chips with fries. Pretty good, but not excellent. I was glad to find gluten free, dairy free and soy free in Boston.
Lauren was fantastic! Party of 25, she and Kiki handled everything without a sweat. So understanding, very accommodating, answered every question without hesitation. Food was fantastic, and as someone with celiac disease they took food allergies very seriously and were very knowledgeable with what to he cautious of. I will be coming back and asking for Lauren every time.
Truly most amazing gluten free dining experience I’ve had since being diagnosed in may. Gluten free bread which was wonderful and in a separate bowl from the normal bread. Everything fried is gluten free so I ate the calamari which was delicious. I ordered sushi and they gave me gluten free soy sauce. Overall, they are very accommodating and will make sure you are eating safe and make you are satisfied! I highly recommend if you are in the area!
The food here is amazing! We moved to the neighborhood recently and didn't realize what an extensive gluten free menu there is here. Everything was cooked to perfection but the standouts were the pizza (gluten free and not) and the tagliatelle pasta.
It was a busy night but they were able to accommodate our group of five with only a few hours notice and our server was wonderful!
Will start by saying my experience is with ordering online and take-out. Ordering was quick and easy. I ordered a gluten free pizza (as a celiac) and can say this was one tasty gluten free pizza. I also did not get any reaction which is the cherry on top. The price was fine for me it was about 18 bucks (charge of $4 to sub the dough) but that’s the gluten free life. Would order again and again. For reference I got the not just a roni pizza. The staff was also very nice.
The last three times we have been here, the fish has come out still frozen on the inside. The fried haddock used to be fresh (a work of art) but it appears they have pivoted to buying frozen fried haddock and tossing it into the fryer which does not completely cook the frozen fish.
We also received beans with macaroni bits in it. My household has celiac's so we did not appreciate the cross contamination.
Overall the quality has gone wildly downhill. You are better off just cooking at home.
I recently dined at Boston Ale House and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, offering a diverse range of options, including impressive gluten-free choices. The ambience was welcoming and enhanced the overall dining atmosphere. A special shoutout to our waitress, Juliana, whose exceptional service and attentiveness added to the enjoyment of our evening. Highly recommend this place for a satisfying dining experience.

Normally Tempo is a nice location with good food and service. Worthy of 4 stars maybe better on some nights when they update their menu, as they frequently do, with creative and fun new dishes.
Unfortunately my wife and I ordered take out deserts right before I writing this review and as you can see from the picture their idea of coffee creme brulee is unacceptable. For $10 I expect it to have a shape at the least.
Gluten Free friendly place though. Bonus points for that.

We enjoyed a late dinner at City Works for the first time the other night and weren't disappointed.
We did not have a dinner reservation, but since it was later on a Friday, we were seated immediately. The interior boasts plenty of seating, and during the nicer weather, there is an outdoor patio section, too. After renovations to the original buildings, you can see the steel frame ceiling of the brick building plus a faux ceiling for the restaurant. The typical industrial chic with numerous televisions is standard, but they do have a large wall with the current drink menu for easy decision-making.
There is plenty of parking at Arsenal Yards, plus it's right on the bus line. It's easily accessible along Route 20 from the Greater Boston Area or west-bound from Brighton.
Although there are "gluten sensitive" items on the menu, they do not have a dedicated deep fryer, and there's always a risk of cross contamination. They do offer gluten-free pasta and buns, but sadly, they only have flour tortillas for their tacos. I ordered the Cajun linguine (with gluten-free pene), and it was outstanding. Their Buffalo chicken dip is also a stand out on the menu.
I recommend visiting City Works for any casual occasion for good drinks and food.
Absolutely outstanding. We had a great experience a few weeks back and had to come back! Sarah was a great server, and the whole staff has been great about gluten and allergies. 100% get the Bacon appetizer, the Brussels were 10/10 also. Just go, and go HUNGRY. Great portions.
We had our baby shower here and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Julia and her team were wonderful!
She worked with us on a custom mocktail menu and the bar staff were amazing; especially Brendan who was super personable and made both a mean cocktail/mocktail and beer recommendation.
Chef Jon and his food are both amazing, I had people coming up to me days afterwards raving about our menu and how delicious everything was. He also accommodated my last-minute request to note all the options that were gluten-free so our guests with dietary restrictions could be comfortable too.
They fully rearranged the event space to suit our needs and left a time buffer to make sure our breakdown was as chill as possible. They also had a table in back room/speakeasy event space to have a Bluey break room for the younger kiddos when they needed it. We will definitely be back and bring our kiddo with us when we do!
Stopped in on a Saturday night, expecting it would be packed. It was, but we were still seated very quickly. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff was friendly. Despite several large parties seated near us, our food was also brought out quickly. Since we were going to a show after at the House of Blues, it was an added bonus that they had tablets to check out with on the table. Convenient walk to the House of Blues from Yard House. Normally, eating out without plans to head directly home is a risk for me (gluten sensitivity). Food from Yard House was fresh, had a ton of flavor, and the BBQ chicken Salad gave me no stomach unrest at all. I will likely make this a regular stop when I go to shows.
Went here for a lunch-dinner date after a hospital appointment and got steak to celebrate some good health. It was so good! Shoutout to the dedicated gluten free menu, which was very helpful. It’s not cheap — if you order apps and mains you’ll find yourself racking up a bill. I split an app (the gf buffalo cauliflower for $16 I believe) with my boyfriend and we each got an entree and a drink and the bill was about $100 after tip. But damn was that steak good
