I recently dined at Nordvegan and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing due to a serious oversight regarding my gluten allergy. Despite informing the staff about my allergy when I ordered, I was served the fake chicken curry with rice, which was labeled as gluten-free in the ingredients. The staff confirmed that it should not contain gluten and that this dish, along with another veg curry, were the safest options regarding cross-contamination. Unfortunately, this oversight led to a very bad night, as I felt unwell and sick for hours. It's crucial for restaurants to be attentive to dietary restrictions, especially when it comes to allergens. This experience highlighted a significant gap in that regard. While I can’t comment on the overall quality of the food due to my reaction, I believe that any restaurant should prioritize customer safety and clearly communicate about allergens in their dishes. I sincerely hope that implements better training for their staff on handling food allergies. For those with dietary restrictions, I would recommend exercising caution if you decide to visit.

Nice place that serves excellent crepes, both sweet and savory, even gluten-free! I went twice during my trip to Oslo and was very satisfied. The first time the waiting times were a little too long, but the very kind waitress apologized and offered us some ice cream. I recommend it!

Pleasant service, but completely on the nose not to offer something that is gluten-free and vegetarian at the same time.
