This cozy café with a charming fireplace offers a welcoming atmosphere ideal for relaxing. Known for its gluten-free and sugar-free options, it provides a colorful, fresh setting with tasty drinks and a variety of homemade baked goods that surprise with their flavor and quality.
I came here for the gluten free and dairy free options, which are sparse in Oslo. I was pleasantly surprised by the bean brownie, which was a tad sweet but otherwise good. The coffee was OK.
What I thought was really strange was the Mediterranean bowl. It was a really odd assortment of fruits, vegetables, and nuts with hummus. While I’m happy to have something to suit my dietary needs, I found it off to be eating pickles, sun-dried tomatoes, dates, olives, passion fruit, and hummus in the same plate. Overall, I would suggest avoiding the food and sticking to the teas and sweets.

Cozy café in a central location. The cake selection was very interesting, though slightly pricey. Went for a pomegranate chocolate cake and was surprised by how delicious it was even though it’s both gluten free and sugar free. Coffee is reasonably priced and tasty.
The other cakes and salads look great too. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Oslo and try one of the hot chocolates.
