From the second I opened the door, I was greeted warmly not only by the staff but my nose knew I was in exactly the right place to get a great brisket fix. I sat at the bar since I was alone and was treated to excellent conversation and service by Elicia who made me feel welcome while also getting me pumped about the food options while I reviewed the menu in detail. She understood all my food allergies of Egg, Gluten, and Dairy and helped me make my choices. When food arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. Each bite was heavenly and I needed to pace myself to appreciate it and drag out the experience longer. The sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and a massive quantity. Despite my desire to gorge myself, the pacing worked and now I have left overs enabling me to get another delicious fix of Salt Lick brisket tonight for dinner. Life Pro Tip, ask to sample the Texas Honey Pecan BBQ sauce. A++ it was great on my meat and the sweet potato fries.
