There was one place on my must go list for our trip to New Orleans and this didn't disappoint. 30min wait was worth it. We tried half the menu and it was incredible. So many excellent gluten-free options. I would come back to NO just for this restaurant!

I was super excited to come as you hear and read so much history about this place. It was everything I was told and imagined. The first thing you see and feel when walking in is the history this place has. All the staff was exceptional and on point! And the food, the foor was fantastic. Our table had the fried chicken, which was finger lickin excellence. For one order they were able to make it gluten free for my mom!! The Stewed chicken was absolutely delicious! And the same for the Shrimp Clemenceau. This place is a must come and repeat!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good vibe over all. Clean, rustic and accommodating. Wish I had known only breakfast was served before 2pm. That said, their breakfast was great too! It only made me want to come back for everything else. The hibiscus tea was one of the most delicious teas I’ve ever had. Also got the “skrimp,” crispy cauliwings, creole greens, sweet potatoes and yellow grits. All delicious with lots of flavor and good texture. I opted for the gluten free versions of everything in order to share with my partner. I wouldn’t have known the difference- all were great.

I’ve been to Thaihey a few times and it is always incredibly delicious and such a phenomenal experience. Misty and Nathan were so amazing and sweet and helpful and knowledgeable and made our dining experience fantastic. We had the vegan khao soi which is so TO LIVE FOR, the delicious okra appetizer that is unlike any other okra you’ve ever had in the BEST way, and the vegan chef challenge jackfruit massaman curry special that was so insanely yummy. The Thai tea and the beet mezcal cocktail were perfect accompaniments, and the ube basque burnt cheesecake was special and divine. I wish I took more photos of the decor but trust me when i say this tiny gem is MAGICAL in every way. I love this place and am so grateful for a restaurant with a full vegan menu in addition to an omnivore menu. I wish more places had food options for everyone with all dietary needs. The okra appetizer was phenomenal and is also vegan and gluten free, so people of all food needs can enjoy it! I’ll be back again and again!
