As a celiac eating gluten free can be so hard! Staff are just not trained to understand the importance of no cross contamination. Where as at Sugarcane Lily served my sister and I. She was so friendly, super professional and had immense knowledge of the menu and how to reassure I'll be enjoying some amazing GF food! I will definitely be back just to have such good customer service as Lily provided for us that night. That crispy chicken blew my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a rather underwhelming dinner experience at another Coogee establishment, we looked forward to some Italian fare. Excellent choice, the food, the service, the ambience. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed dinner and our gluten intolerant daughter was well taken care of. Seems reservations for the weekend are a must. The restaurant was rather busy at 6pm - for a number of good reasons. Had plenty of delicious complimentary bread, very much enjoyed the anchovies (YUM), the crudo and great pastas. Highly recommended.
