Today was our first visit to this amazing cafe. We have gluten and dairy free requirements and were pleasantly surprised to find how well this cafe catered for our dietary needs. The soup and bread was superb. The coffee and hot chocolate drinks were extremely tasty. The service from Jaida was excellent; she was very pleasant and helpful. The staff member who served the food to our table was also pleasant. The pricing of the generously sized meals and drinks were good value. The staff were very accommodating if we did need to finish our meals after their closing time. We will return to this cafe.
Love coming to dinner at The Haus! The food is amazing, great selection of wines and a great atmosphere! I also love how many coeliac friendly options they have on their menu!
I went to the German Arms Hotel with my family.
My little one (and by extension me) has allergies to dairy, soy, egg, gluten, chicken, lentil, lamb and pumpkin.
Thankfully the kitchen has a dedicate fryer for gluten free foods and they also use canola oil in it, rather than vegetable oil which could be soy derived.
My food was absolutely delicious and I waddled out a happy lady. My husband who is also a vegetarian and gluten free was happy with his meal.
Would 100% go back.
Used to love visiting here. As a person with Coeliac Disease, I used to be able to use most of the products, but in the last year, gluten has become an ingredient in more and more of their things. Coeliac Disease is not a fad, people! Not really worth me visiting any more… I just become saddened by all the things I used to enjoy and can’t, anymore.
This is our favourite winery in all of Adelaide! Quite frankly our favourite restaurant. The vibes and the views are both incredible.
The whole team makes us feel right at home, with every single visit. We have been coming here for years now and will continue to. We’ve even rented a space for my wife’s birthday last year, and when we renew our vows for our 10 year anniversary you can guarantee it will be held here.
We want to give a special mention to Matt and Hannah, both of these humans are so genuinely lovely, and we always know that we are in the safest hands with my wife’s gluten allergies and just being looked after in general.
A even more special shoutout to Leanne, who in our opinion is the definition of hospitality! She is the absolute best and is extremely knowledgeable and caring in everything she does. Always down for a chat and all service in hospitality should be based of what she provides. Can not recommend enough!
Fantastic authentic Italian food, everything handmade and fresh. Wonderful pasta and wood oven pizza as well as main dishes. Plenty of Gluten free options. The Tiramisu is very yummy. Large servings with an extensive wine list and collector's wines. Wonderful limoncello and Mandarincello especially bottled for them. Will be back soon🥰
Amazing food and great service!!
We use to eat here 11/12 years ago regularly then moved out of the area. Went back for a special birthday dinner and have fallen in love with the food all over again! Was even more delicious than I remembered and love that as a gluten free vegan there are many options!!
Very impressed with their service. We found everyone knowledgeable about coeliac disease and strict gluten-free diet We were told that most dishes can be made GF and that the restaurant has coeliac safety measures in place. The food was delicious and they even made a gluten free Strawberry pot for my child.
We returned after our strawberry picking for dessert which was equally delicious
Lots of parking options, kid friendly, lovely atmosphere, very well organised
My partner and I have gluten and dairy free dietary requirements. We read on the blackboard at the front of the business that they catered for gluten free, dairy free and vegan. This is why we went into the business today for lunch, plus we had dined here sometime ago. Upon enquiring about what food we could eat, there was only gluten free focaccia. As we only wanted a light lunch, we enquired about the soup of the day, but it contained gluten and dairy. When I enquired about dietary requirements, it appeared to be an effort and inconvenience for the staff member to answer my questions. We decided not to dine at this establishment.
Beautiful vineyard and great tasting experience. We did the wine flight with food, which was focused on experiencing the taste of the wine with and without food. The wines were delicious and food was great. Catered for a guest that was gluten free and dairy free also.
The tables and chairs in the front garden quickly captured our interest, and before we knew it, we found ourselves comfortably settled in. Our group shared a couple of bottles of wine and indulged in the delicious gluten-free cheese puffs and cacciatore sausage with manchego cheese, which were absolutely delightful. The staff mades us feel very welcome with their genuine and friendly hospitality.
It was such a great experience that we decided to return the following afternoon!
A lovely place for breakfast. The menu is small but adaptable with multiple add-ons, including a delicious gluten-free toast. I ordered 'Eggs Your Way' with GF toast, a hashbrown, and mushrooms (pictured), which came to me beautifully presented, which speaks highly to the care of the chef. The wait staff were lovely and knowledgeable around coeliac when I asked for gf bread.
