Halal with the majority of food being gluten free is incredibly rare to find.
Add the food being super delicious and 40% if you visit before 3pm weekdays and you have one of the best restaurants in Melbourne. It has been over 10 years since I could eat these foods as I am coeliac and muslim so other Asian restaurants could not cater for me. Thank you LeFeu Oasis - you made my belly and heart very warm.
They do savoury pies and sausage rolls as well as doughnuts! Dietary options are catered to with, gluten free and vegan combined into a pastie, meat pie and sausage roll. I ordered the AFL doughnuts ages ago, but they weren’t vegan 😭. They’re always busy, so I wouldn’t dine in due to the queue and how the surround is a busy car park.
All veggie food - soy or gluten based fat used as substitute. Good portion sizes that encourages sharing between the group in a traditional way.
Menu is a mix of Chinese and Malaysian.
I think I like more proper vegetarian dishes compared to mock meat based dishes. It's a matter or personal choice.
If you miss meat and would like to have a gratification with something close - this is the place.
Service was fantastic, good space and set up.
The yummiest gluten free pies!! As someone who cannot eat gluten, having GF options anywhere is soooo greatly appreciated, especially something like a pies! They have plain beef and beef and pepper and both are so good. Please make more gluten free flavours :)
