Vegie Bowl - Springvale

All veggie food - soy or gluten based fat used as substitute. Good portion sizes that encourages sharing between the group in a traditional way. Menu is a mix of Chinese and Malaysian. I think I like more proper vegetarian dishes compared to mock meat based dishes. It's a matter or personal choice. If you miss meat and would like to have a gratification with something close - this is the place. Service was fantastic, good space and set up.

Nice place, fast service. The portions are big but you can buy a container for 20 cents to take the leftovers home. We had the honey "chicken" with fried rice and Pékin "duck", really nice you would think it were meat. The fake meat is made with gluten or soy so could be an issue with persons with allergies. You can ask for the meal to be vegan.
