Their menu is great and has numerous options for gluten free people, vegans and vegetarians. A great balance of options and then all the other good stuff too!
Blacking Pub was a fave spot when I lived in Courtenay years ago. Decided to check it out when I was just on a weekend getaway. The atmosphere was amazing and how I loved seeing the storm clouds pass by the beautiful huge windows that look over the Marina. Food was amazing and the were able to accommodate me being celiac. Portions were huge. Our server was amazing!! So welcoming, always smiling and quick with any of our needs. Highly recommended
Decent price for food and coffee, about $14 for their breakfast sandwhich and a 12oz Iced latte-- a good selection of Vegan & Gluten Free options too. I loved the taste of their espresso, and would suggest ordering their Americano if you want a nice, smooth, cup of coffee to pair with a baked good of your choice. Overall, the place is amazing, and the staff are always so friendly and inviting.
Popped in for a beer and some food. Nice team serving us and enjoyed the food and drink. Cool setting with seating inside and out. Also did a great gluten free beer.
I accidentally ordered a dish I could not eat (I am gluten free) and the staff were awesome about offering suggestions and quick to deliver my food decision.
I have to say that the dish I ordered smelled amazing!! I wish I could have eaten it without consequences
Pricey but worth it! Quality ingredients, sandwiches are chocker blocked full of deliciousness, soups are also full of flavour and goodness, plus many are gluten-free as are a bread selection for GF sandwiches. Baked goods too.
I am celiac and had an amazing meal! They have a dedicated fryer. Our table ordered falafel Taco and the prawn Tacos.
Service was spot on as well! We will be back!
