For a coeliac abroad, whose French is limited, this is a good choice when in Menton. They do a range of buckwheat galette dishes. Just ask for the sweet crepes to be buckwheat, check other ingredients and you’re good! Very tasty. Once I mentioned I needed gluten free the owner was right onto it. The waiter was less knowledgeable however. Overall we’ve found it difficult in France to find ‘gluten free’
A moment in Italy in Menton
The pasta with clams was sublime, and the eggplant starter delighted everyone at our table.
There were even gluten-free options for my husband, from starter to dessert.
Thanks to the very friendly chef who made our evening a wonderful one.
We will return.
It was a great experience dining at this restaurant! I had the opportunity to eat a fabulous carbonara like few can do and I must say that in addition to the excellent service they were able to manage the fact that my girlfriend has celiac disease, paying attention to various details. To come back, I absolutely recommend trying the limoncello!
Super friendly people. Delicious breakfast, very trendy and gluten free options as a bonus (we had gluten free avocado toast, granola bowl and brownie, but there were even more gluten free options)
Cashier not at all up to standard. Having queued for gluten-free bread, I asked if there was any, there were two left, one with wheat and one with corn. I told the cashier that I was going to ask my friend who was making purchases in your store, it took 15 seconds. When I returned to the cashier I asked for the corn one. She told me to get back in line, there were five people. I find this not at all commercial. In addition, pigeons were on the edge of the cereals. When she pointed this out, she replied that she didn't have time to take care of the pigeons. It's really unfortunate to hear a response like this.
I had the pleasure of eating here and it was a great experience! Excellent crêpes also with buckwheat and therefore Gluten Free. I ate a savory crêpes and a sweet one that were really excellent. Prices normal. Nice but small atmosphere, better to book in advance.
Very good couscous served with kindness and a smile, no problem for the gluten-free couscous, good and tasty products, we will return there to taste the tagines.
A pizzeria which unfortunately sells us gluten-free but despite everything we are sick depending on the level of gluten intolerance.
You should know that it is the same place for cooking without or with gluten. There are not two very distinct laboratories.
The dough costs extra and it is thick.
The pizzas are generous but not worth the price displayed.
I gave a star in cooking related to gluten-free.
I stopped at Chez Lina’s in the hot part of the day because I needed a little break. I ordered the Cesar but asked if it was gluten free and said the chicken was breaded, so she recommended the Italian salad and it was exactly what I needed. It was delicious and beautifully prepared. There was prosciutto, fresh tomatoes, arugula, Parmesan, cold and fresh mozzarella, pesto, and a vinaigrette. It was a really good salad.
