We enjoyed the afternoon tea and atmosphere at Mad Hatters this afternoon. I required Gluten free, and I can say it was the tastiest I have ever eaten. The quiche was on a layer of ham instead of pastry was a masterpiece. I don't often have to take some home, but there was so much to eat at a very reasonable price. I ordered a bacon sandwich. I was asked if I wanted butter or sauce and I declined as I'm lactose intolerant but nice of them to ask.
Had a bottle of coke.
Bacon sandwich was lovely perfectly cooked and no fat on which is a plus for me who likes the rind 😂😂.
Had a lovely latte after and as I'm lactose intolerant they had other alternatives such as soya milk which I had this time.
They are very polite staff here and it's nice they can go above and beyond to make your visit a good one.

Wait time was only few minutes for my sandwich which is expected as your food is cooked fresh and cooked to order and not holded in a container like Gregg's sitting in a container for 30 mins plus lol.

Tables and chairs are good and a chill sofa and a long sofa bar style seat Infront of window is comfortable as a alternative if you need a bigger seat instead of the usual table chairs seats.
