We stayed in the lovely Otters Lodge in the well located area of Symonds Yat and were not dissappinted. Its a well equiped cottage attached to a lovely pub (Ye Olde Ferrie Inn). The people were very helpful and quickly dealt with any issues or questions. Being a Coeliac I am always careful when eating out as finding good GF food can sometimes be hit or miss. However, Ye Olde Ferrie inns menu is great for coeliacs and the staff were very knowledgeable and well trained about allergy issues. The food was very well prepared and very tasty. The service was excellent. Fantastic place for scenery, walks, food, and accommodation. We will be recommending to friends and family and hope to be back ourselves again soon. Particular thanks to Amy and Alec for looking after us.

We visited today for Mothers Day and had a lovely roast dinner. Portions were very generous and the food was absolutely delicious - I’d say the best roast dinner I’ve had out in quite some time. I’m coeliac and had mentioned being gluten free when I booked but my expectations were well and truly surpassed! I had gf Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and even my own little dish of cauliflower cheese. Then a delicious sticky toffee pudding and custard to finish. It really was amazing! Service was very friendly and quick as well.

First class in every way. I’m a Coeliac and felt confident this was taken seriously. The Land Lord himself came to inform me what was available to me and was knowledgable and friendly. Staff were all smiling and friendly. Very Impressed.
