We came here for lunch on our way home from a camping trip. My adult son is Autistic and gluten and dairy intolerant. The staff were lovely, very accommodating and sorted out a really nice lunch for him around his requirements. The allergy system works well and the attention to detail was appreciated.
Lovely setting, calm atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff and delicious food.
Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful meal here last week. One of our party is gluten and dairy free and she was bowled over by the help that was given. There was a good range of food options that would suit this restricted diet, and the dish that was chosen was absolutely delicious. When it came to dessert usually she is only offered sorbet (!), but the team at No. 3 provided a choice of fabulous options. The whole meal was very much enjoyed by everyone, and the service was perfect. Thank you to the No. 3 team đ
A good gluten-free selection makes this charming hotel a welcoming choice for those with gluten intolerance. The friendly, helpful staff ensure a comfortable dining experience, offering options like gluten-free hash browns, bread, and even a gluten-free Bakewell slice. Guests can enjoy these dietary accommodations while soaking in fantastic views over the river Wye from spacious rooms or relaxing on the terrace, blending scenic atmosphere with thoughtful gluten-free dining.

Stopped off for a quick lunch, turned out be a very slow lunch for a table of 4 (table 5 at 2pm ish on 1/1/24) ordered 4 meals, with 2 gammon steaks coming wrong and then taking a very, very long time to be rectified, with lots of tables being served before us when a "rush order" message should've been sent to the kitchen to prioritise the table as it had already been half sent, and by the time they did come back correct the other 2 diners had pretty much finished the meal.
Server did offer us another round but as we were driving and had a toddler with us we had to politely decline.
Printed menu needs updating to be aligned with digital menu, and no allergen symbols, specifically gluten free, on paper menu, they do have a big screen to check but if you're not very good with tech then you'd struggle.
Decent beer as expected.
Itâs great that they understand the need to offer gluten free bread, but they need to get a better brand. My bacon and Brie toastie tasted and had a texture like cardboard. The coffee was very weak, even though they called it a double shot. The service was unenthusiastic (both staff appeared to be sullen teenagers).
Oh yes, and they donât even serve ginger nuts - my friend was very disappointed!
Nestled beside a river, this venue offers a cosy, fresh atmosphere with a lovely beer garden and outside bar, perfect for those seeking a comfortable dining experience. Notably, the staff are attentive to gluten-free needs, ensuring guests are informed about ingredient changes, which is crucial for those managing gluten sensitivities. The menu's standout dishes, like perfectly cooked belly pork and sticky toffee pudding, can be enjoyed with confidence thanks to this considerate approach to gluten-free dining.

Rude staff in the restaurant, told some of us we could order gluten free, some not - orders were taken incorrectlyâŠdo not recommend!

Vary rarely there's a place that does everything well.
The Avellino team does.
It's difficult if you have special dietary requirements, like allergies.
I have an allergy and two intolerances & my Mrs has an intolerance and an allergy, we feel very comfortable eating here.
I spoke with Loni, (apologies for incorrect spelling). He can advise against dishes containing allergens.
The cutlery is clean. The glassware is clean and not chipped or cracked.
The crockery is also immaculate. The tables are always clean. The draught's are properly chilled and don't taste like the lines haven't been cleaned in a long time.
The front of house staff are always immaculately presented and service is of the highest quality.
The cocktails are exquisite and if you fancy one but don't want alcohol, there is a mocktail menu also.
They cater for veggie and gluten free.
They have a lovely, large open space dining room. I dropped my fork, the cutlery is back end heavy. By the time I had picked it up he had come over with a replacement.
It's almost silver service and Michelin cuisine but for a very reasonable price.
The menu is a mixture of Italian and Greek influences. But the product is purely indulgent.
Which brings me to, desert. If you can permit the calories the desert menu is a sweet tooth paradise.
Excellent coffee.
Most of my reviews are 1 star, I acknowledge I'm difficult to please and often heavily critical.
This time, if there was a 6th star I would have awarded that.

This is a lovely family-run cafe that has been standing in Broad Street for over a quarter of a century. Having recently rediscovered itself as a vegetarian and vegan cafe in late 2021, it caters to those who have, or are, willing to turn over a new leaf (pun intended)! They have a vegetarian menu with vegan options and several also cater to those who are gluten intolerant.
Run by two ladies - Nikki and Charmaine, this place has a warm atmosphere and friendly vibes with food that's made with love. Whether you come here for the warm soup or for scones and tea, you will leave with a smile, because of the warmth of the hosts.
The light background music means you don't need to shout to be heard across the table.
I will be going back again, that's for sure.
This charming cafe is a gluten-free haven with a menu thoughtfully designed to accommodate dietary needs, featuring gluten-free bread and mains that delight without compromise. Enjoy perfectly cooked eggs and fresh, simple breakfasts in a quiet, lovely setting that invites relaxation, making it a rare gem for those seeking quality gluten-free dining.

My friend is gluten intolerant and they could accommodate her. They easily and friendly explained everything on menu. our food and drinks, americano teapot of earl gray arrived very quick.
