Great value tapas joint . Does lots of gluten free food which is nice to get chicken in spicy coating I can eat . Been a few times and will keep going I'm sure.
Visited this restaurant for the first time this evening with family and we were very impressed. All our food was extremely tasty & well presented and there was a really good menu choice. Lots of gluten free food (our grandson is coeliac) & plenty of choice on the children's menu, with smaller portions of the main menu instead of nuggets & chips like many other restaurants. The decor was authentic and all the staff were extremely efficient & friendly.
We will definitely be back soon.
Ordered for the first time being that they do “gluten free” on a Wednesday.
Everything ordered was cold upon collection - apart from the gluten free fish.
I have to say the gluten free fish was lovely & piping hot but chips (both gluten free & normal for my husband) were cold & not enjoyable, hardly cooked if anything. All other items were also cold.
Don’t do reviews much but as finding gluten free takeaways is difficult & that this is raved about being “one of the best chippy in rugby” feel I must.
Will not be hurrying back. Sorry.
Don't really want to share this secret incase I struggle to get a table next time!! Great Sunday lunch at a really reasonable price, all freshly cooked and nice to have a variety of veg. Really understanding and accommodating of gluten free requirements.
This is a super little cafe with an excellent range of hot and cold food and drink. Cater well for vegans and coeliac diets, super friendly staff and gorgeous inside and out.
The venue is small and cosy with the pizza oven and pizza making visible
As it is a small venue it is best to reserve a table as it will get jam packed pretty quickly
Depending on how busy it gets, you may need to share a table depending on size of group
If you do have allergies like dairy gluten will accommodate as long as you tell them in advance
Went for a Sunday meal. The staff said the al a carte menu was fine for us to order which we really appreciated. The staff were great. Really welcoming and polite.
I'm gluten free with coeliac disease. The staff were great.
The bread was amazing and a great touch to start the meal.
With 4 of us, we feel the starters were well over priced. As nice as they were I would expect half the price they charge in comparison to other high end resteraunts.
With the main, again I would say over priced for what it is. Although the presentation was fantastic.
The biggest down side was my steak. I asked for medium rare and it came basically blue which was really disappointing, especially for the price I would have expected it to be cooked to perfection. It was strongly charred on the outside and cold on the inside. We didn't make a fuss as I wouldn't have wanted to wait for a new one while everyone else was eating.
Unfortunately I have been glutened! Such a shame as I would have bet on a nice place being able to prevent contamination.
We won't be returning and I highly recommend not going as the price really does not match the quality. And specifically not for gluten free guests.
Visited for the first time. There was an ant on our table that paid us more attention than the waiters. We named him Scott 😊 asked the waiter if the Poppadoms are gluten free and his response was “I don’t know. But they are very crunchy and tasty” food was ok but nothing special unfortunately.
Great value for money for family breakfast out range of foos is great if you have no allergies. I am Coeliac but not much available continental other than fruit, yogurt and toast. But overall I stocked up on cooked so good value for 3 people.
