HUGE gluten free menu and absolutely delicious. I had the steak sandwich which was so yummy and smooth. The service was incredible and the view is great if you enjoy people watching. Definitely recommend for a nice lunch in the city centre.
The food was amazing. The resturant was clean, a lovely atmosphere and caters for gluten free.
The staff were lovely and professional, thank you to Aron for suggesting what I could eat due to a gluten allergy.
I definitely recommend this resturant
We had brunch & the food was amazing.
I had a veggie breakfast and every item was hot & delicious. Same for the avo and eggs roll.
The gluten free options were a stand out too, able to swap items to allow them to be served gf.
I added beans to the breakfast to make it more of a 'full English' as an extra but for the price would expect these to be included. That's my only constructive feedback really as was an amazing breakfast for both dishes.
Ate here for the first time today (Saturday 22nd Feb 2025) the restaurant was clean, staff were very helpful and the Gluten Free Menu was very good. Recommend
Went for a late pizza for 1, enthusiastically greeted by Amelia (vietnamese/welsh), Ilka and smiling pizzaioloa. They clearly knowledgable about the menu, helpful, attentive and very efficent in their roles. My order was taken swifly, cooked and received hot within 4 and half mins. I was impress all 5 teams members checking day doting food labelling & cleaning the whole time I was there, toilet not a spect of dirt too. Plenty of colouring packs for the little ones, Vegan and Gluten free options.

Absolutely fantastic service from Jorja, friendly and helpful. As a celiac it's always awkward eating out, but our order was taken with no problems. The menu was straight forward and easy to navigate.
Would definitely recommend to anyone with allergies.
They managed to squeeze us in despite being fully booked, which I appreciate. Really good gluten free pizza (tasted like a proper pizza!). The kids buffet is good value and a nice experience.
I had lunch today at the Waterloo Tea, I am Gluten and Wheat free, and the staff really looked after me, explaining the menu and options and assuring me gluton free was no problem, the poached eggs I had on toast were loverly, and I even tried there organic cola which was nice as well. Looking forward to taking my wife there for something to eat, please thank the staff who were on today for there helpful and caring ways.
Had a lovely lunchtime meal. As always they handled my gluten-free diet perfectly and my other half’s vegan diet. The staff were very friendly especially Dean who served us expertly. Thank you for a great meal.
Nice chain restaurant. Staff were friendly and considering it was an event night and they were packed, they were attentive.
Impressed with their allergy process, the manager took my order, they were all aware and they informed and helped me rather than gave me a massive book to look through.
Super impressed they had vegan and gluten free fajitas, which were yummy. Very nice Pina Colada too.
Over all a thumbs up for allergy awareness, food options, atmosphere and service. The only improvement would be to have vegan sour cream
Staff were all amazing and helped me figure out how to order for my first time. Food tasted amazing and will definitely be back. Helped my partner ensure they could have gluten-free food without risk of cross contamination: can’t recommend enough :)
My husband and I eat here regularly. I prefer gluten and dairy free food and there’s a good selection of choices on the menu. Staff are brilliant, always welcoming and attentive. Food portions are generous and we love the regular offers making it very affordable. Can’t fault Prezzo in Cardiff.
Was served by richard johnson who was very welcoming, enthusiastic about his job and very informative showing me the gluten free options for food and drink! Will 100% come again!
beautiful restaurant lovely interior!! And ok service. However as a someone with celiac disease I was incredibly disappointed with the options for food - which weren’t just greens. I was so exited as they advertise for gluten free being really good, however the options were extremely limited… when phoning up they said they can make the chips gluten free however, the waiter told me they weren’t and they don’t change the frier, so it would be cross contamination. I think it was off putting as someone who can get extremely poorly with having gluten it didn’t seem as though they knew what to do with the information of being gluten free. We were also charged for water which we didn’t ask for originally:
- I would just say if your gluten free you can only eat the salad of the 2 course menu which is £19.85.
- we also did get charged £70 pound for a meal that was meant to be £48.
Although the food for gluten free wasn’t great. All in all the restaurant itself was beautiful and such a lovely atmosphere- and there were some really helpful waiters who took pride in helping customers.
But a beautiful building and very photographic
Used to be a really good selection for gluten free but I haven't been here for a while. It's much more limited and now only 2 options available. Big shame.
Service was very slow even though it was very quiet. The person before us left because he'd Waited so long even though he'd paid. I ordered fries which took half an hour to come out and were cold. Won't be returning.
This place used to be a literal heaven for gluten free people. I went last week and the menu has changed. The only "gluten sensitive" options are on the Vegan menu, and it's all very confusing!
Our choices are limited to the Sundaes and the Waffle. No sauces for the waffle are marked as GF (or GS) so I had a very sad crumbly waffle with just ice cream on top!
Definitely not going again!
Phenomenal! Absolutely amazing restaurant. I have complex dietary restrictions (including gluten free, low fodmap and other allergies) an electric wheelchair and an assistance dog and have never felt so welcome and catered for. The whole experience was so relaxing, the service exemplary and the food out of this world. All the staff were fantastic and all the meat was mouthwatering. The only downside is that I live far too far away from it for regular visits. I could not recommend it highly enough.
After a really stressful time looking around Cardiff for Gluten Free food, we checked out Rosa's. The staff member went above and beyond for us to ensure the meal was suitable for someone who suffers celliac disease. Recommended for a tasty meal and people who actually care about their customers.
The perfect pizza chain, great food, prices and wonderful service! I’d like to mention how lovely our waiter Tai was, and a saxophonist I hear ;) also the best gluten free pizza easily
Wonderful tapas lunch with plenty of gluten free options. Staff very helpful and friendly.
If I could change one thing, it would be to make the 'fish of the day' a simple dish with oil/herbs rather than in batter which excludes coeliac. We loved the Artichoke and Boquerone dishes in particular.

Best Italian restaurant in Cardiff and cooked by an Italian chef!! We had the penne norma, classic pepperoni pizza and beef lasagne. Ended with a complimentary espresso (or limoncello). Very authentic Italian, not salty and with the right balance in taste n flavour. They also have a gluten free menu. Really a hidden gem in St David's Centre.

First time we visited the cafe, on Heol Santes Mary (?Llanfair?) in the capital. A warm welcome from the staff (x1!) and the coffee is good. Today, the only gluten-free option was a type of chocolate cookie (three types of chocolate!), delightfully soft under the crunchy crust. [Lose a mark for not offering a gluten-free cake or an alternative to the all-present chocolate cookie/brownie.]
Quite undecorated inside with round tables of marble or rectangular ones of smooth wood - but creating a certain atmosphere of the first cafe houses or similar ones in Europe these days.

Went here as a big group for dinner and Chu gave us the best service ever! He was so attentive with drinks and food making sure everything was alright which probably isn’t easy for a group of 15+. Rhi the manager was also fantastic as we had allergies on the table and she was incredible in making sure we weren’t left out. Highly recommend and great for gluten free!
Such lovely staff. Our reservation (for the latest table they do) hadn't gone through, we were 15 minutes late - over running theatre- and they apologised to me that they might need to rush through the orders. They were then all chilled about choosing wines, didn't rush us at all, then custom adapted a dish for my food intolerance(gluten AND dairy free). Food was absolutely amazing. Really nice ambience. Awesome place!
Lovely place. Was a bit uncertain initially because of its location but inside is aesthetically pleasing, clean and tidy. Staff were exceptional. The food, my god, so tasty. Plentiful vegan and gluten free options too.
Spent £40 on 2 main meals, a side and 2 nan breads, with also alcoholic beverages. Can not beat that for value for money.
Will definitely return.
Eating here as someone with coeliac disease and needing to avoid gluten was a pleasure. The manager and staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and took all the anxiety out of ordering.
I enjoyed the Belly Pork slow cooked. Absolutely fabulous. I am gluten intolerant and my meal was adapted to suit my dietary needs. Will definitely be visiting again.

Not amazing, came here for my birthday on recommendation from a friend.
We turned up and waited around for 10 mins until someone came to seat us. Despite plenty of tables empty, we were seated very close to others. That's probably more on the weird configuration of tables than anything else.
We ordered tea. It was a vegan afternoon tea for two but they brought dairy milk so good that we double checked when it arrived.
Food came out afterwards - sandwiches, scones with butter and jam, a selection of cakes.
Sandwiches were good: mustard and ham, notzerella and chutney, cucumber and cream cheeze.
Scones were ok, small but that's fine, very clearly gluten free. Unfortunately GF options tend to be very different in taste and texture, and for my partner and I, we really dislike it. It was poorly advertised as GF. We ate 1 of the 2 scones each and left the other.
Ok fine so on to the cakes - both of us took a bite out of each and stopped as they were all gluten free. Strangely nobody came and checked on us in the hour we were there, and we had to go flag someone down to actually get the bill afterwards.
The waiter asked us how it was - we were honest and said not really what we expected. At £20 each it's not on the cheaper side of afternoon teas.
The explanation didn't really make sense that they couldn't have a vegan and GF option as they'd then need to then stock more variety. No apology offered even that we didn't enjoy it. Wouldn't be going back, or recommending and we actually skipped the spa there we had planned in case it was equally disappointing.
Had a great meal at Gaucho, we took advantage of the BYOB offer on Monday. Our server Owen was great and was so helpful with my dietary requirements, he spoke with the chef who adapted the starter I wanted to make it gluten free. The food was perfectly cooked, we couldn't fault anything at all!
My girlfriend and I had a difficult time here this evening. We were seated upstairs. Despite me putting it on the booking reservation form, the waiter had no idea about what was gluten free on the menu. He then roughly made a guess at what he didn't think contained it before we agreed he should get the allergen menu. He then came back upstairs after checking and told me he didn't bring it because it was "too complicated" and that he would just tell me what is gluten free or not. By this point, you must appreciate I couldn't put my trust 100% in him. I appreciate that you cannot guarantee something being totally gluten free, but I think even a small indication on the menu should be implemented. Accidentally eating gluten can be really dangerous for some people and I think having a greater awareness among FOH staff would go a long way.
The menu formatting was difficult too. There were drinks menus on the table but no food menus- just one big one upstairs out of view of most customers.
The food itself was lovely and although it took a while, we expected it to because of how busy it can get.
I'm sorry to leave this review. I wanted to have a good time, but the lack of awareness around a prominent allergen in the menu is concerning.
The Sunday lunch was delicious. They could cater for gluten free more than the menu let's on, which was really helpful.
The scotch egg was amazing to start, but the roast wasn't anything special. Really good experience though and will return next time we're in town
