Stop here if you're looking for espresso with notes and not a chain coffee taste. The espresso maple roll was delicious as was the gluten free rhubarb muffin. Left feeling very satisfied. :)
Tasty and interesting menu. Very creative. The wood-fired, roasted, gluten-free cauliflower stole the show.
There were some misses. The desert was odd and much too salty. The truffle on the risotto had no flavor - blindfolded, I would have had no idea there were truffles in the dish.
The staff didn’t seem highly conscious about allergies. This restaurant is probably unsafe for celiacs.
So good we came back twice in our two days in Juneau! Seriously would fly in JUST for this. Don't miss it.
Everything we had on the menu was delicious! Eating within 75 yards of a bald eagle was also a pretty special experience! The other location looked more crowded and we were really glad we came to this one. Also love how they yell out where you’re from, its a fun way to avoid two of the same name and also hear the diverse landscape of where people are from!
The combo is a great value, though the second time I had to order two cups of bisque since there was no larger size! They should definitely sell a larger size. It had a great thick texture, was gluten free (!) and just delicious! We highly recommend you visit here at LEAST once if you’re in Juneau! We will certainly be craving coming back for it!
I really enjoyed the Sandpiper Cafe. It's usually pretty busy for breakfasts, but they do their best to accommodate you. They have a big menu that changes regularly and have some gluten free options available. Their food has always been very tasty. In addition to coffee, they also have a good tea selection.
Its once place we always stop when we are in Juneau!
On the boardwalk with outdoor seating! They have gluten free burger buns, tortillas for fish tacos, and can do grilled fish instead of battered for fish and chips.
Specifically reviewing their pizza Wednesdays. We enjoyed the beers we ordered and then we got one standard pizza and one of the vegan gluten free bases and a vegan pizza (by accident). The pizza is very good, great crust, tasty ingredients, and we agreed we would go back for just the pizza. The vegan gluten free crust was surprisingly good, and we’ve tried a lot that are surprisingly bad. It’s a great space with a fun atmosphere and some great beverage options.
Great pub atmosphere. They have gluten free buns for the burgers, the meat patty and secret source are gluten free. The fries are cooked in a shared fryer so I had the vegetable soup as a side. Greens GF beer is a bonus. The staff were terrific and very knowledgeable about what was GF. Great pub meal.
