I was very unhappy when Pionic on Campbell closed - i missed the "build your own" with gluten-free options.
I liked the atmosphere at Pionic slightly better - more wood and slightly more similar to a pub feel, but MOD is clean and airy with a good vibe.
The staff are all extra friendly and helpful.
The pizzas are good. My main suggestion would be to make them a little less dry by extending the sauce all the way to the edge of the crust - a personal preference, but it goes a long way toward keeping the thin crust from getting too crisp in the oven.
I like the variety of toppings and sauces and they have a lot of really good salads.
Service with a smile, allergy conscious. I cannot have gluten-hot wings worked great for me! Delicious, perfectly cooked, house made ranch dressing to dip was great! Old school arcade games (Ms Pac Man machine has a plethora of options eg:Centipede, Donkey Kongs, Frogger, Gyrrus, Space Invaders and more) Rush 2049 driving game, claw machines) Sit down tables & clean bathrooms. Simple but great!
The food was fresh and delicious. They also had a gluten-free pasta and pizza, which was helpful so the whole family could eat. They were also friendly with my 13 month old (high chair available) who made a little mess. I hope to go back soon!
This is a great little store with a lot of great produce and specialty food IE organic gluten free the deli also does sandwich orders the staff is always nice and helpful
My son and I were traveling from El Paso Texas to Southern California and stopped in here five minutes before they closed. With a smile they took our order and gladly served us our food. We ordered the gluten-free waffle and gluten-free pancakes, and they were fantastic.
Working with Dakota was a pleasure through every step of the process. She made sure she understood what kind of cake design we were looking for and also made sure we understood any limitations, as well as different price points. The gluten-free cake she made was gorgeous, exactly as described, and absolutely delicious--loved the buttercream! We got lots of compliments on it. The whole experience working with Dakota was excellent.
Setting is wonderful. Lunch menu good. Dinner menu is limited and overpriced. Can't get burger or tater tots at dinner anymore. We ordered a meal that was supposed to be celiac safe but the staff left an ingredient that could have been gluten. We used to be frequent guests but we won't be any longer. They should bring back other options for dinner menu.
