Starbird chicken is our family's new favorite food restaurant. This is the second location we have visited in the Bay area and they were both fantastic. As a gluten free family our kids love the gluten free chicken and the reasonably priced children's menu with the excellent choices of craft drinks. I love going because their chicken salad is the best fast food salad out there and I appreciate the healthier option. Highly recommend trying in person if you haven't already. The staff were extra friendly and helpful ❤️
the staff and everyone was friendly asff!! Love the food even doe im a picky eater and with a little mistake in our food we got an apology from the chef. Gluten and vegan friendly!! Very cheap price too 100% recommend
Ate here for the first time on Tuesday evening. We had very nice service from Mike, he was gracious , professional and helpful. Loved the menu. They had a special menu for gluten free and also special items for vegan and items for non fish or seafood eating guest. You can make substitutions or add chicken, fish or skirt steak to anything. Other then too much dressing on my salad that made it soggy, it was delicious. I would love to go back. They have hour food and drink menu too M- F 3-6. And Tue is half price bottle of wine night.
The service was great, but I ordered a gluten free, vegan cheese burger and told them my allergy was severe. Within 10 minutes of finishing my meal I was extremely sick. I have been sick the rest of the day and we were in town for a concert. It ruined the next 6 hours of our day/night.
Aqui Campbell is a vibrant and unique dining spot known for its “swirls” — creative, colorful cocktails with layered flavors. The menu is diverse, offering a fusion of Latin-inspired and Californian flavors in an upscale yet casual setting. The dishes are fresh, inventive, and often include vegan and gluten-free options, making it a versatile choice for different dietary needs. The ambiance is lively and laid-back, ideal for groups or casual outings. Some might find the counter-service style unexpected for the quality, but the food and drink presentation more than make up for it.
I love Locanda Sorrento! IMHO it is, hands down, one of the best Italian places around! The food is absolutely fantastic, the people are amazing, the atmosphere is great and their wine selection always has interesting and tasty options. Their gluten free options are really delicious and plentiful. My friends that aren't gluten free have remarked on how delicious and amazing their regular pizza/ pasta is. 10/10 reccomend.
Nice outside patio in the sun! They make it feel like Italy with the textured cobblestone like floor, warm wood windows and string lights overhead. The music 🎶 really makes the atmosphere…some catchy, upbeat Italian songs. We came here to try their charcoal pizza which supposedly is good for detoxification and is good for digestion. They recommended the spicy sausage. If you have dairy allergies, they have vegan cheese which is made from soy. They have an extensive menu both regular and vegan and seem to be authentically Italian. Their salad has a light citrusy dressing and high quality olive oil base. They also have a long list of desserts - one is gluten free and vegan. It’s good if you like regular Italian style pizza…or want to try novelties like charcoal pizza. This is a vegan persons dream come true!
Parking is awful. Once inside the store is nicely organized, clean and not too busy on sat or sun morning. After work and late weekend lines are crazy and lots of items out of stock. Employees are super friendly. Need more gluten free items.
The food was great and many gluten free options. The drinks are also really good and ready to grab. I felt great after eating my salad and satisfied. Would recommend.
I ordered a gluten free small pizza with regular sauce, to be gluten free was better than I was expecting but instead of putting regular sauce they put white sauce. I placed order over the phone and told me pizza was going to be ready from 15-20 minutes, when I got to the place to pick up my pizza was ready, people were friendly. Is a good place to fill up your tummy.
Excellent selection of wine including sparkling wines. Tried the flight of bubbles and found all three selections to be delicious! A limited menu for food but everything I've tried on it has been delicious. There meet and cheese plates are all very good. More recently I had the chicken and herbed mustard. A chicken breast sauteed seasoned with a really delicious creamy tarragon mustard. Served with a fennel in arugula salad on the side. Their menu is marked to let you know which dishes are gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free.
This place is worth the hype! I'm gluten free and was able to get their Mexican hash....sooo good!!! My husband got the smorew french toast and loved it:). It was his birthday too and they treated him super great! Kid friendly as well. Loved our waiter top, so kind!
Honestly the food looked so good, but there aren’t a lot of gluten and dairy free options. I was there for an event so it was a set menu and my friends said the food was good. Specifically the garlic truffle(?)noodle dish!
Debuted at Farmers Markets in 2012 Manresa Bread has since expanded to five storefronts, a Christmas Eve visit to the Campbell location tallying $119 including tax, tip and mandatory 3% “Service Fee” suggesting David Kinch won’t go broke despite shuttering his Michelin 3* flagship.
Citing “Quality of Ingredients, Quality of Technique, and Quality of Learning” as core values, and doing a good job of convincing national media that Avery Ruzicka's Monkey Bread should sell out moments after opening, guests at Manresa Bread can expect dense $8 Biscuits and $7.50 Lattes plus Pain au Chocolat so underfilled that the taste is nearly imperceptible.
“Utilizing what is around us” in the case of local Flour milled in-house daily, though one does wonder if Los Gatos secretly grows Pineapples used in the “Upside Down Kouign Amann,” better choices include the classic version wet with Butter at the base but crunchy from middle on up.
Seasonal as relates to Cranberries, assertive in the case of a Gluten Free Polenta Muffin and balanced by Goat Cheese in the middle of Viennoiserie, Proteins come in the form of Housemade Sausage or crisp Bacon on a $15 BLT brightened by Vinaigrette on good Bread.
Not forgetting an Almond Croissant, lots of rise and natural Filling far better than the Frangipane mess served elsewhere, it seems safe to say that using Whole Wheat doesn’t make Ruzicka's Chocolate Chip Cookie anymore “healthy” though the 50/50 ratio of Walnuts to Dark Chocolate does make it less sweet and more compelling than most.
Living Room Coffee Craft is a lovely place to meet with a small group or with a friend or if you want a nice place to get some work done. There are plenty of comfortable seating options inside as well as a few outside tables. Parking is plentiful and easy. Do check the times before you go to make sure they are open. As far as what to get, their coffee is as beautiful to look at as it is tasty and, if you are a tea drinker, check out the London Fog (not pictured). If you want a bite to eat, their brown butter cake (usually made with berries but can vary) is divine and many of my friends will go here just to get the cheese waffle (which I believe is gluten free but please confirm).
If you select gluten free noodles, the rest of the ramen dish is NOT gluten free, and there is no information on their menu or website indicating that. We called (after ordering, out of an abundance of caution) and were told of course only the noodles were gluten free and not the whole dish. Not sure what the point is of offering gf noodles if there are NO fully gf ramen options.
What a pleasant surprise. We walked in because the Mexican next door had a 45min.wait to discover a real gem of Mediterranean affordable menu. The service was friendly and accommodated my husband who is on a gluten free diet by offering to replace some sides. Going back soon!
Absolutely obsessed 🤩 my go to is super chicken taco 🌮 it’s delicious and fresh. Gluten free also. Esmeralda is friendly , I go here so much it’s almost like my second home 😅
I wanted to love this restaurant and was looking forward to eating here. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the location is great, which is why it's such a shame that the food is terrible. It's like they know they have those two components down so there's no effort with the food. I'll never eat here again.
We ordered our food and waited almost an hour for the meal to arrive. Meat was ordered medium and arrived rare, ribs were dry and hard to cut through (despite being told they'd fall off the bone), was explicit with the wait staff that our burger needed to be gluten free so we ordered it without fries and bun, waitress marked it gluten allergy. Burger arrived with fries, which are not gluten free, on the plate. So if you have celiac disease, don't eat here.
We were a large party so I can slightly understand the longer wait for our food, but based on what came out I'm really at a loss. To add insult to injury right before the meal arrived the wait staff came and removed a bunch of our silverware that we had not used, and it looked to me like they put it back in bins to use on other tables. Kinda gross that cutlery that had been sitting at our table with us (mind you there were kids at the table too) would be reused?
This could be a great restaurant if any care was put on the food. It's extremely overpriced as it is.
My wife and I went here last Saturday for an impromptu date night. We sat outside. The service was prompt and friendly. We are both gluten free and they were very accommodating. I ordered the vegan/gf ravioli and my wife the Branzino. The food, the wine and cocktail all tasted great and the prices were reasonable! Highly recommend!
