Not very gluten friendly, at all. Nothing I asked about was gluten free, no bread options, sauces had gluten in them. So we had wine & shared a garden salad.
This is one of those places you walk and and think, this is going to be really good, or really bad. It was REALLY good. I had the gluten free pizza and it was one of the best I've had. Very worth the stop!
One of the best places in manitou springs. Customer service is beyond compare, 10/10. The staff working here are so nice, compassionate and very accommodating to allergies like gluten sensitivity. I would recommend this place to anybody wanting to eat in manitou. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was.
I had really high hopes after hearing great things, however I was really disappointed, and left sick.
I told our server I was gluten free, and let her know she can just remove anything with gluten, there’s no pressure to replace, etc.
I was excited when she said there was gluten free bread that could be substituted, however I ate my salad, after confirming it was gf, and immediately felt sick. I figured it was a mistake, I can’t blame the girl as it’s 9pm on a Saturday and we had a late reservation, after Valentine’s Day, so I tried to move on and just eat very little the rest of the night. Then our next course came out, again with regular bread on it, which thankfully I double checked and she brought the gf option. The third course, same thing. The fourth course? Same thing. Another couple came, ate, and left with at least 1/2 hour less than us and notably MUCH better service. We felt ignored, unheard and just like we were another number to get out the door. For spending $200 on Valentine’s Day I couldn’t be more disappointed, especially in a small business.
Great food and eventually great service. We were told no reservation necessary on the phone, to arrive to a thirty minute wait. Servers looked stressed and reluctant to offer a table. It seemed there wasn't an official host at the stand. When we were sat, our server was excellent and accommodating.
The menu is small but executed well. Great classic fare. Steaks fish and duck all cooked well and played nicely.
Items noted to be gluten free on menu. The online menu was priced different then the in person menu.
Went in May 2025 and had a great experience. While there is no dedicated gluten free menu, the waitress asked the kitchen to just warm my corn taco and not put on grill or fryer to limit cross contamination. I had the taco meal with rice and refried beans and felt fine afterward. We had a large group and the waitress was great - kept our drinks filled, checked on us periodically, and was very friendly.
