Wonderful food and warm service from
The owner onsite who is celiac herself.
How refreshing is it to be welcomed into a restaurant with my gluten allergy instead of tolerating me. They get it and are careful.
The lasagna was amazing the other night in fact it was gone so fast I didn’t know what happened to it 😀
I just had to share my recent visit to The Alchemist! I was there for a business meeting and hadn’t been back in quite some time. I was immediately impressed by the overall aesthetics and layout—it has truly been enhanced since my last visit.
I had previously avoided dining here due to food allergies, assuming they couldn’t accommodate. I initially ordered an herbal tea and planned to skip the food, but the person I was meeting encouraged me to ask about their options—and I’m so glad I did!
To my surprise, they offer gluten-friendly breads as well as vegan and vegetarian options. I was extremely impressed—not only was the gluten-free bread delicious, but they also didn’t overcharge for it, which is rare.
I also had a small mix-up with my payment, accidentally using the wrong credit card. Even though they weren’t accustomed to processing a return and recharging a different card, Mauricio, Tekhi, and Elaine quickly problem-solved and made it happen seamlessly.
The customer service here is outstanding, and the entire experience left me beyond satisfied. If you’re looking to support a local business that truly values its customers, provides a welcoming atmosphere, and offers great gluten-friendly options, The Alchemist is the place to go! Highly recommend!
Love this vegan place! What a gem. Have a few gluten free options and are very sensitive to allergies which is important to me because I’m allergic to gluten! The vegan Shepard’s pie, edamame noodles, and salads were delicious! Also loved the fresh orange juice. Highly recommend. Which I found them sooner!
We had an amazing experience here! The personal was so friendly and they helped us with what we were trying to look for (gluten/dairy/sugar free options) they had a lot of them what's amazing! Also they have fruit and chocolate and candies (not sugar free but just to know)
The yogurt was so good, so yummy and I think the prices are really good too. I'll definitely come back!
LOVE this place! Their smoothies and bowls are so good, we’ll made and always so fresh! Most other places dilute their bowls with alot of ice, they don’t do that here. I can taste the difference as I make the bowls at home myself. However this place is very close to home and worth the cost for convenience and quality. Also their coconut tapioca gluten free cake is just - mmmmmm!!! The owners are very nice, super sweet. The type of shop local you want to support with no compromise to quality.
Warning: This place has a plethora of cheese. Hope that's your thing.
My dish did not fall short in the cheese department! My Mac and Cheese w/bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich was hot, ooey gooey, creamy, fatty, scrumptious, and CHEESY! The waffle style bread was crunchy and perfect. My waffle fries on the side were crunchy, but was missing seasoning.
A 98 yr old man once gave me advice to "Toast your bread and add ingredients to it". I think I did that today. Also, I will add this place is in dedication to an unforgettable spirit "Magic" Michael Entenza, he passed too soon at age 24.
I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door, and was free to seat myself. My server made recommendations on the menu and was personable throughout my visit.
The menu has plentiful choices and shows considerations for dietary needs suck as vegan, vegetarian, and gluten conscious.
Dining room may be petite, but the environment and decoration on the walls keeps your mind busy. I love this neat little place!! Can't wait to come back.

I was visiting from the west coast and happened to come across this place on google. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this restaurant. Everything was so amazing. The food was awesome and it was so nice to see many gluten free options on the menu. My martini was fabulous. Our server and host were so polite and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely stop by again when we are in the area next time. It was one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have had in awhile.
The flank steak with provolone empanada is awesome!!! Actually all the empanadas are delicious, even have vegan gluten free empanadas, good coffee and excellent service.
There isn't much parking but if you don't mind walking a block, there is a public parking lot.
If you haven’t tried this place yet you are in fact missing out. The bagels are AMAZING! Huge portions. They have tons of vegan friendly bagels and even 1 gluten free option. There is a vegan cream cheese but I didn’t try it. Staff is all super helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!
Healthy and filling option for a good bite on the drive! Loved being able to customize my salad to make it even more enjoyable, especially being gluten free. Staff is friendly and fun.
Topped off my order with great refresher (may I recommend the Thirsty Boy??) to enjoy during my walk, too.
We had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant, and we’re so glad we made the effort to visit. Our server, Wilson, was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We have a gluten sensitivity, and Wilson made multiple trips to the kitchen, collaborating closely with the chef to modify menu items to accommodate our needs. Kudos to the chef for their exceptional work!
The deviled eggs were a standout dish, with their unique and delicious flavors. The pork belly tacos were simply out of this world. I highly recommend the chicken agrodolce; it was one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had. If you’re in the area, I highly suggest giving this place a try!
