Celiacs beware!! I visited this restaurant for the first time last Friday in the hopes of enjoying some yummy GF pasta. I'm allergic to both wheat and gluten so I don't eat pasta often, however I saw signage on store front offering Gluten Free options - excited to try it out I went inside and spoke with someone in food prep. I asked the young woman preparing my food what they use in their GF noodles (rice, corn, garbanzo, etc.) and she did not know nor did she care to find out. Against my better judgement, I still proceeded to order because frankly I was hungry. Once my order was ready, I asked the person in food prep again, (just to be sure) that my order was in fact GF. She replied that it was and how she made sure to use the GF noodles for my meal. Unfortunately, it was not GF, and I was sick most of the night (I ate dinner around 4pm that day). I will never return to this restaurant and I would strongly advise other Celiacs to stay away.
This is an INCREDIBLE restaurant. The food was VERY authentic and it tasted AMAZING! Also, the atmosphere was GREAT and the restaurant is very clean. The staff was also extremely nice and very knowledgeable about my gluten allergy. I highly recommend this restaurant and my husband and I will definitely be repeat customers!
