The gentleman who was working seemingly alone was extremely helpful, the place was clean and cozy, and the food was amazing. Great selection, very tasty, and the menu included vegan and gluten-free items; my sister is allergic to gluten, eggs, and all things bovine, and she loves pizza, which makes Your Pie a dream come true for the family.
One of the only places my daughter can eat, because of her food allergies with soy and gluten, she absolutelyloves their Quesadillas and bowls! I really like their buffalo chicken burritos, sooo good! Only downside is they have but two locations in Cedar Falls and Waterloo, PLEASE make your next one in Waverly or better still Shell Rock 😉
I’ve never been to the actual bakery, but I have gotten these products from the Hyvee health market freezer section and I have to say after having the chocolate chip cookie bars and the cinnamon rolls they are both my absolute favorite desert ever; they are so moist and delicious! I have had other products as well and they are all so amazing! I hope whoever this baker is never stops! If I was magically cured of celiac and able to eat whatever I wanted I would still prefer these gluten free baked goods from here!
I eat at Culver's rarely because I am not into yogurt. Also the burgers are so greasy that the bottom bun is soaked. I don't like that. Not today. It was dry and I loved it. My GF was able to get gluten free food also. She liked hers sandwich. It would be nice if they had more than one toilet. One sit down is it. Not enough. People travel and dine in and it holds about 50 people. Yep a line. Not fun. Other than that it was great. I would go back there.
Amber's Cakes were so good!!! We got our wedding cake and some cupcakes from her, and they were delicious. I usually don't eat gluten free baked goods, and I couldn't tell with Amber's desserts, and they were so tasty! She made our cake a custom flavor and decorated it beautifully. I loved the flowers she put on the cake. We also got some cupcakes dairy-free for our dietary-restricted guests, and we only heard high praises about those cupcakes. Thanks Amber!
Love the music here. I've been here several times. The staff are super friendly and the food is good. I have Celiac disease. I've tried the gluten free taco, sausage, and pepperoni pizzas. My favorite is the pepperoni. I have it several times, and I have not gotten sick from contamination.
This place met expectations. Food and service was good. Refills didn't come for anyone who didn't finish their drink before the food was served and those who did only got one refill. Restaurant was clean and wateress did take a picture of our gathering for us. I can see going back there in the future as it's the half way point from some family in Minnesota. They do have gluten free options which was important to us.
2 of our group have Celiacs. We were in the area for professional development & googled for gluten free. The portions are huge & food delicious! The prices on menu have tax & everything included. They are allergy conscious here, but not a seperate menu. They have you pay with cash or check obly-so know before you go. We'd all come back sometime.
My family loves Try Pie. They are about the only place in the Cedar Valley where we can get a treat that is accommodating towards those with a gluten sensitivity. Their staff has always been accommodating whenever we’ve needed to order a gluten free pie. While all their pies are delicious, our go-to is the raspberry.
We loooove Chilitos! They are knowledgeable about gluten allergies, super accommodating, and their salsa and margs are *chef’s kiss*! Highly recommend! And the owners are the kindest ever.
gluten free menu makes it easier for my family to enjoy eating here. Service was great and food was good. Housemade salad dressing was awesome. Garlic bread had good flavor but crust was too hard and crunchy
I'm not going to dock stars because they didn't have gluten free bread. The workers were extremely courteous and they had genuine smiles on their faces. My food was made to perfection. Definitely worth a stop!
Fantastic little pizza place. Very nice laid back atmosphere. We tried one of each crust. The Neapolitan was large and great for our kid, we shared a Detroit supreme that was fantastic, and the gluten-free eater in our family was very pleased with her mushroom pie.
Simple menu, and easy ordering. Gluten-free is not listed on the menu but if you call or ask in person they can make it.
Ansborough Domino's is as good as it gets. Always fast, hot, and they never mess up my crazy complicated orders. Been a customer for years, will continue to be. Awesome!! Great gluten free crust too!
Great meal overall; My parents and I were looking for a restaurant as we left Waterloo, IA, and my mom saw the Highway 63 Diner. I googled it to find out if they were open. Yes, they were. Jodi was our waitress, and she was very helpful. My mom and I ate non-gluten meals. I had grouper. Mom had grilled chicken. My mother's mixed vegetables were good, but they were too al dente. Jodi offered to heat them some more. That was great. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. There are many large booths, and the dining area is neat and clean. I would recommend Highway 63 Diner if you are in the Waterloo, Iowa area.
My first Kombucha bar! Exceeded expectations. Wish weather was dry to play corn hole. Everything from decor to style to taste to flavors were on point. I love being able to order food that I usually can't eat because of gluten and dairy, the gluten free fried chicken, crisp & juicy, not greasy. I felt welcomed from the moment we walked in the door.
