Okome is by far my favorite place to eat in lexington for fast food. I don’t ever feel guilty eating it since it’s so healthy and gluten free. They give such generous portions & one bowl is so much food i always have leftovers for a good price. Definitely recommend

Helpful staff upfront. Was knowledgeable of my gluten-free needs and kindly answered my questions. Ordered the wok tossed fried rice with steak and it was great. Beware, it is a huge serving. Also enjoyed the gluten free egg roll. Accompanied both of those with the gluten free soy sauce that they had available. It was a great meal for an even greater price. I would absolutely go back.

What started out as a not so good service, was turned in to a good one. My daughter has celiac, and I ordered a gluten free dinner to go. When I arrived home, there was flour tortillas in her meal. I called the restaurant back, talked to the manager Gali. She apologized and hand delivered her a new meal. I can’t thank Gali enough for caring about the service and my daughter condition enough to offer correction.
Papi’s, great choice as a manager.
Gali, keep up the great work.
I LOVE it here. The staff were really attentive to my gluten allergy and generous with their portions. They were also very friendly and efficient. They went above and beyond!
I can't say enough about how great BabyCakes is! My family and I order from this business every chance we get, and some of my friends have become customers too because they loved the cupcakes! Everything they make is so delicious, it's hard to choose favorite flavors. We also keep coming back because of the many options for family members who eat gluten free and/or vegan. Seriously, the owner is a cupcake queen - if you order here, you'll probably be a repeat customer like my family!
This was an amazing experience. My meal was fantastic (many gluten free options including dessert). Our server was knowledgeable and so awesome! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Yall! This is the place! Fellow vegetarians/vegans, this is an incredible spot to check out. Blue has an extensive vegan sushi menu & it is DIVINE.
I have never had any sushi I’ve enjoyed, so I was uncertain at first. I met my parents here for dinner since they are huge sushi lovers & I wasn’t sure what to expect. This was absolutely some of the best food I’ve had in a minute at a restaurant as a vegetarian. Started off with the charred edamame, bc who doesn’t love a great bowl of edamame before dinner? I use to not love sushi bc of the seaweed wrap, so I was happy to know they had alternatives, soy rice paper & cucumber. I enjoyed their Thai & Crunchy Cabbagge rolls. I was shocked at how much I loved sushi, even went back a day later lol. Everything was super tasty. The flavors & textures were everything!!! Not only was the food great, but I highly recommend sitting at the bar. Our bartender Gabrielle provided excellent service. My family & I appreciated your kindness! Gabrielle was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. My mom is gluten free & we are always grateful when our server is eager to help & knows how to accommodate.
Thank you for your service, can’t wait to come back!
We love dining at Corto Lima. This place knows how to do Mexican food in a way that will surprise it's guests! Their menu is filled with an array of delicious dishes that are sure to satisfy your palate. And there are quite a few vegan and gluten free dishes for those v/gf peeps.
Let's start with their guacamole because it's been our go to. It's rich and bursting with flavor. Served on a grape leaf and topped with finely chopped onions and tomatoes, you can really taste the freshness of the avocados, and it was just the right amount of tangy. Without a doubt, we're in love with their guac!
The spicy margs are exceptional as well. They use a cousin to the jalapeno that gives the marg a more reddish tint and taste even fresher. Very well done.
We also tried their ceviche which was good but not what you'd normally expect from a ceviche dish. It came topped with corn nuts which added an interesting twist. Definitely worth trying if you're up for something different.
Among our favorites was definitely the Lomo Saltado. The flavors were bold and spicy which made it mouth-wateringly good! The meat was tender and cooked to perfection.
Of course, you really can't go wrong ordering any of their tacos. Just slightly smaller portions.
If you're in search of scrumptious Mexican food that stays true to its roots while offering unique twists, this place won't disappoint!
My wife has celiac so we’re always looking for good gluten free options. Simply put, the food was very good while the service was very bad. The workers were short, apathetic, and borderline rude. Maybe they were just having a bad day? 🤷🏻Be kind. It’s free and easy!
I was very disappointed with the gluten free pizzas. The crust was soggy and in general the taste of the pizza was not good. The pineapple on the pizza was hard and not ripe. I thought it was outrageously expensive as well. I paid $92 dlls for 3 pizzas, an appetizer and a small salad. No drinks. We all had water. I could have paid less money at a nicer place with much better food such as Carson’s or Bella Norte as this was a special occasion. We celebrated Mother’s Day here.
A hidden gem!
On our most recent roadtrip, we wanted to find a small business restaurant to support. Being in Lexington, the “bourbon” part of the title interested me. When trying to to find this restaurant, the GPS took us directly to it, but there was a restaurant about two doors down that we thought was actually this restaurant. Come to find out, there is a small window and door and that is where this gem lies.
Then we realized that it did not actually have anything to do with the drink bourbon, but more on the lines of Bourbon Street when it came to Mardi Gras. This did not deter us, though, as we were in love when we walked inside. Very colorful atmosphere, Mardi Gras beads hanging all over the place, Local and Louisiana type art decorating the walls and tables.
Upon entering, the worker who was extremely friendly, explained everything about the dishes and how they came. We were very impressed by him! 😀
We ordered two dishes that were half-and-half. One had Chicken Etouffee and Gumbo. The other was Red Beans/Sausage and Chicken Creole. Once I took a bite, I was instantly taken back to my childhood when I lived in Biloxi, Mississippi. Something about the taste just took me all the way back. I’m not even sure which item it was that I tasted or mixture of everything that it brought back. I cannot forget the butter bread. That was probably one of the most amazing breads I have ever tasted and went very well with these meals. 🍞
They had numerous sauces to accompany your meals. The food definitely had a kick in a few areas, but it was absolutely amazing! 🔥
I would come here again and again and suggest others give it a try if you haven’t and are in the area!
A very laid back setting. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available.
We drive a semi truck and we wanted pizza. I eat gluten free. I looked at the near by places and decided on Puccini's due to the rave reviews about the GF crust. We dropped the trailer at a truck stop and drove about 20 miles. I asked about the different sauces because....I DO NOT like red sauce on my pizza. I decided with the garlic/parm/butter for the sauce ON the pizza. We order our food to go. (Hubby got his own pizza). Our order is ready, we leave, I grab a piece of pizza en route back to our trailer....and the pizza has red sauce on it. I figure maybe there was some miscommunication between the guy at the register and myself. Whatever, we don't have time to go back. We got back to the trailer and now I can see the pizza...it has onions on it - I don't like onions and I did not order onions, I ordered mushrooms because they were fresh and not canned. There were no mushrooms on my pizza. I ordered GF crust, garlic/parm sauce, pepperoni, green pepper, black olives, and mushrooms. Either they gave me someone else's pizza or the cashier was not on his game. The hubby gives his Ultimate Warrior 4 stars. I would love to rate the GF crust however hard to tell with the red sauce on it. I scraped off most the red sauce because the cheese layer slid right off. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to some tasty pizza. - signed Pamela, the disappointed wife.

First time at BJs in Lexington and we are so glad we stopped. Our server Angel was amazing and kind! All the items we tried were delicious! Our party had the Kickin' chicken sandwich, gluten free chicken bacon ranch pizza, broccoli cheese soup, cheeseburger sliders, and couscous mac and cheese balls. Also the pizookies were a hit, I would recommend the triple chocolate one.

The food was lackluster, my tacos were dry, and the flavors were just ok. The service was absolutely minimal, a little snippy at the register and food delivery was fine. The atmosphere is loud, and kinda worn out but clean. I thought this place was great when it opened. I went every week, but I became gluten intolerant and they only have 3 tacos that I can eat, so I've only come back a couple of times. Both visits in the last year were like this so I feel fine saying that it's mediocre.
Writing this review for our server, Will. He was very attentive in our needs, especially for Carol who has a Gluten allergy. He helped her with the menu and explained everything in detail. He insured that she received what she asked for and made sure everything was not contaminated for her. He took very good care of our table and made sure we had everything we needed. Please give him a raise because you have a gold mine working for you that really cares for the customer. Please tell him thank you again from Carol, Walt, Jennie and Greg.
An eclectic bbq joint, that makes you feel like you’ve walked into your grandmas kitchen. As someone with celiac disease, I’ve never had a problem eating here as they have clear gf markings on their signage and menus. They also have great sweet tea!
Food was great but at this particular location they do NOT have dedicated pans and fryers unlike the app says they do. They have lots of gluten free options and are very understanding and accommodating, but also are upfront about how their food is handled. They had a sign talking about their policies and that there is a risk of cross contamination.
The information on Atly is incorrect, but they do have tasty gluten free food. Just a decent risk of cross contamination.
We loved our location in Georgetown and wish they would come back! Great gluten-free options including pancakes. Prices have increased and that is the only reason I don’t give Josie’s 5 stars. Coffee is $3.50. Selections and portions are above average. Would like to see seasonal or weekly specials. I chose the grilled pork chops on this visit. If I’m going to spend almost $20 on breakfast with water for one person I might as well get my money’s worth. Generous portion of meat and potatoes. Felt like one of the few choices priced appropriately.
I tried it today but definitely got glutened! I ordered a butter burger with a gluten free bun and a side salad. My tummy is VERY upset an hour or so after eating it😩😩😩
Excellent food, good selection of toppings. They have a gluten-free, vegan crust and cheese. You can build your own to meet those dietary needs. They are cognizant of allergies.
Danielle was our server..she was absolutely phenomenal, excellent service, excellent food. We had a gluten allergy at our table, she took the time to make sure the food was prepared properly. Ordered a Hanava Coconut mixed drink, would definitely order again. Overall, A+++ from our table. If in the area, we would return again

Great pizza at this location. My daughter has Celiacs and this is her favorite gluten free pizza. Most importantly, she's never gotten sick eating here
Good bulk food store with some fantastic specialty products in the spice section and elsewhere. The bulk food section could use gluten free flour, peanut butter protein, and whey protein. The granola is a little overpriced too ( 7 bucks a pound on average). But they are the only option for bulk food in Lex so take what you can get. Bulk coffee beans are in dirty dispensers which had a heavy buildup of rancid oil coating the sides. For light roast coffee, you don't want to see oily beans. So for 16 bucks a pound on average you are getting an inferior coffee. All of the granola currently on hand is gluten free but not necessarily celiac friendly and is around 5 bucks a pound. Charging 16 dollars a pound for gluten free granola is a ripoff given the supply of gluten free foods.
A WinCo food store in Lexington would provide healthy competition for this establishment's bulk section.
Celiac's friendly!
Lots of gluten free options. Staff was very accommodating when it comes to cross contamination (changing gloves, new food containers, etc.). Thank you!
MOD is and has been my favorite pizza place for years! Started going there when they opened up in Michigan and now moved here and get to keep enjoying it here and I'm so grateful! They have the best Gluten free crust and Vegan cheese pizza. Hands down my most highly recommended pizza place for Gluten free goers. You won't regret it!
Went here and got some seasonal fall items.
They include
- Cookie Butter Frappe (gluten free)
- Reece Pieces Pop tart (gluten free)
Cookie butter frappe was pretty good, it doesn't really remind me of Cookie butter all too much, but by no means was it bad.
The Reece Pieces Poptart was very good. The crust on the pop tart was a bit dry and crumbly, but when you get a bit with the filling it tastes pretty good. The Reece pieces also add a nice subtle crunch in the mix.
Overall my experiences at this location have been fantastic. Service is incredible, the atmosphere is really chill and adds positively to the dining experience. And lastly of course, the food and drinks are noteworthy and are 100% better than any Starbucks coffee or snack.
Eat here now.

Great for dietary restrictions and gluten free options! The servers are so kind and always handle my food allergies with great care. If you're looking for southern-homestyle cooking on a gluten or dairy free diet, Ramseys will take good care of ya!
5-Star Experience at Everest Nepalese & Indian Cuisine
My wife and I had dinner here last night with a friend, and everything from start to finish was outstanding. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and offered our choice of seating—we chose a spot near the large glass windows, which offered plenty of natural light and a welcoming atmosphere.
The menu is impressive—packed with delicious-sounding options. We started with the chicken and vegetable *Sadheko Momo*—if you've never had momo, it's similar to a dumpling. These were bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and somehow both fresh and satisfying. A fantastic start to the meal.
For dinner, we shared the *Newari Khaja Set* (which is gluten-free), and it was truly a feast: beaten rice with a wasabi-like kick, chicken choila, piroo aloo, vegetable curry, sautéed black-eyed peas, soybean sadeko, fried egg, lentil pancake (bara), tomato achaar, papadum, and dessert. Every bite offered a new flavor to appreciate. The egg added a crispy touch, and the curry was deeply flavorful. The dessert—imagine a sweet hush puppy in a pool of maple syrup—was the perfect ending.
Service was excellent: our server was kind, attentive without hovering, and gave us time to enjoy everything at a relaxed pace.
If you're a fan of Indian or Nepalese cuisine—or just love trying something new—Everest is a must. We’ll definitely be back!
We had a very gluten sensitive child with us and Desiree went above and beyond to make sure everything was cooked right for her. Very pleasant and helpful. And all of our meals were delicious.
A few years ago, we decided that we would use NBC for all of our families birthdays and any party we hosted-big to small. And we have 7 kids.
We’ve walked in loads of times and they have always had what we needed in stock and ready to go(from gluten free to a variety of the holiday bundtinis) and we’ve also utilized the online order ahead system-love that!
We’ve never had a bad experience and I will say that every single time we’ve gone into this location, the ladies have always, ALWAYS been so nice and they’ve always greeted me(huge plus for me)! Their merchandise (I haven’t purchased any) is always so inspiring and well presented.
Five guys is always top notch service anywhere you go. This Lexington location was no exception!
Walked in at 12pm on a Monday and walked straight to the counter to order.
Lady was very bubbly and fun to interact with, service was excellent and fast! Our food was ready within 5 mins of ordering and was absolutely delicious!
My grandmother got a low-carb/gluten-free bacon hamburger wrapped in Lettuce with fries. I got the regular bacon hamburger with cajun fries.
Thank you for your friendly, top-notch service, clean atmosphere and great experience Five Guys- Lexington!
What a wonderful restaurant! The service was always amazing and welcoming. We stayed in Lexington for a week vacation and appreciated the homestyle cooking Sutton's has. Our family tried almost everything on the menu and were always satisfied. They were also able to accommodate a gluten intolerance. Thank you!
The food is always fantastic - that's a given, but I learned during this most recent visit they are happy to help with dietary restrictions - they have gluten free buns (and they were good!) And they put any ingredients you might be sensitive to on the side (for my husband to enjoy).
I took my daughters out to Parlor as a treat, we were first timers here. There is meter parking on the side of the building and a small strip of free parking in the back, parking was pretty good for the area.
The 4 of us each got a donut, and the 4 of us have different reviews.
Service was phenomenal, the staff was so friendly and patient.
As for the food, we got the vegan option of their donuts and they come gluten free which was nice because i needed mine to be both gluten free and vegan.
I personally wasnt a fan, but understand i am a plain jane kinda gal, and these are fancy gourmet donuts. It was great for what its supposed to be, but not for me preference wise.
My daughter however LOVED it. Shes more of a classy gal, she loves fancy places and macarons lol so this was right up her alley.
They are on the more expensive side, but what isn't these days? Also, again, i would consider these gourmet donuts. Think along the realm of crumble cookie in donut form with a more hipster vide to it.
Give them a try.

I come here often for the gluten free donuts. I bought half a dozen and when I went to open them I was disappointed to find a bug stuck on the icing on one of the donuts.
I absolutely LOVE this place! They have Gluten free options!!! Pad Thai, fried rice, even some other things that I haven't had in a long time. Definitely recommend the Pad Thai, it's my favorite!
