We stumbled upon this place recently and I am thrilled that we did. Great selection of grab and go items, including so many gluten-free options. All very fresh and delicious. The gluten-free strawberry shortcake was amazing and the clerk helpful and knowledgeable. Bonus, they have a nice shaded patio on the side of the building. Can't say enough positive things about Janna's!
A must visit if you’re in the surrounding area! The coffees are delicious! I’ve enjoyed their unique lattes and an oat milk latte and their flavors hold up well. This bakery is a safe haven for gluten free individuals! The crustless quiche is my favorite and the monkey bread pull aparts are a must try!! My gluten full family has enjoyed all of the various foods they carry. Also, make sure to leave yourself some extra time to shop their goodies in the shop - a little self care shopping is always recommended!
The food is wonderful, truly a delight. The staff are amazing and kind and so very careful if you tell them about food allergies or dietary needs. They provide gluten-free and diary free options as well as carefully avoiding other food allergies on request. We have eaten there a handful of times and have always been pleased. My son loves the pad thai with tofu and the pineapple fried rice. He adores their mango sticky rice, and I agree! The perfect balance of fresh delicious fruit with perfectly prepared delicious and not overly sweetened rice. I have enjoyed green curry, pinapple curry, red curry, and the tom kha soup. All delightful! The staff remembered us and what we liked and what foods we couldn't have after the very first visit! They actually care about their customers and are incredibly kind. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely restaurant, and we look forward to our next visit.
Hy vee always has the freshest produce in town and largest selection of vegetarian and gluten free options. The deli has delicious sliced meats and other precooked options. We have ordered their dinner options for work several times and the quality was excellent. They offer self check or a cashier. Ample parking close to the door. I love the fuel saver card and online app they offer because I can see what’s on sale before I go shopping and plan meals that way, plus save on fuel which is a huge bonus right now with gas prices being high.
Wide variety of food options, fish, meat, vegetarian, flatbreads, pasta, salads, kids meals. Were able to offer gluten-free bread/buns.
The train going by just a few feet from the edge of the outdoor seating rail and watching it through the large windows on that side - spectacular!
The 4 star on atmosphere was based on how loud it is in the venue. Conversation was a struggle amongst our party of 4, as the volume of all guests are amplified within the brick walls and thus we all speak louder.
The food was good, but at a bit higher price than normal. I was impressed that one of the cooks came to the table to explain that their nachos aren't certified gluten-free as there is cross-contamination. Most places wouldn't take the time to discuss that with a customer, they would just go forward with the order, so huge kudos for that! My only complaint would be that our waitress wasn't real attentive to drink refills, etc.
Such a wonderful place to bring not only yourself, but your whole family. There are delicious protien shakes in so many flavors and most are gluten free or can be customized to be gluten free. My kids loved them! The energy drinks are delicious and refreshing. The staff are so kind and friendly. The place is nice and clean and they have a cute game set up for anyone that wants to play board games, color, or relax. We loved it here.
I'm gluten free so I ordered the cheddar roast beef without a bun. They put the meat in one container, the cheese sauce and Arby's sauce each in a little container. It was all packaged nicely. Seevice was great.
