My daughter has celiac and this is one of the rare places that we have felt safe to take her out to eat. They have the ability to substitute almost half the menu to GF and the pasta was some of the best GF pasta I have had! As long as you communicate clearly the need to dishes to be GF this place is great!
I ordered the spinach and cheese pizza with the cauliflower crust. I didn’t expect much as I’ve had cauliflower crust before, but it was INSANELY delicious. Aniello made the crust from scratch and informed me that the spinach is also homemade. You couldn’t tell it was gluten free, it was pliable and packed with flavour. This is now in my top three pizza spots in NYC. Service was excellent too! Aniello told me this was Neapolitan pizza and the best there is. I’d have to agree!
Very happy to see so many gluten free options on the menu. The place is very cute and has a nice ambiance. Highly recommend the mushroom soup and whole enchilada very flavorful and fresh!
Incredible. Sooooo good and I was very happy to find a place with such delicious gluten-free options. The scallion pancake is out of this world and I also got the black sesame latte, which is so yummy. Honestly, everything is good.
Gluten free friendly and overall perfection! I always go here with the family when they’re visiting and we want pasta. The environment is casual and cozy, just how we like it!
I just landed in NYC after completing the Camino De Santiago. Walking around the city to decompress between flights and happened upon this little gem.
Vibes and service were phenomenal. The people at the counter very friendly, and honestly it was refreshing just to have a bit of Spanish interaction.
I only got a smoothie (delicious!) but the food looked great as well. I also noticed there are several gluten free options.
Great variety of gluten free options. All dishes we ordered were delicious (arepitas, cachapitas, bollitos, héritage tomato salad) . Authentic Venezuelan food with Venezuelan service. Beautiful interior, somewhat noisy.
We came here as a group of 5 later in the night to get some pizza. I found this place for the gluten free pizza option. The others in the group got calamari, burrata pizza, prosciutto pizza and I got the gluten free arugula fig and goat cheese pizza which was a little burnt but other than that was super tasty. The gluten full pizza looked and smelled really good but the gluten free pizza was really delicious! Highly recommend
Tasty, lots of variety, nutritious, and gluten free. I would recommend to send with your college student for a healthy lunch, for your parents or grandparents to have available in their freezer, for busy individuals, for weight loss goals, for new parents, and for any person that could use a healthy stress free meal in a pinch. Not like other freezer meals; these are delicious!
I love the park diner. My friends and I are happy with the service and the food. Wish they had their tomato, bacon, cheese soup everytime I go in, it's gluten free and wonderful. My friends go for different meals but me I'm the liver girl. Been 5 times in 4 weeks and only had to send it back once because it was too well done.
Stopped in in the late afternoon after running some errands and finding Haam after a quick google search of vegan restaurants in the area. The space itself is beautiful and cozy, clean but colorful and filled with bright art and plants. I don’t normally note or care much about the bathrooms in a restaurant, but even the restrooms were pristine and beautifully decorated. We chose to sit in one of the booth tables near the large sunny window. Our server, Rosa, was lovely. She was warm and friendly and was very knowledgeable on the menu and ran through several options and substitution options for my partner with a gluten intolerance. We started with the Island Onigiri. It was so delicious that I failed to take a photo before scarfing the whole thing down. The spiced yellow rice with jerked mushrooms were fantastic with the accompanying chimichurri and crema sauce. This dish was by far the star of the show for me. I could’ve happily eaten a plate full of them. For entrees, we shared the Yuh Motha’s Mofongo (with the mushrooms served on the side for me to enjoy) and the Patacon de Jerk Mushrooms. The coconut curry on the mofungo was incredible and the breading on the oyster mushrooms was to die for - just like southern style fried chicken. The combination of subtly sweet and savory flavors together were just amazing. The Patacon de Jerk Mushrooms was good, but paled in comparison a bit to the other dishes we tried. I would have have probably thought it was very good had I not just had the onigiri to start, but for some reason, the flavor of the jerk mushrooms doesn’t come through quite as much on this dish, though it’s still a good sandwich option for those whole can’t eat wheat or gluten.
I’m always so thrilled to find new vegetarian and vegan options that showcase real culinary skill and delicious flavors, so I’m happy that I now have Haam to add to my rotation and really excited to return to try out more of the menu!
