It's a good place to eat. The service is typically great. The food and drinks are what they should be. I would classify this as a new-school Greek diner. A very casual, inexpensive, sit-down restaurant with a huge variety on the menu to suit a wide variety of tastes. We have many similar restaurants in the northeast.
Some of my family members have celiac (gluten allergy) and Bernie's has done a great job both with preparation as well as variety.
I have one complaint: my gyro platter only had 3 kalamata olives on it! Μαλακίες!

I contacted Sweet Coast Cakes to see about getting a gluten-free grooms cake for my son’s wedding. I was pretty specific about what I wanted and Sweet Coast Cakes did not disappoint! My son‘s favorite cake is German black forest cake (Chocolate cake with cherry and whipped cream filling) and we wanted a cake decorated with a Chinese dragon. The result was absolutely amazing.
