Half Baked Bistro is a must-stop shop in downtown Mount Vernon. Chefs Nav and Rebecca (and their staff) offer absolutely delightful meals to suit any palate. I try to order something different every time, and the food is always phenomenal, bursting with flavor whether I'm in the mood for brisket, pepper pot, chicken, vegan fare or gluten free. A scratch kitchen with top-notch taste, this place has elevated the food offerings for the whole community. Also, the lattes are always nice and hot! 100% recommend, 10/10.

Beyond AMAZING in all aspects!! Our waitress Allison was phenomenal and the chef specials were off the charts! The local mushrooms and the salmon oscar were an explosion of beautiful flavors. Along with the hanger steak with brussel sprouts, it was like no other... Birthday dessert to go... We will definitely be back! Oh and The gluten free options are of the charts💯

The Chipotle I go to is in Mount Vernon. It's within the Kroger shopping center. So there is a lot of traffic going in and out. I have never had any issues with their food. Whether its steak, chicken or carnitas. I get a bowl. But you can get a massive burrito, or 3 soft/hard tacos. Good clean food for 5 or 6 bucks. Rice, beans, cheese, lettace, salsa, and chips. Or course a soda fountain. Their employees are friendly and sometimes cute lol (just the ladies) When the weather is nice, you can eat outside or sit in, and enjoy some tunes. My body doesn't do well with gluten, so I prefer to come here.

Best little coffee shop in town and my regular go to for anything coffee or tea related . It’s a college cafe open to the public so, be prepared for lots of students on laptops etc at the establishment at certain times. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Menu is varied and offers seasonal flavors and specials. Their milk tea is a must try if you want something different or, coffee is not your thing. Also offers a small but delicious choice of regular or gluten free muffins and a buttered herb and cheese biscuit that’s to die for. Competitively priced and always clean and bright . Ask for a coffee sleeve and you’ll receive an inspirational or encouraging message with your beverage. Highly recommend.
