Don't pass this place up! Five stars on everything- great service, great food, great atmosphere. We have food allergies in our family, so we appreciated finding a place that would accommodate us. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, Keto items are all on the menu. Our lovely server was always attentive. The atmosphere is so inviting, just like a warm campfire. Lots of seating, couches, chairs, games, and puzzles. A fun place to hang with friends and family. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into decorating. The murals and art give the place great personality. Next time we drive through this is where we will stop.

I loved this place when it was the Brewer's Union, and I still like it. The menu is pretty good, and the marionberry spinach salad is great. I wish they'd stuck with regular sweet potato fries instead of waffle fries, but that's a minor thing. The atmosphere is wonderful, a real pub that feels very warm and welcoming.
But the last time I was there, my wife and I were very hungry and figured our food would arrive fairly quickly since it was after 8 and the place was nearly empty. After waiting close to 40 minutes, she inquired about our order. Turns out that the bar person never handed it to the cook! 😡
I am VERY understanding and patient when it comes to being kind to retail and food industry staff. But the bar person didn't say "oh no, sorry, I'll take care of it!". Instead, she went on a semi-unintelligible rant about the new guy who didn't something something do something something so it's his fault etc. That's all we got. No offer of free drinks or dessert or to take our salad off the bill or anything. Not even an actual apology. Sometimes people make mistakes, and a major measure of a business is how they handle them. This one was handled very poorly. Remember, there were virtually no customers there, so this wasn't a case of someone being overworked and missing something, or being short staffed. Those cases are irritating, but understandable
I'll still keep coming here, it's a great place, I just want people to do their best, and that wasn't my experience this time. Oh, it was really nice that they converted their fabulous Reuben to gluten-free by turning it into two smaller sandwiches using GF burger buns!
