It is hard to put into words how much I love and respect this place. Everything I've had from here is amazing. The first time I popped in was over a year ago- I legit was almost in tears eating a cinnamon roll. And The chicken pie :,) to die for. Even iced coffee is somehow taken to another level- and it was VEGAN! I would have never guessed any of the items I had here were gluten free OR dairy free if I had not known its a dedicated Gluten Free, Dairy Free, & Wheat free kitchen. This place deserves more recognition. I even am able to try new things that I hadn't had even in my years before I was unable to eat gluten- like today I had a sample of minced fruit pie! its like your regular fruit pie on steroids- way more flavor. I love it!!! (Obviously I bought one lol) and also tried the Veggie pizza and Pepperoni pizzas today and they blew my socks off. Ambiance is great- calm french music, place smells amazing when you walk in. Greeted by friendly and knowledgable staff. Keep doin yo thang, guys! Thank you!!!
The mellow mushroom never disappoints with their wide variety of gourmet pizza options! On this particular occasion we had taken my grandson there as a celebration after his pinewood Derby event. He is gluten and dairy-free. Very few places offer options for him. We really appreciate their eclectic and caring choices in their ingredients.
Blaze Pizza is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting—perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual meal with family. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always in a great mood.
I love the experience of watching them prepare your pizza right in front of you, using fresh ingredients and letting you customize it just how you like it. They offer a wide variety of flavors and combinations, including gluten-free options and fresh salads for those looking for something lighter.
Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. 100% recommended! 🍕🔥
Surprisingly we didn’t have to wait to get seated. Ordered a peach bellini, 7/10, wasn’t sweet sweet but gave a nice little buzz. Also got the breakfast pizza on gluten free crust. (The sausage gravy contains gluten just fyi). That pizza was so good. The chipotle ranch on top is heavenly. Perfect, 10/10. Wanted something sweet so ordered French toast. It was ok. Very nutmeg forward. Liked the vanilla crème on the top. Think it could have benefited from some type of fruit paired with it for a little acid but it did the job. Would rate it a 4.5/10. Enjoyed our breakfast.
I'm gluten, dairy and soy free. I'm on a quest to find safe places to eat when I'm out and about. If I was just gluten free(not celiac), I'd probably put this place in the rotation, but with all three, I wasn't thrilled with it. I had a bacon hamburger with fries. Their website is pretty easy to navigate and it shows all the food allergens, from what I saw, most items had soy. Their website warns of the risk of cross contamination. I thought I was getting the GF bun with my burger, but it came naked. The fries were delicious, fresh, hot and tasty. The burger didn't have much flavor, the bacon was tasty and crisp. I think their might have been soy in something I ate based on how my body reacted. Shout out to the bartender, she made the visit worth it!
Great atmosphere and delicious food. Pricey, but worth it. And, honestly, everything is pricey these days. Treat yourself and have a great time.
I love that they have an actual gluten free menu! It's rare we have so many great options. We enjoyed trout and black cod with asparagus, mashed potatoes, and crabmeat. We even had an extremely delicious gf flourless brownie with strawberry sauce!
Don't forget to ask for crayons to color on the table paper!
This was our first time and we really enjoyed the food. Health conscious and gluten free options. The cheese dip was awesome. Elizabeth P took great care of us. Warm, attentive, and made great recommendations. She also gave us a free appetizer on our next visit. Highly recommend!
Food is excellent. I go here a lot. The Works omelet with sour cream on the side is so good with seasoned potatoes (picture att), toast jelly and butter. The lemon ricotta pancakes are yummy. The biscuits and gravy is also very good. The kale juice drink is healthy and delicious and my favorite. Cold coffee great too. They have gluten free bread too upon request.
Great customer service. I waited 40 min for them to open and it was delicious. A grilled chicken sandwich with chicken lunch meat was a little odd though. I went home and made grilled chicken sandwiches with actual grilled chicken breast after lol. Husband said his roast beast au ju was also good. I like they have gluten free bread.
I'm obsessed with this place. I had never tried Indian food outside of some frozen grocery store meals but now I can't get enough. I can't eat meat or gluten and there are so many options for everyone. I've loved everything I've tried and everyone is so kind, either dining in or with takeout.
This was my first time grabbing a meal from Cava. The store pickup was a breeze and the young lady who came to my car to deliver my food was polite and outgoing. I got a made to order bowl and it was outstanding! Everything tasted so fresh and tasted so good together. It was also gluten free, I highly recommend giving them a try!
Wish I could've eaten here! They have all their allergens clearly listed. In gluten, dairy and soy free. I spoke to the guy up front and even though I wasn't able to get anything (meat wise), it was a pleasure interacting with him. If you have a latex allergy, be aware that they use latex gloves(most BBQ places do).
My first visit, was very unhappy. I do not like to complain, but I Paid $10 for brisket meal, which was 50% Fat, and was only given one choice of corn bread as a side. I am celiac and allergic to dairy, but was not allowed to substitute any thing for the corn bread I had to throw away. Not worth $10 to throw more than 50% of the food away. Is the brisket always so fatty? And, why can’t customers pick their sides like most places allow, especially in the case of food allergies?

As a Gluten and Dairy sensitive girly, I appreciate the number of options available to me here. The staff was also super knowledgeable about food sensitivity vs allergy so I felt confident in ordering food that’s going to keep my body healthy. I got the Pasta Fresca with grilled chicken and no cheese. It’s so tasty and gave me all the cozy feels on a cold winters day.
Lovely date night spot. Friendly staff who understand the rules of the games. Can't wait to come back and bring friends. The staff was knowledgeable on dietary restrictions and informed us on gluten free options.
I had their gluten-free pizza with the white pizza toppings and I added broccoli and chicken and they were excellent about the accommodations and the food was really tasty!! I have celiac disease so it's really important for me to be able to have them meet my accommodations and they were amazing!
B.D. DINNER, Was Fantastic & You really get your monies worth, & plenty portions
The Chief really took the Gluten Allergy Seriously when cooking , love it, Reservations Recommended
I'm gluten, dairy and soy free. It's hard to eat out when I'm on the road. However, in a pinch, 5 Guys works. Since their burgers are 100% beef and not seasoned and they only fry potatoes in their fryer, it works. I stay away from the mayo though since most have soybean oil as the main ingredient. They do give way too many fries and the food is expensive.
We’ve eaten there twice in a week and the food is amazingly delicious. The best Vietnamese restaurant we’ve ever frequented. It’s our favorite restaurant. Besides the wonderful food, the ambiance is very nice. Super comfortable and welcoming. They easily accommodated my gluten free needs. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This is our go-to sushi place! Not only do they have gluten-free options, but they go out of their way to make exactly what we like. They go out of their way to make me an "Ellen Roll" which is salmon, avocado, asparagus and cucumber. And they make our chicken fried rice gluten-free with broccoli!
I really love this place and the fact that it offers gluten-free sub bread. Very much appreciate that. I do wonder though what their rate of pay is because the workers seem less than thrilled to be there at times. I’m curious about the cleaning schedule of the soda machine since it very often seems to be covered with soda splatter. I asked and the person was somewhat vague. That being said, the sodas offered are really awesome since there’s a bunch of different flavors to choose from on the fancy touch screen. Overall, they do a fairly good job and we go here pretty regularly.
We have been going to this restaurant for years and is the go to for our Mexican cuisine fix. There are several Mexican restaurants in the area so the theme is quite saturated, but we always chose Mexico Restaurant over the others. First, it is always clean and well organized and the prices are very fair for the food provided. We have always experienced exceptional customer service from everyone including managers, servers, and host. They may not be as upbeat as the competitors or over the top, but we have been here hundreds of times and never have we complained about the service. The food is good and they do a great job updating the menu and offering new items. It is not authentic cuisine, but does enough to provide a great meal. We have a family member with severe gluten allergies, and this is the only Mexican restaurant she feels comfortable at, and they provide her plenty of options. The bar drinks are definitely short of spectacular, but for those looking for a family friendly vibe, Mexico does not really promote alcohol and their bar is always empty. Those looking for a bar scene will be disappointed. The patio is amazing, however inside is comfortable but a bit dull and not as loud and flamboyant as some of the other restaurants. In the end, in a heavily saturated theme, we continue to come here over the others because of the consistency and above average marks in all areas. It is not fantastic at anything, but we have never left disappointed.
Great experience, first time dining. Chef Vito greeted us when we walked in and also visited the table during dinner. My wife has celiac so GF is a must not a want. Chef was aware and extremely accommodating to cook up everything GF. Started with some calamari and then she had the piccata. I went full gluten and had the chicken parmigiana which was delicious. The sauce was fresh!! Topped it off with the featured wine from Abruzzo, Talamonti Pecorino. Great experience, will certainly be back. This is a restaurant that defines the words Mom and Pop! We certainly felt welcome at this table!
Was there yesterday for first time. Lovely atmosphere. Staff seemed friendly but very busy & highly distracted. It appears they lost track of customers.
I ordered gluten free bread & waited for 15 minutes. Finally got it but after taking it home & eating it, it’s not gluten free after all.
Sadly I have a severe allergy, so I don’t be returning.
I had the crab Mac and cheese, it was so flavorful! I had Maria’s margarita, you won’t have a better one anywhere else. Delicious. I got my tiramisu to go- the best I’ve ever had. They even have chips of chocolate in it. Absolutely fabulous.
They have a lot is gluten free options on the menu, which we really appreciate and it can be hard to find.
Thank you so much to management.
Try this restaurant if you haven’t yet!!!
Enjoyed a quick and tasty brunch here on a trip to Richmond. The server offered me a variety of options for substitutions and I crafted my perfect meal - Goodness Gracious omelette with turkey bacon, a fruit cup, and a half waffle. So good! My friend is gluten intolerant and was able to order the gluten-free pancakes without issue. Would return!
Went tonight for the first time and LOVED it! I got the salmon and my husband got the steak and they were both incredible. Fantastic friendly service, everything very clean and awesome that many of the items are gluten free. We'll definitely be back soon :)
I want to start this review with a little rant. I feel deceived by this company. How Dare you all sell a Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Plant based Vegan treat that was so damn Tasty!!! Pardon my language but Vegan food isn't supposed to be that dog on delicious! I am gluten loving, dairy praising, Red Blooded iron stomached American and I couldn't tell the difference. As a matter of a fact my wife ended up watching the shark tank episode you appeared on when I found out. The place is gorgeous and very inviting the staff are awesome and personable and the cinnamon buns are to die for!! I got a custom creation (peanut butter and banana creme with pecans coconuts and slices bananas 10 out of 10 would try again) the wife got the apple pie (amazing with the oats and apple slices) both were out of this world. Only thing I can say is we will be back! We'll one more gripe with your business I'm supposed to be cutting down on my sweets and you're on my way to work very dangerous combination.
Fresh poke with good toppings and sauces (greatly appreciate the gluten free options/signage as well) -- the wasabi aioli and OG sauce combo is perfect. I recommend getting a bowl with half salad greens/half sushi rice or it can be a tad heavy. Borderline on value as many of the toppings are an added cost, and sometimes the amount of protein can be a bit on the light side.
