They were stellar from the moment we walked in. They had my mind at ease immediately assuring me they don’t even bring gluten into the building. The food was amazing it felt like a 5 star dining experience. The whole menu being gluten free and without worries of cross contamination it was a fantastic experience with food and service. I will be returning for all of my events worth celebrating. Not to mention a full side menu of mocktails 😊

Had to wait a few minutes to get seated as they were busy. Obviously popular so that's good. Lots of gluten free and vegan options which were clearly marked on the menu and much appreciated. The food was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly.

I love the food here. It is so flavorful and the portions are nice sized. They are as kids friendly as they can be with the older adult atmosphere. I recommend the burgers. The wine selection is fantastic! They have a great gluten feee menu.

Best Thai around without a doubt. Always great food and service. If you have any allergies they are very good with adapting the dishes to accommodate. Wife is gluten free and they always get it right. Will continue to come back. Recommend: Pad Thai Gai, LEMONGRASS SOUP-incredible especially when sick.

A friend and I were on a girl's trip to the area, and we are so glad we went to Mill Street Grill. Hannah was our server, and she was SO delightful. I have to eat gluten free, and she was able to make recommendations to help my meal be delicious but also safe for me. My friend got the prime rib, and she said it was tied for the best prime rib she's ever had. This is a place to keep on the list to visit!

Fantastic Fish. I had gluten-free breaded fish that was lighter and better than any breaded fish i have ever had. My wife has celiac and was able to have a great meal that was gluten-free and safe from cross-contamination.

Early 4:30 PM dinner on 5/2/25. * Note: You can use the public parking lot across the street for $6 an hour vs the valet at the restaurant. I don't want kids driving my vehicle. We have been coming to Virginia Beach off/on for 24 years and dining at Waterman's each trip. 3 years since our last visit. Walk in. No reservation. Seated promptly inside as requested. Our standard order for two orange crushes placed. These crushes had very little actual orange taste and more ice than drink. $9.25 each. We have the drink recipe from Waterman's and make them at home regularly with the original Burnett's orange vodka. These crushes were made with the new Waterman's orange branded vodka. Didn't order any more. My wife's salmon salad and crab cake were very good. My lobster tail and sides were also good. A lot of flies inside the restaurant detracted from the meal. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. We don't care about your allergies, vibes, how "chill" you feel, or the need for gluten free food. **If you see a Google review posted with just stars & no text, report it via the 3 dot selection adjacent to the review. If the text in the review doesn't describe the food/service report it. This cleans up Google reviews and removes the slugs just trying to get reviewer points by marking a star or "paid" reviewers. This has been our family spot for years when we come for family vacation. It’s 9 times out of 10 a great experience. Some good things. They have great gluten free options. Their orange crushes are the best. And the prices are deff reasonable. Some not so good things. Caution if you sit outside when there is live music, you can’t hear each other talk and will have to yell. Some of their dishes lack flavor. Their peel and eat shrimp are almost inedible due to not being deveined and hard to clean out yourself.

Ate here for lunch with my husband and son. The food was delicious and service was superb as always. The second we sat down the service was ready to help me get something started for my son who was clearly hangry and on the verge of a toddler meltdown. She was knowledgeable about the menu and navigated his dairy allergy like a champion. He had the kids burger and seemed to enjoy it. I had the steak salad and it was DELICIOUS(made gluten free and Celiac safe). My husband got himself a burger and also said it was great(he is picky about his burgers and said it was cooked perfectly and he didn't have to scrape any condiments off like usual)

Had a fabulous meal! My mom and I are gluten free and there were so many delicious options. Definitely try the buffalo fried oysters and red crab dip. We sat at the bar and Whitney offered fantastic service. She had great menu suggestions.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Pricey, but worth it. And, honestly, everything is pricey these days. Treat yourself and have a great time. I love that they have an actual gluten free menu! It's rare we have so many great options. We enjoyed trout and black cod with asparagus, mashed potatoes, and crabmeat. We even had an extremely delicious gf flourless brownie with strawberry sauce! Don't forget to ask for crayons to color on the table paper!

Probably one of the three best meals I've ever eaten. Everything was beyond fantastic. The lavender rose lemonade was so refreshing and delicious. Rarely do I see so many gluten free options but I could eat a majority of the menu. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I tried some of my son's butter chicken and it actually made me laugh with joy. The atmosphere was also very inviting and cozy. It was much bigger than I thought it was going to be judging from the outside.

I visited with family and we had a wonderful time! Ada's is the perfect combination of atmosphere, food and service. The location on the Potomac River is ideal too, making it an exquisite experience anytime of the day. Our waiter, Theo was friendly, efficient and attentive. Based on my reservations, he knew that I had gluten intolerance and made sure to suggest the foods that were within my restrictions. He did so without me having to ask and even communicated with the chef to ensure I had the perfect meal. When you go to Ada's be prepared to be well cared for and fully satisfied. That's why we love it there 💜

Drove a little out of our way from I-81 to check out this place and we were well rewarded for our time. The brisket was very good (excellent texture, good flavor), the pulled pork was excellent, and the variety of BBQ sauces was also superb. Lots of options for kids. The catfish bites were very good and portions were solid. I'm gluten free and the menu had plenty of good options for me. Plus the staff was very knowledgeable about my options. Also seems like a great place to watch a game.

“Market Rate” fish got me! Always ask what the price is if the menu said “Market Rate!” $30 surprise bill for a gluten free entree! And the fish was maybe 4 oz, 2 stalks of asparagus and a lump of mashed potatoes. Yes it was delicious but far from worth $30! Left me feeling ripped off.

The food here is absolutely amazing! I'm both gluten and dairy free and they are very cognizant of allergens and dietary restrictions. We went on Valentine's Day and the manager made sure that every woman received a rose. I had the Mahi Mahi Tacos and blueberry lemonade! The service was great, wonderful atmosphere and it was a perfect evening! We'll be back!!!
