Great gluten free options, just be careful not to order tater tots, chips, or other fried items. The street tacos are amazing and it's never too busy during the day.
**Five Stars: A Must-Visit for Meatball Lovers!**
My recent visit to Manic Meatballs was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped into their cozy establishment in Lakewood, WA, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home.
The menu variety was impressive, catering to all preferences with options ranging from classic beef to innovative vegan, gluten-free meatballs made with Impossible™ meat. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The serving sizes were generous, providing great value for the price.
What stood out to me the most, aside from the delicious food, was the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The option for drive-thru service added a convenient touch for those on the go.
Manic Meatballs is not just a restaurant; it's a unique dining experience that brings people together over the love of meatballs. Whether you're a local or just passing through Lakewood, this is a spot you won't want to miss. Highly recommended for a quick lunch, dinner, or even catering for big events. Don't forget to try their vegan option – it's a game-changer!
When I call in my order it's a special order due to I'm gluten free and for some reason the call center always get it wrong 🙄 but when I dine in they always get it right. I do check my order
A local favorite specializing in homestyle brunch. Full espresso bar onsite. The specialty Blackberry Bramble White Mocha is good both hot and iced. Oat milk available – just request no whipped cream if you are dairy free. Generous portions that are flavorful without being greasy and gluten free options are available. So far have tried The B.S.T. Scramble and Choi’s Survival Scramble with home fries and gluten free toast. No reservations – waitlist available. It is a popular place with limited seating.
The food is almost never good. The crust is always undercooked or burnt. They upcharge THREE DOLLARS for gluten free crust like its a choice and not a dietary requirement for some. They also upcharge the same amount for gluten free "bread sticks" which are just thin burnt crust with cheese on the top - literally tasted like eating burnt cardboard, only harder to chew. We end up spending $40+ for 3 people to get pizza, more than buying a couple of pizzas from anywhere else that would feed the WHOLE family [5+]
I really wanted to like Casa Mía, especially with its nice sign and balloons welcoming Washington Track and Field State Championships participants—unfortunately, that was the highlight of the visit.
I ordered the manicotti in a butter cream sauce, and it was honestly inedible. It arrived drowning in what seemed like a full cup of straight butter poured over the top. It wasn’t a sauce—it was a greasy pool that made the entire dish unpleasant. I wish I had thought to take a picture. My daughter had the chicken parm, and it wasn’t any better. The chicken was bland and soggy, with a strange texture that didn’t sit right.
Some members of our party had pizza, which seemed okay—definitely better than the pasta dishes, but still nothing to write home about. We did appreciate that there was a gluten-free pizza option.
The manicotti and chicken parm were supposed to come with a choice of soup or salad, but our waitress never asked for our preference and never brought either. While she was friendly, the service overall was slow considering how few people were in the restaurant.
We left disappointed, still hungry, and wondering how a place could serve food like this. Definitely not worth the price or the wait.
Went on a Monday afternoon, 2 people.
Greeted upon entering. Prices were comparable to other sub places. Food was just as good as any other.
The only thing I felt really stood out about this place is that it helps the local fire fighters which is great but also that they had some unique flavor profiles that I think many would enjoy.
I didn't like that they only had 2 options for bread (White or Wheet, Gluten-Free bread also). Other then that, seems like a great little place. I'd be back to try another kind of sandwich.
I went during a busy time & didn't have to wait long . the food is fresh & portions are large . I had breakfast & enough left over for a very filling lunch . the hollandaise sauce was perfect . I originally went because I heard they had Gluten Free biscuits which were also tasty but loved the whole thing . all the servers were great & attentive . I highly recommend checking this Gem out .
Not a regular customer, but heard it was good for gluten free diets. We wanted to do a quick pickup so we called to place an order and they wouldn't take an order via phone. Very disappointing. Food was pretty good, but customer service could be better.
This place is a gem. It's the weirdest location in the middle of a golf course community in Lakewood. But the food is the best in the south sound area! You'll be hard pressed to find a better chef for the price and the atmosphere is elegant and chill. I'm wearing a sweatshirt and khaki while a guy plays piano and I polish off the greatest $20 bottle of Sanoma savonion blanche! My steak was smoked and the balsamic glaze on the caprice was decadent. Gluten free options and a killer menu makes this my #1 venue for guests and regular meetups.
I don't usually shop here but Walmart has a larger variety of gluten free good than other box chain stores. The prices are actually better than some of the expensive places. I'm quite impressed and pleased by this.
This is a great place to go for indian food. It seems to be family run as i always see the same husband and wife (im assuming here) everytime i come in. The food is great and very flavorful yet simple and not over salted like many other indian restaurants ive seen. The wait staff is very attentive and nice. I also appreciate that all the appetizers except for one are gluten free (battered in chick pea flour). This means i can onion rings again! The meat werved with the entrees is nicely sized and and flavorful. Lastly the price is also very reasonable. I paid $30 for 1 appitzer, 1 entree, 2 desserts, and a good tip.
P.S. if you like chai, get the chai tea. Its not large and a bit pricey, but its delicious and home made from scratch. And if you like coconut get the coconut walnut icream.
Standard Vietnamese fare plus delightful extras that set Fresh Rolls above and beyond: extra menu items (lemongrass tofu!!), designated vegan and gluten free items on menu, hot fresh ginger tea, cute and clean ambiance.
Great place for a low key meetup or neighborhood hangout.
Friendly and prompt service let me feel like a valued customer even though it's my first time here, traveling through. Thank you Fresh Rolls for making a fantastic first impression 😁
It wasn't too busy when I was there this morning for a quick breakfast. Waitress was quick to bring drinks, coffee was hot and fresh. My son and I were quick to order, food came out pretty quick and was hot and fresh. I got the gluten-free pancakes and they were good with the pecan syrup. Paid at the table and left. No complaints 👌
Food is so good! I got the Chicken Pad Thai and the flavor was so amazing, so well seasoned and perfectly balanced. The woman (who I think might be the owner) was so friendly and helpful. My mom can't have gluten and she helped go through the menu of what she could have, it was awesome. The other staff were also very nice and helpful. I almost never eat leftovers and I'm genuinely excited to eat this because YUM.
This pizza was absolutely delicious. Took 7 of the kids there and they absolutely loved it (I had to show her our appreciation....$$). Now, its not a normal thing to be able to take 7 kids to eat at the same place and they actually all agree to like something. But this joint got the pizza errybody needs, even gluten free people. We will definitely be returning to this establishment, more than likely again and again. Oh and for you on the fence, just go try it!

This is a great burger shop with a great old school gamer atmosphere. We found this place by accident and glad we did. The food is good and the price is great. They have old school games you can play at 2 of the tables. And the owners are so nice and friendly. I am gluten free and she made sure to check that the fries were gluten free for me and lettuce wrapped my burger. This is my new favorite burger place.
The food was really good, loved the smoky taste to the dishes and also they make it in gluten free alternatives. Love it! Got the pad see weu -wide rice noodles with beef, traditional fried rice with pork. Meat was not over dried and was just done perfectly!
Took the girlfriend out for dinner date. She is gluten-free. And when we asked questions about gluten on their menu, they were more then willing to accommodate us period she stayed. She was out of gluten-free soy sauce and we joked. We will bring ours next time period after we asked about hot tea. She said they're out for the evening, but we'll have more. Next time we come in, to which I replied. I will bring mine then too and we laughed. We did the sashimi plate and they were willing to give us our choice of fish, most places don't do this. Real gem of lakewood! We will be dining here often as they are the most accommodating! 10/10 will recommend 👌 👍
Thong Thai Restaurant is a real gem! The atmosphere is comfortable, the staff is friendly and fast. The location is easy to find. Most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious!
A couple members of our family have celiac disease, so we're cautious and picky about dining out. This is a trusted place that never disappoints. It's gluten-free made easy. We came here to celebrate two birthdays. This business is family owned and run. Once you experience the food, it will become one of your favorite places, too!
Super friendly staff and a huge selection for all you can eat. When I told the waitress that I couldn't have soy sauce because I'm gluten free, she brought me out a different dipping sauce and side. Plenty of options for everyone. Our favorite were the bulgogi, kalbi short ribs, and brisket.
Been a long time since I could enjoy teriyaki and sushi. New owners previously ran a high end restaurant and bring that same experience here. Inside is newly renovated and continuing to change. New owner is a sushi chef and will be adding more variety in the near future with new menus. Juicy tender chicken with proper white fluffy rice, great chow mein, beef fried rice was perfect, egg drop soup broth was great. like to eat here atleast twice a week. there are definitely gluten free options if you go through the menu. they are great people and accomodating to those also with physical or mental handicap and or disabilities.
Vega is absolutely fantastic 👏 💯
Ordered chicken fried rice as my appetizer. They were so kind to let me bring a new bottle of gluten free soy sauce because I'm celiac. I appreciate her outgoing personality and attentive service!! I next ordered the rib eye steak med ( omg yumm)
My friend ordered grilled shrimp skewer. We are happy 😊 😃
