Tremendous breakfast/lunch spot. Great breakfast sandwiches. Gluten free English muffin is also very good if you need GF. Mainly bagel sandwich options with a nice espresso bar

This black owned business has the absolute best cupcakes. They are so moist and flavorful. The flavors are too die for!! This is a must! They have vegan and gluten free options.

We're now regulars at Lovely Day and I've reviewed them on other platforms, but felt the need to add another 5 star review here too. The food is fantastic, I am gluten free and almost the whole menu is GF (though it's so good you wouldn't even know it). We love the Buffalo Cauliflower (we often get a 2X order!) and the Chicken Milanese. The cocktails are always awesome as well. The staff is incredibly gracious and welcoming -- and they are so kind and patient with our 3 year old daughter as well. We highly recommend Lovely Day!!

Amazing spot! The menu was very clear about dietary restrictions, and the fact that it’s an entirely gluten free establishment made me feel very safe in ordering. Portions for the bowls were fantastic (yay leftovers for lunch the next day!), and shout out to the many dressing/sauce options available. Finding gluten free teriyaki sauce AND vegan ranch to dip their delicious cauliflower wings? A major win! Only caveat to note is the cookie dough potion is quite small for the price, but I do love to support Sweet Loren’s when I can. Overall, so happy to have found this spot, and will definitely be ordering from here when I’m visiting Oakland again!
