Gluten free bacon boi burger is great, but I have only two problems. I have to go to maccas every time to get American mustard as they don’t have it at burger urge. And some greenhills restaurants take forever to get your order because they have an exorbitant number of door dash orders. Burger urge is one of them.
Came in on short notice for dinner, and we were able to get a reservation nice and easy. When you walk in, you first notice the atmosphere, great lighting, nice loud music, also great music. The waitresses that helped my family and I were amazing, and they helped greatly when it came to making sure things could be made gluten free for myself. When the food came out, we were shocked by the sheer size of the portions, you definitely get a lot of food for what you pay. I advise you don't eat for about 5 hours before you come in, otherwise you won't be able to get through your meal. Overall, the best place to go for food in Maitland and surrounding areas is Wildflame.
Hands down, one of Maitland’s finest establishments. From start to finish, you’re made welcome & the food hits all the notes. The braised duck with red curry sauce is something special & there plenty of options for coeliac diners. Thanks again guys, we’ll be back!
Today we decided to try Salt, Chilli & Lime for lunch. I called to book a table for 2 adults and 1 child. I was asked if I was happy to sit outside, which I was fine with.. but asked to be in the shade being pregnant and 31 degrees. We were seated under an umbrella which we were told they couldn’t adjust as they were new and they were not sure how, so I had the sun on me the whole time! I could see a few other tables in the shade which I knew were reserved, but asked if we could move as I was getting burnt and uncomfortable. I was then told the table in the shade was reserved for 4 people (these 4 people happened to be friends of the owners, as we overheard them talking) we had plenty of time to sit and eat there before they arrived. They were just going to get drinks as we had finished eating.
The food was good, although the menu isn’t very clear, if starter or main! Also served from a paper tray with plastic recycled cutlery.
Could be more gluten free options, such as burgers and tacos!

Awesome food at the trial night at the ready to open Greenhills location! Super yummy burritos, nachos, naked burrito. There are great options for those that are gluten intolerant and healthy eating!
Domino’s is the only takeaway my wife can eat safely, being a celiac. We have never had a problem with the gluten free base or cross contamination from utensils or workspaces contaminated with gluten so keep up the good work. The pizzas ordered were delicious and ready for pickup at the time I chose on the App so a good experience all round.
The sushi here is always fresh, they all taste good. As a coeliac, usually these things aren't the best, but, they are careful with the tongs to grab the sushi, and they have good knowledge about gluten free (shoutout to morgan, she's the best, every time I go there, she's working, and she is always nice and respectful as always)
