Really lovely place, over looking the lake. All the pizzas can be gluten free, I had vegan too (with added chicken). I only intended to eat half of it and save the rest for tomorrow, but accidentally ate it all!
Good gluten free pasta and beer. Manager/waiter was rude to two older English ladies. As they tried to tell him something about their beverages, he said, “what’s wrong now”. Mean. Then I saw the same guy pick up several French fries with his fingers off a plate that was being delivered to a customer. I couldn’t believe it. Find another spot.
Very tasty gluten free options. The chefs meatloaf and the venison were very good. Paired with a wine and some deserts, it was delicious and well proportioned. We were very full. The staff were fantastic, English was better than mine, very friendly. The place is cozy and warm (we visited in February). Not the cheapest, but between 4 people- 4 mains, 1 bottle of wine, 2 deserts, 1 coffee, and bread baskets, we spent around 40€ each.
We were initially turned away by the hostess who told us that no seating was available without a reservation. We elected to order takeout which they accommodated.
Surprisingly, multiple similar sized groups without reservations were seated in the 30 minutes that followed.
Despite sitting near the entrance and attempting to flag down the hostess for over 15 minutes, we were not brought our food until it had been 55 minutes since we ordered, and it was clear that the food had been sitting out on a counter for some time.
The food was mediocre at best and not worth the price nor the wait unfortunately. They do have gluten free options which we appreciated.
Lake Bled in Slovenia, terrace overlooking the lake, there are various places, we stopped in this one. Allergens indicated on the menu, decidedly generous portion (we asked for the doggy bag), right wait. In terms of price, I would say one of the most convenient restaurants and it seemed to us to have more gluten-free options after a quick look at the menus. In the photo red wine risotto with dried tomatoes, black olives and Slovenian pork belly (not exactly light, but very good)
Ps. Upon request there is the possibility of having a bath pass (otherwise it costs €1 to enter the baths in Bled)
The burgers (Amaze and Mushroom Burger) and fries were delicious! The service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. Gluten-free options (burgers, cakes) are available.
There is a selection of gluten free dishes including gluten free pasta, and there is a lot of awareness and help from the restaurant staff. The location of the restaurant is stunning on the shore of the lake, and the atmosphere is great. Relatively expensive prices like in all the restaurants around the lake. Recommended place!
Nice elegant restaurant, a stone's throw from Lake Bled. Friendly staff, (but you have to speak English 😊) above all knowledgeable about the gluten problem, being celiac I found out if I could eat without problems. They guided me and ensured that I would have no difficulty eating almost everything. Excellent food. Even good coffee that doesn't make you miss Italy as often happens 😊. A little expensive, but still worth it
The multi-course menu is a symphony of flavors, expertly executed by the talented kitchen team. Exceptional service and intimate ambiance and gorgeous vista views elevate the dining experience. Able to accommodate gluten free and other dietary restrictions with flavorful aplomb.
