Got a basic gluten-free thin crust pizza tonight. Asked for some extra sauce.
The pizza came out with extra extra cheese. It was covered as if in glue. It was pretty gross.
I didn’t feel like sending it back as I was hungry and didn’t want to waste it, but I don’t know how some extra sauce becomes a gallon of cheese. Please kitchen staff, don’t do that again!
Server was nice, hostess seemed distant.
Will come back another time to see how it is.
My partner and I both ordered burgers here to go. They tasted yummy, but we both had gnarly stomach issues after eating here. We didn’t upgrade the meat of the burger (extra charge) and I think that may have been the culprit. Kinda shady that they give you the lower quality meat, and make you pay extra for higher quality, especially for the already steep cost of a burger $20+. Won’t go back here because of how it gave us both tummy issues! I am also gluten free and they were not clear if the sauce had gluten in it or not, which is stressful for someone with an allergy. They insisted on putting it on the side, but why would they need to do that if it was truly GF? Sketch. Fries were also pretty limp, not crunchy or fresh.
First time here and it won’t be our last. The atmosphere is great, the service was phenomenal! Kriti was so helpful in recommending gluten free dishes (they are also marked clearly on the menu), and she was super attentive and nice. Everything was delicious and we want to come back and try all the other dishes on the menu!
I took my mom here for lunch. We loved it! The menu is basically whatever the chef decides, 2x/day. But there were a variety of well prepared, delicious vegan and gluten free foods included. I had the best lentil soup ever, and the perfectly prepared black beans with ginger and onions were mouthwatering. Even though mom didn't care for the creamy collard greens with kale (I liked it just fine), she had plenty to eat. Tea or water is included, and we shared the key lime pie for dessert- yummy!
This place has great food and even better for me, they have a number of gluten free items on the menu including pork belly bibimbap and salmon bibimbap served with lots of veggies. If you specify gluten free they will make sure the pickles/sides that come with your meal are gluten free and will provide GF soy sauce and hot sauce. Avoid the barley tea if you're gluten intolerant/celiac. This place is very popular at dinnertime and there can be a wait so it's probably not great for big groups in a hurry. At lunchtime you will be seated right away.
As a celiac I really appreciate that most of the menu is gluten free. I have never gotten sick from cross contamination here. You also get a really good portion of protein for the price. It is very simple food but it is delicious
Did brunch, the Gluten Free blueberry pancakes, breakfast sopes, and chilaquiles were AMAZING!! I’ll definitely be back to try lunch, the Tri-tip sandwich looks great!
Surprisingly good! Food was spicy, sour, flavorful and not too sweet! Server was friendly and very accommodating for gluten free requests! Ambiance was relaxing.
