From the moment we walked in the Bible was off. It wasn’t the welcome in experience as it was in the past this is my first time coming back after a year and I just thought it would be a nice treat, but instead it was a trick the pizza was good yes but the customer sucked the only person that was friendly was a young guy with the curly black hair and he was actually the only one that had a name tag on I came in on June 30, 2025 at around 5:56 PM the girl who wrote down our names on the pizza paper. She wasn’t listening very well. She didn’t even offer us what kind of crust she just assumed that we want it regular even though I know you guys have different crust, example gluten-free keto crust, etc., but none of those were offered. She merely even gave us eye contact. The young gentleman assisted me and was very attentive. He listened very well and he took my order precisely however, the young lady, unfortunately I don’t know their name so I only have descriptions the young lady with the long faux locks reddish brownish hair kind of Short took my boyfriend’s order. He even spelled out his name and she still spelled it wrong. I mean, how do U mess up Kyle especially when someone spelling it for U i’ll come here because you get to pick your own pizza and you’re able to be face-to-face with people and you can interact with them, but instead we got the complete opposite so again it’s been a while since I’ve been here so when it came time for us to get our sauces, it was offered by to someone who seems to be the manager the only reason why I would assume that she was the manager on duty was because again I used to come here a lot and I know who’s dressed different and who’s not she had on all black so my assumption is she was the manager on duty and she had a very slick mouth there was always a comeback, for example she asked me did I want sauce and I said may I have buffalo sauce on the side and she said that oh it’s $.85 extra I said never mind. I’ll get it at home then she started explaining why the sauce was $.85 because of the ounces of how many she also mentioned the sign but she said it is a slick manner as if I was dumb and I didn’t see it. She says oh it’s on the sign right there. OK I didn’t see it. I’m tall so of course I’m not gonna see it. She could’ve explained it a different way but she didn’t. She decided to get slick.
We've eaten at Sea Watch for years and usually had a very good experience. This time was very disappointing, both in the food and especially the service. We were given a very nice table outside as we requested. However our waitress was completely dismissive. It took nearly 30 minutes to just get waters at our table. We had to rely on other wait staff to answer questions and provide drinks. When she finally did show up, she took our order whereby I told her no less than 4 times that I had a gluten allergy. She even responded that she'd be sure to make a note of it. When the food came, it was not gluten free. Again I had to rely on another server to help correct the situation. Our server never once checked on us, brought us bread (that we asked for), or brought is drink refills. When I finally got my dinner (after everyone else at the table was finished, it was cold and the steak over cooked. Being that it was nearly 1 1/2 hours since being seated, I just gave up and ate some of it. Next, when I asked for a dessert menu, the server couldn't find one and rudely walked away. Now here's the best part, our server came to deliver the bill which was over $200. I would normally tip 20-25%. However in this case I tipped her about 5% (which was a gift, in my opinion). She even went so far as to blame me for not telling her of my gluten allergy. When when the table behind us (also very upset by the terrible service) vouched for me, she then blamed the other servers that were clearly trying to help her. As we were leaving, she was then standing at the upstairs bar chatting with a co-worker (which she did nearly all of the time she should have been waiting on us) at very loudly explained to co-workers and other customers of how insulted she was by the tip. I asked for a manager and after waiting 10 (after the place had closed), I was told he wasn't available. We've always enjoyed this place, but this experience has soured us. The host desk was completely disorganized with 3 ladies arguing with each other. I think management needs to see what's really going on with the experiences at this place. Our entire section became a community with our mutual contempt for the terrible service. Sea Watch....you're better than this. There is no excuse for so many families to have such a bad experience.
We had just left a football game and we were craving good Italian food. This place delivered. I have gluten and dairy issues so Italian food can be a challenge. I had the chicken marsala with gluten free pasta... excellent. My fiance had the veal parmigiana; again, excellent. The best garlic knots.. fresh, chewy, garlicky and parmesan. I could smell the garlic and fresh cheese. We haven't had good italian in a while so this was a great. Connie was a sweetheart.
Just WOW! The owners were there personally cooking, what a treat that was! I loved their stories! Now on to the important part, the food. I LOVE a good cheesesteak, my husband hates sandwiches. When i tell you he would not stop talking about how blown away he was, making noises, and the bread! My husbands tummy is not so good with processed bread, well no worries here my gluten intolerant peeps! They order their dough hand made from philly and bake it in house. The bread has natural ingredients. And soft does not begin to describe it! Their food is authentic! Its mostly takeout, but do yourself a favor and go sit in their dining room! The service alone will make me go back, the cheesesteak, is the best ive had in all of the US! Its my new go to!
