Had their ragu with gluten free noodles as takeout. The ragu was SOOO flavorful. I wish I could eat the pappardelle noodles, but alas I'm celiac 🥲 I think the gluten free noodles were chickpea rotini based on texture. As someone who's been gluten free forever I think they could use more gf noodles that are out there for variety like brown rice fettuccine (all the Thai brands are good), Jovial's tagliatelle etc. But I'll definitely try their other pastas even if they only have gf rotini, because the sauce was that good.

The 2 people working there were enthusiastic, friendly, humorous, and very helpful: great experience!! I appreciate the healthy vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options. My only comment is that the rice, tofu, and mushrooms are way underseasoned & bland. Covering with dressing can only do so much🤷🏻‍♀️ Price for steak plate is also very high for what you get...

Listen. With apologies to my favorite ramen spot, Desta Ethiopian Kitchen in Emory Point is my new favorite dining destination in Atlanta. Their Vegan platter rivals my favorite place in NYC, with a gluten-free injera that was THE BEST I have ever had! (And I have even tried making my own at home!) Some places where I have tried g-free injera seem to offer it reluctantly, and the texture is dark, dense, gummy (too gummy!), and overly sour. Desta has take the time to get g-free right: their g-free injera was light and fluffy. If they offered a class I would take it. The vegetables themselves arrived quickly and were piping hot, with a broad and complimentary array of options and everything fresh and perfectly spiced. The lovely and amazing manager, Bebe, was even kind enough to bring me a side of butter - but it turned out that it wasn’t needed! The greens - which can sometimes be bland and fibrous - were perfect! I can only think that the kindness of the people running Desta has something to do with the deliciousness of the experience. We felt not just fed, but cared for. As my husband and I have switched to more plant-based eating, and my gluten allergy has severely limited my options it has been a struggle to find a place that is both nutritious and delicious. This is the place. If you have never tried Ethiopian food before, try it here. If you HAVE and are looking for your new ‘spot’ make this location at Emory Point that spot. Parking is a bit tricky, but they currently do offer validation or you can pay at the meters with a card. We love you Desta!

Awesome high end Jewish deli, that's also awesome for events in the evenings. Cocktail bar serves well curated wine options and unique tasty craft cocktails. I wish they had more explicit gluten free options, but I still leave full every time!
