The new gluten free crust is not near as good and has to be undercooked or the edge burns which makes for a soggy crust. There was barely any toppings in the pizza and my salad was severely underdressed and I had asked for extra dressing. The pizza had to be remade. The place was messy and unkempt. A disappointing experience for a MOD.
The waitress was exceptional very polite and frequently checking on us . Also they have a good variety for people who are gluten free like my wife.. sometimes its hard to find something for her to eat
I don't know how Culver's no matter where I go is the only fast food both fully staffed and on top of everything.
Major bonus:Gluten free buns.
Possibly iffy for Celiac because I'm fairly sure the fryers are shared but I'd wager you can no doubt ask for tour sandwiches to be prepared in a safe area given the buns were given in their own package.
We decided to try out Stone Summit Steak & Seafood on a Sunday, and it turned out to be a pretty calm and relaxing place. Since there weren't many tables, the service was great.
Here's a breakdown of what we ordered:
((Appetizers))
- Summit Caesar: Crisp romaine lettuce, croutons, and parmesan cheese tossed in creamy Caesar dressing. It's gluten-free, but they could improve the portion size.
- Potato Wedges: A gluten-free friendly dish with shredded Jack and Cheddar cheese melted over potato wedges, topped with applewood smoked bacon and green onions, served with house-made ranch dressing and sour cream. Delicious and satisfying.
- Shrimp Tacos: The dish looked great, but the taste wasn't quite up to par.
((Main Course))
- NY Strip (Well Done) with Baked Potato and Vegetables: Cooked perfectly well done.
- NY Strip (Medium) with Fries and Brussels Sprouts (made with bacon and balsamic glaze): Surprisingly, it was cooked medium just as I asked, so that's a bonus.
Overall, the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this place for family gatherings or a date spot.
Visit after work unsatisfactory experience at nearby restaurant. Seated immediately. Waitress attentive. Had wings salads and veggie burger and mimosas. When asked for different side dishes than fries offer any side salad. Wings hot, crunchy and juicy. Unfortunately no gluten free bun but veggie burger delicious w/o bun. Had a mimosa flight for $12 pomegranate, blueberry Mint and cranberry. All tasty. Service was wonderful! So glad the other place didn’t work out for us. Will be back!
Very friendly staff, very clean. Runs like a well oiled machine! Management was present and on the floor also serving which is notably different than most restaurants now-a-days. Great place, great food even for gluten free! My husband and sons rave and crave the chicken!! Highly recommend!
Eating at Bob Evan's is alot like visiting your parents house and opening up their pantry (if you had a decent childhood). It's warm, friendly, comforting, and filled with food that (if you have gluten and dairy sensitivities) will later make you regret your decisions in life.
If you are in the mood for comfort food, this place is for you. The staff is friendly and courteous, and most of the patrons are too. Filled with mostly older folk, it's like visiting your grandparents house. When asked for a high chair, I was provided one, but it was kinda grimy and dirty. I wish they offered more in terms of a dairy free and gluten free menu. Some vegetarian/vegan options would be nice too to get my wife to eat there.
