Had lunch here with some friends. The Taro boba was delicious. There were lots of gluten free options and the service was really good!!! We loved everything we ate. Brady was our server. Very friendly, quick and knowledgeable. Much better than the Billings locations.
Our last time here, we had Jonathan as our server. He was absolutely amazing at his job. He checked on us throughout our visit. The food we ordered was really good. They are very accommodating to my wife's gluten allergy.
Great please for a delicious burger and fries! It was my first time here and I did order a gluten free bun and realized it wasn’t gluten free a few bites in but they were very friendly and remade me a new one. Seems the cashier forgot to put it in. I am not celiac but I am highly gluten intolerant so I will have a stomach ache for a few days; just be careful if you are celiac and make certain the cashier rings it in and it’s on your receipt!
I don’t want to leave a bad review because the food and staff were great, but just be cautious about your allergies.
Five stars all around- skip the wait, downstairs is the place to be, the menu is extensive and caters to gluten free individuals such as myself. The buffalo chicken dip was out of this world and for a very good price it could feed a table of people. So thankful to Ginny for helping us, she was so friendly and really went above and beyond. We might have to come all the way from Bozeman just to eat here again!
3/12/2025. Today we ventured out to a highly recommended Benny’s Bistro, just a few blocks from downtown Helena. The building and decor is very tasteful with an Art Deco feel. The menu is a mixture of soups, salads, and light sandwiches with many vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan options.
I ordered the ham and cheese panini with chip and house slaw. I didn’t care for the slaw at all, but I offered it to Otto and he loved it. The panini, made on their house-made bread was excellent. The “chips” (as they call them) are really more like tortilla strips.
Otto ordered the Montana Rancher roast beef cold sandwich and he loved it.
This is definitely not the place for meat-loving, tator tot eating cowboys, but I would bring my wife here for an upscale date night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They burnt my food and it was nasty and so was the customer service when asked about it being burnt. Was told that’s how we serve it is black and burnt. Was told they are certified gluten free but said they couldn’t guarantee it. Won’t ever come back to this truck. Nasty is even being nice
Brooklyn pizza is one of the best pizza joints I’ve had the pleasure to visit. They have a delicious gluten free crust! It’s perfectly baked; not doughy and not too crunchy! The vegan cheese is impressive. It looks nice n melty, it doesn’t have an overpowering yeast flavor and actually looks like cheese! The service is fast and so far everyone has been so polite! Shout out to Brooklyn pizza 🍕 you guys got it made!
Stopped in to have a meal after a long day of driving. We called prior about gluten free options and were told that they offer them. Once we arrived we asked what sauces were flour based or corn starch based. The waitress copped an attitude and walked away in a huff. She came back without an answer and started saying things about only the sweet & sour sauce & how they would cook the chicken so that could be eaten. She continued to have an attitude and we ended leaving. She continued to be rude as we left.
They were knowledgeable in how their food is prepared. They are knowledgeable about food allergies and have gluten-free options. Like *actual* options, not after thought options. Their shakes are amazing as well. Pricing was fair.
They have outdoor seating, which may be a problem in the colder months.
Family Roots Restaurant won us over! Clean, fresh tastes with excellent flavors and textures. My wife is confident that her gluten and seafood avoidances will be not only respected, but that the kitchen will work with her to provide delicious alternatives. Whenever we visit Butte from our home in Seattle, we will come here!
Loved this place! Took my son (12) tonight. The service was exceptional. Our server went out of the way to accommodate our need for gluten free and other adjustments. And our meals were delicious!
Called ahead and lo and behold they actually had gluten free pizza!! And...
It was very good! And be sure to get the Huckleberry Freeze. The crust is like a thin regular crust, not like a cracker! I would highly recommend!
I have heard about how exquisite Luuca's was for years. It is located downtown Helena on the walking mall. There is a convenient parking garage close. It is easy access. I have never had the chance to go.
I had gotten a gift card for Lucca's and invited a close friend to share the experience. What a wonderful time we had. The host and serving staff were so friendly and catered to our every need. I would say dinner is a five course meal. Everything was scrumptious. We appreciated that the restaurant supports other businesses by serving their bread. My friend needed a gluten free option, and they brought her gluten free crackers without us even asking. The main dish was described as spicy, I had requested a mild form, and it was SO GOOD. They did offer us desert, but we couldn't eat another bite.
It was obvious that the other patrons were enjoying their meals and lingered in conversation with their friends and family. What a special evening.
Remember! Cash or Check Only.
It's so worth it though. I love getting the Wong's Special Fried Rice and Almond chicken. My family eats gluten free so they also get some of the other things and have never felt sick eating there.
I highly recommend that you try this takeout place
I love eating here. Best service. Best food. As a person with Celiac Disease, I appreciate the care and consideration that is put into the preparation of my food. Ristorante Bella Roma is the best!
My server Travis took very good care of me and made my dining experience wonderful.
Eating here is one of my favorite parts of going to Helena. ❤️
We were in Helena for a weekend visit and we're overjoyed to find Village Inn! It brought back so many fond childhood memories 💜 The gluten-free crust was perfect!
This place is an excellent place for lunch, best sandwiches in town, but I stopped by for their bi weekly dinner service. The English pea roasted chicken parm risotto was to die for, so flavorful. The arugula feta pesto pasta was so amazing! The feta really pulled the dish together. The real show stopper was the pork ribs. Holy moly they fell right off the bone. The creamy polenta really lived up to its name, it was creamy and rich. Every bite was savory. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could have eaten more! That said, you should also stop by for lunch because every single sandwich there is SO FANTASTIC! The fresh baked sourdough foccia is so fluffy and amazing! They have vegetarian and vegan options too! Also for anyone with gluten allergies they can make anything in to a salad and will meet your needs! Great service, great staff, and great food for lunch or dinner.
