Don’t even think about it. Unless you are seeking revenge on someone, in which case you should recommend they order delivery from this place.
Found this place as “(Expletive) Gluten” on DoorDash. I figured out that the business behind that name was moonbowls, and chose to order directly from them so they’d hopefully get more money.
The first two times I ordered from them were kinda rough: Food tasted OK, portions were quite small, and orders were 30 minutes late.
I was foolish enough to order a third time.
When the order was 15 minutes late I checked their app and saw that the food hadn’t been picked up. I texted their “concierge” service, which assured me that the food was just waiting to be picked up.
30 minutes later I texted again. Silence. Tried to call, but their phone number is just a complicated menu where all options lead you back to texting them.
At the 2-hour mark I texted then again, only to learn that the order still hadn’t been picked up. They tried to shift blame, saying that they made the food on time but that their “delivery partner” (read: Uber Eats) was at fault. Whatever.
I cut my losses and took the refund. Will never get that 2 hours back.
You’ve been warned.
Great service and fantastic pizza! I also tried my husband’s gluten free pizza and it was one of the best I’ve ever tried. I would honestly have been happy to share with him which never happens! Would absolutely recommend Piz-zetta 10/10
We are in Brooklyn for the weekend, from upstate NY. We thought we would try this pizza parlor and we are very happy we did. We got a Vodka Roni Square and a gluten free Margherita. They were both excellent! Restaurant employees were friendly and respectful. I highly recommend Little Pizza Parlor.
Lunch hour was busy and we waited 25 minutes for our food. It was a mess of people waiting for their order and people trying to find the line to place an order.
That said, the gluten-free hamburger (+$1) was really good, one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Good food but surprisingly slow service.
Super great to have a restaurant with clear gluten free labels, and to have certainty its allergen free. The food was ok, and could use a little more flavors. Portion sizes are large and it hit the spot for feeling full and satisfied, and still had leftovers.
This is the best... I mean BEST Spanish vegan food in nyc!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
They even have some gluten free options.
The sancocho is the closes I've had to my mommies and I'm comparing it to a colombian traditional sancocho.
Staff is super nice and accommodating.
So far been here twice
The "Chicken tenders" are really chicken nuggets. While they are good and gluten-free, they are definitely NOT chicken tenders as they have listed on their menu. There is a BIG difference between Chicken Tenders and chicken nuggets. These are definitely nuggets.
I have celiac, and according to the person all but one arepa on the menu is gluten free. He didn’t seem super confident so I was a bit nervous, but I didn’t get sick! I would love if they labeled allergens/gluten free items on the menu to help diners with allergies feel more confident eating there (and to attract more gluten free customers!) I got a steak and cheese arepa and it was delicious and one was super filling! Great to have a solid gluten free option in DeKalb Market.
