I think people need to temper their expectations with the fact you're in basically rural Oregon. This isn't a city, it's definitely a small town.
I came here after finding it on the Find Me Gluten Free app. I came here because I have Celiac disease and read the owner of someone related to the owner is also a Celiac.
Ambiance is definitely Italian restaurant in small town America. It's at the end of a strip mall near the Albertsons market.
My menu was a printed paper that had gotten wet and then dried so the ink for the drink menu was smeared.
Waitress was nice. She let me know that the fried foods and the desserts were gluten-free. I was disappointed to find out that making the food gluten-free is an undisclosed upcharge and that there wasn't any gluten-free bread.
I got the appetizer of fried mushrooms for $15 which I felt was a bit much for button mushrooms rather than a fancier fungi.
I had the $24 gluten-free chicken parmesan and while it was fine, I think I'd go with something else next time.
My husband got the regular pasta and ordered the $23 carbonara, not even looking at his menu. That was a mistake because their carbonara is a mushroom cream dish and my husband hates mushrooms. "Carbonara" is a specific dish - cured pork, eggs, hard cheese and salt and pepper. Imagine ordering bolognese and it being full of mushrooms as the default. It's odd.
My husband ordered wine and I got an Italian soda in guava flavor. Usually I'm sucking down 4-5 glasses of water but the water here was the local tap water which has a strong mineral taste.
Overall, the meal was okay but I was a bit disappointed as a Celiac.

Mod is the only pizza place in GP where you can go that offers dairy free cheese and gluten free bread, plus their pizzas are excellent!! Lots of delicious veggie items and I appreciate that they have kept their prices low. You get a lot of bang for your buck and the employees are always friendly and awesome!!
My wife has Celiac Disease and they make sure that everything is made gluten-free and safe for her. We can request gluten-free fries and buns for our sandwiches. The decor is fine. The staff are all very helpful and respectful.
They are so accommodating to gluten-free requests. The gluten-free burgers are excellent! Make sure to ask for all the yummies you can get. The place is spotless.

An exciting array of gluten free options. Everything we tried was delicious, but the honey shrimp was exceptionally good. The staff was super friendly. We really enjoyed it!
Food was amazing, I found this place via the "Find Me GF" App because my daughter has Celiac. Some people mentioned some gluten free options and not being sick afterwards. When I got there and mentioned celiac the staff immediately went into high alert in a good way. They take Celiac very seriously and informed me that they could not fully guarantee my accomodation without cross contamination. I appreciated the transparency. The Host had recommended the hawaiian bowl as a good option that wouldn't contain gluten. Before the order was official the manager or owner came out and broke it all down for me. Told me they would do everything they could to make that dish as safe as possible for my toddler. It was greatly appreciated it. On top of that the food was really good. And the final icing on the cake is the hot sauce on the table was Marie Sharp's from Belize. My mom being a native Belizean this put the biggest smile on my face. I don't frequent grants pass but I will 1000% go here next time I'm in the area instead of my beloved in-n-out lol.
The husband and I wanted to try it out after the change in ownership, so we went in for breakfast today.
The atmosphere hasn't changed since the place opened. They weren't busy at the time, the parking lot was maybe half-full. In the area that we were seated, there were two other tables with two people seated at each. We ordered first but did not get our food first. We waited over 30min for two eggs, meat and a cup of fruit. I word it that way because they messed up the order. I had specifically asked for steak & eggs, with gluten free toast (they said they carried it). When the waiter came back saying they didn't have any & asked me if they could substitute anything to "supplement the meal", my husband answered "bacon". Instead of steak & bacon, they brought back four slices of bacon. The orange juice & over-easy eggs tasted bland and my husband (who actually got the steak he requested), said his steak was chewy & bland, mentioning how he was not asked how he wanted it cooked. Not worth the cost.
Came here for the great reviews and “allergy aware” menu. Our meal started great until we noticed very small pieces of croutons in a salad that was supposed to gluten free. This is important as there is a CELIAC ALLERGY not just a gluten free preference . We had to leave within the next ten minutes and the affected individual was throwing up the rest of the night. God forbid it had been an anaphylactic reaction, or we would have had to go to the hospital. Unacceptable when an allergy is stated.
I ordered the gluten free pesto pasta where you can choose your “add ons” and it was super yummy! I am not a fan of most gluten free pastas, but this was fabulous!
LOVE this place. So glad to have gluten free options in this town that don't sacrifice flavor. However, I do recommend y'all getting some real GF Buns. The toast is wonderful, but it might be a bit more bang for buck. My partner and I come a few times a month. Thank you for being in the community!
Wow, this Jersey Mike’s location was fantastic! The staff were all very friendly and very accommodating for a gluten allergy.
They wiped down the meat slices before my sandwich and changed their gloves. It’s clear that the staff is well-trained to handle allergies.
Additionally, the gluten-free bread was an actual hoagie-style, not just sliced bread. They also had gluten-free cookies available. What a treat!! I stop in Grants Pass for lunch often while road tripping, and I will definitely return to this Jersey Mike’s location!
Wonderful and authentic Thai cuisine. We tried the drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice and Panang soup. Everything was super delicious. Probably some of the best Thai food I have had in the USA. Also they can do most of their dishes vegan or gluten free if that’s a concern. Can’t wait time come back .
These guys did it right!
I'm gluten free and some of the Subway's are choosing to no longer offer gluten free bread. This place is one of them.
It's frustrating when I tell them I want a sandwich with no bread (I have GF bread in my car when we travel) and they try to make and charge me for a salad!
The person taking my order got it without me having to explain it several times and I appreciate them for it!
The diversity of the menu at Food Studio provides excellent selections for all diners: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and traditional diets. We had 3 delicious entrées and shared a delightful appetizer.
Gluten free buns were great! Best burgers in town, and I can actually have them with a bun hehe...! Simple online ordering, right on time & still hot when I picked it up. Loved the horseradish sauce too!
This was delicious. Something for everyone in our family. They were able to use gluten free sourdough in place of the bun so I could have the burger I was craving. The loaded tots with pulled pork were great. They were very quick and the environment was very clean.
The Haul was amazing. We were walking to eat at another place and this place caught our attention. So glad we went in. They have gluten free pizza, burger buns, and cheesecake! We had the bacon blue burger it was so good and the house made fries were bomb I forgot to grab a pic before we ate it all, same almost went for the cheesecake. Even my mom who is VERY picky loved her taco with the house made tortilla shell and her short sands drink. Thoroughly happy with dinner!
Yum! This is a wonderful little restaurant, with tasty food, and incredibly thoughtful service. I ordered my family a variety of dishes for a takeout order, and each one was delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The staff were all really friendly, and seemed to be very careful with my gluten free request. I definitely recommend giving this place a try, if you haven’t already. I know I’ll be back next time I visit Grants Pass!
Having found out I’m Gluten intolerant recently, I was happily surprised at the many Gluten free options they have at Zoom City. I tried the Pear of Thieves pizza with Cauliflower crust and it was hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve had, Gluten free or not. Sat at the bar and Belle our bartender was amazing and made delicious drinks. Can’t wait to try more off the menu! Great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere.
We just ate here last Friday evening and it was phenomenal!!! From our friendly server Joilee(sp?) To the wine and beer selection to the good to dessert, it was a pleasure!!! Grants Pass is blessed with this restaurant. We both had the Cobb salad with butter lettuce, bacon and bleu cheese along with their own buttermilk dressingsoooo good. All their breads come from a Jacksonville bakery and gluten free and delicious!!! We opted for the tri tip on top for a nominal fee....was Smokey and delicious also...desserts were creme brulee and the famous chocolate peanut butter pie!!! What a great dining experience! Carson also buys a lot of his ingredients at the farmers markets around the area. You can tell attention to detail even with the fresh flowers on the tables. We will be back again and again!!
He forgot to ask whether I wanted a wrap or a bowl. I just got home almost an hour away, and I have to give away my dinner and go without because I cannot eat anything with gluten. I'm bummed.
I've eaten here many times and have always had the best food and service. I'm not even that big of an italian sub eater but I am hooked on these sandwiches. Now there is even a gluten free option that I understand the bread was painstakingly chosen for...all that research was worth it because it is delicious. I also love that the gluten free subs come in one small size as I'm not always in need of a big sandwich. I've tried the Italian quesadilla and that's amazing as well, the vodka sauce is speechlessly good. I would wager that everything I haven't had yet to try is also top notch as it clearly all contains the one ingredient that makes it the best---LOVE. Oh and if the tiramisu is available when you stop by get you some. Thanks for being a multi-location food truck, your visits to Azalea always make my day.
The coconut margarita was amazing. They have gluten free french toast!! This made my day since places don't seem to want to do gluten free breakfast foods. My husband had the chicken fried steak and potatoes which is not gluten free but good he said. My mom had the regular French toast which she said was a bit soggy in the middle but understands this is a preference thing as we like ours done all the way through. Super busy when we went and only a few people working so they seemed a little as stressed but overall it was a good brunch spot with cozy feel to the restaurant.
Being allergic to gluten I had a gluten free (heated the chicken) chicken pesto and it was delicious, everything was fresh and clean 😊 good job, I'm normally very critical of any food joints.
