I love how Lupe Tortilla is so accommodating to people with celiac or gluten allergies! There was a mistake on my order today, but the manager quickly resolved it. I appreciate their excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to apologize. I will definitely continue to use them for catering my Christmas parties. The food is amazing!

Since the pandemic the food portions have gotten TINY and more pricey. It's always been a little higher priced which is fine the quality is usually worth it but it's kinda out of control these days. I get everything has gone up but they are just taking advantage of it at this point. Mixed drinks have always been weak so pregame or go to a real bar if you want drinks other than beer or wine with dinner. Waiter service can be hit or miss sometimes. There's a couple really good ones and a few pretty lousy who will bring you one round of drinks your food and that's it. They do at least have a pretty diverse menu so anyone can find something they like and pretty good gluten free options but in my opinion you can find better close by or a short drive away. Can't say I'll be visiting again, I would just rather spend my money elsewhere. Not worth taking the chance or occasionally the wait.

I have been eating from here for years. When it was known only as Cuisine of India. Loved the food but customer service has gone downhill ever since I had to go gluten free, for myself and my daughter. Today, on Mother's Day, all I wanted was my usual; however it seems the menu items have been edited and no longer displaying gluten free labels for items which generally are gluten free. I left my order with my mom to order for me while I was away at work. They were ordering for themselves too but got confused when they noticed the inconsistent labeling on the menu and called to ask about it. Spoke to someone who did not know what he was talking about. In his defense, when I later called and spoke to him, he did apologize for not understanding correctly that all the vegetarian items are gluten free and was very nice. Yes, I was still frustrated because the rest of my day which I had intended for resting and relaxing was now inconvenienced because I had to drive out of my way to get the food I specifically wanted for Mother's day. When I went in to pick up the food, Raul asked me how I was. I was honest and shared with him my frustration how when we call restaurants, not just NoonMirch, but this happens often, that the workers are not knowledgeable about gluten free as they should be since they are working for a restaurant. Raul said absolutely nothing to me, did not acknowledge my words and avoided eye contact and THIS IS THE REASON FOR THIS REVIEW SOLELY! You may have delicious food but you really need to do better with hiring people with better social skills & please make sure your workers know what the are talking about. Because of him, my entire day and plans for the afternoon were inconvenienced! May is Celiac Awareness Month!

Heart emojis everywhere, a place crashed after the NASA museum with amazing libations, but slightly underwhelming chicken tenders.

The food here was absolutely amazing! I have a gluten intolerance so I got a burger without a bun but they have gluten-free options with a dedicated menu (not sure on cross-contamination etc.) It was so delicious, and they have a huge variety of sauces to go with all the fries. I will say I ordered a small sweet potato fry and had enough to share with my toddler.

We were headed home from Galveston and searched for restaurants that offered gluten free options. We are SO glad we stopped here. When ordering the manager provided a gluten free options list. To our surprise they had tortilla soup on their menu. My daughter was reluctant to try it so they gave her a tiny sample to try and it was Delicious! Yes with a capital D! I had the chicken fried steak and my son and husband had the chicken fried chicken. All of it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean (restrooms too). It will be on our list to visit next time we are going to Galveston. I hear they have several other locations as well. Oh and they have free ice cream cones. I didn’t think to take pictures of our meals until after they were gone, but did take a few pictures of the inside. Wonderful atmosphere for families! (And picky eaters)

Absolutely the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had in any restaurant! As someone with celiac disease, it’s great to have options that are great for my illness and have an awesome taste, too! Our server Jordan was super attentive and engaging!

Don’t typically come to Pappasito’s, but I will say the reason I will come back from now on is because of our server tonight, AJ. He ensured that all of my food allergies were taken care of. A manager came over to confirm our order to make sure the fajitas we ordered were dairy and gluten free. He also provided baked corn chips for me to enjoy with my salsa. Will definitely be back and will specifically request AJ! I will absolutely be back! Thanks for making our trip amazing, AJ!

Went here tonight expecting a normal meal. My wife is a celiac and requires a little more consideration than usual and most if the time that is problematic for the wait staff. That said, Jacob, our waiter was FANTASTIC! we really appreciated the extra effort on his part. Thank you, Jacob!
